They could do better.

By edmar144 on 8/28/2018 at 12:32 AM. Helped by Jerson, Scott, Wes, Elmer.

I was really prepared to write a very scathing review of Subaru Antelope Valley. However, I decided to temper my criticism (just a bit) only because I think the service department is decent and they try to do the best they can with the product they have. That said, dealing with the dealership and issues with the Subaru I’m leasing has left me so sour that I cannot recommend Subaru Antelope Valley, or Subaru cars in general, to anyone. In regards to Subaru Antelope Valley, when you walk out on them and then they call you the very next day and say they are willing to give you the deal you wanted in the first place, make sure it really is the deal you wanted before making that long drive back to the dealership. Second, if they offer you incentives to purchase the maintenance package, make sure you get it in writing so there’s no “misunderstanding”. In regards to Subaru cars, I didn’t expect to have A/C and audio issues with just over 4000 miles on the car. It took 2 long, hot trips and a month to finally get the car back. Again, I don’t blame the service department but the product itself. So I finally got the car back but something seems to be wrong with the clock. Whether its broken or the interface is simply not user friendly enough, it’s just xxxx annoying when your car doesn’t give the right time.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Great experience

By Bakersfield1234 on 2/12/2018 at 12:39 AM. Helped by Pedro Meza.

I was in the market for a new car, and I decided to travel from Bakersfield to Lancaster with the intentions of buying a car. Pedro Meza made the experience easy and stress free. This was my first time buying a car and he was so helpful going over everything. My mom's friend who has been leasing cars for several years went with us and he was even impressed with the service and lease package deal given to me. The dealership closed at 9:00pm and we got there at 7:00pm and didn't leave until 11:30pm. Pedro was even kind enough to go over everything in the car and set my phone up in my car. He even went above and beyond and texted me the next day checking to see if we made it home safely and if I had any questions. I would 100% recommend this dealership and Pedro Meza.

I would recommend this dealer.

BRZ Lease

By Joe W on 7/30/2017 at 9:33 PM. Helped by Brandon Morgan for lease, Scott Fly for test drive.

The leasing of my BRZ form AV Subaru was as painless and straight forward as anyone should expect. Brandon Morgan communicated with me via email in a direct and very professional manner. He actually read my emails and answered all my questions succinctly. My experience started with Scott Fly who presented a friendly and unpressured environment for my test drive. He went the extra mile to find me a manual transmission BRZ to test. He was even willing to move the Yellow Series from the Showroom floor to make this possible. I was introduced to manager Wes Shalhla who remembered me when I showed up to process my lease. I never experienced the usual smarmy sales person routine. Kudos to AV Subaru for creating a sales environment that didn't get under my skin. Surprisingly even the Finance Department made their process enjoyable. Joe W

Great experience!

By matt123 on 7/26/2017 at 10:32 PM. Helped by Brandon, Waseem.

We leased a Subaru Crosstrek for our daughter over the weekend, our first time leasing. Brandon in sales was amazing. Waseem, the sales manager, great as well. No pressure, just straightforward answers, extremely patient and knowledgable throughout the process. Everything Brandon said he would do, he did. He really made the leasing process quick and painless. Finance department was great too. We did most of the back and forth on the phone and were probably at the dealership barely an hour. Even if you are in LA, which we are, I encourage you to consider them. It's worth it. Great experience!

I would recommend this dealer.

3 repairs with no reimbursement

By ronnyk on 9/18/2015 at 12:24 AM. Helped by David Boyle, service manager, Mary Weston, service writer.

Shame on you, Antelope Valley repaired the front, right and left cv boots twice: The first time, on November 14, 2014. The second time on July 10, (at no charge to me) due to failure of initial repair. The third repair was completed by AAMCO on August 4, 2015, due to another failure of the front cv boots. I incurred expenses as a result of the cost to repair the front cv boots by another repair shop. After paying for all of the expenses we incurred: towing, car rental, estimate from Galpin Subaru, and repair cost paid to AAMCO, I returned to Antelope Valley Subaru and spoke to David Boyle, service manager. I explained that our car broke down on the freeway, and we were towed into Galpin Subaru for repairs, had to rent a car. and pay AAMCO for repairing my Subaru. David apologized and asked what they [AV Subaru], needed to do to make it right. I explained that all I wanted was to be reimbursed for the expenses we incurred. He said he would speak to his manager. When my wife, Diane, picked up the Subaru later that afternoon, she was told, the dealer would reimburse all but the $115, that Galpin Subaru invoiced for their diagnostic estimate. After hearing this news from my wife, I spoke to David, explaining that I shouldn't have to pay for their mistakes or defective parts. I requested to be paid the $115 due to me and I was told no. Too bad, after owning nine Subaru's, we just bought a Hyundai.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Hands down the best experience we have ever had with a car dealership. They went above and beyond what we could ever even have asked for in how they delivered their top of the line customer service. They will definitely have our business from here on out!! Thanks guys!

I have owned subarus before, love them. Have bought previously from AV Subaru, a repeat customer who is as happy with their service department after the sale as their sales team!

I would recommend this dealer.
