Incompetent Service Department

I purchased a Porsche Panamera less than a month ago from Acura of Langley. The one star is generous because the salesman was great. The after sales support ( Service ) isn't there. When I picked up the car, more oil than required was put in and after I complained it was removed, the service light came on and a couple of interior lights were not working. I was told that the service rep that they were unable to reset the service light and for me to take the car back once they made an appointment with Porsche. The multipoint inspection report that I received said that everything was fine. Makes me wonder if 1. the service department has a clue how to service cars other than Acura and 2. Is the dealership mechanics actually doing the inspection. Several days passed with persistent calling from me to have the car's alarm reset. Finally, an appointment was set up with Porsche by Acura, hence, I took the car back. A couple of days after getting the car back, the hybrid fault light came on. I informed the Acura dealership immediately, thinking that since it was approx. 10days post purchase, the dealership would fix the problem. The service manager arranged for me to take the car to the Porsche dealer. Acura of Langley picked up the diagnostic cost but didn't pick up the 1400 dollar repair cost. The extended warranty that I purchased from the Acura dealership didn't cover the cost either.I understand that it wasn't a powertrain issue -( hybrid relay ), however, I feel that the dealership should at least stand behind their vehicles - at least for the first couple of weeks. I was told by the service manager that the Porsche is a high end car and the dealership is not willing to pick up the cost. Acura of Langley, being a large affiliate of the diwari group, I think, should stand behind their products . Moving forward, with what occurred to me, I would not purchase another car from this dealership and would not recommend anyone either. They seem to be happy to sell you a vehicle but not there for you immediately after the sale - not even 10 days after the sale.......

Incompetent service department

This service department is clueless..can't even do a proper oil change on a vechical that's not an Acura . My Audi TTS was basically vandelized by idiots who put the wrong filter and seal for an oil change. Cost me over $300 to recitify at an Audi dealership which Aura of Langley won't cover.. darborak@gmail.com

My wife and I had been shopping for a vehicle for about 6 weeks. We not only found a great vehicle, but the people we dealt with (Byron, Sonja, Ryan, and a couple of others) are simply top notch. Next time we need a vehicle we'll just go there straight away. They were not in the least bit pushy and we felt like valued customers and not just another deal in the making. We'd buy there again because of the people.

This fall I renewed my 2nd lease with Acura of Langley. My over all experience with the sales team at this dealership has been nothing short of excellent. I had the privilege of being appointed Daljit as my consultant. There are few people that I have worked with in any capacity of my life , that I would recommend more strongly than Daljit. He was so kind, caring and wanted to make sure I knew and understood everything about my new vehicle. Rating: 10. I give the rating high marks for there friendly service. Very knowlegable staff. The service dept is exceptional. The new location is well grounded. Lots of glass windows gives such an lighted view of cars. Lots of parking. The GM is Aces.

Amazibg experience with every single employee at Acura Langley that we came in contact with - whether we did business with them or not! Walking into a Car Dealership to buy a used vehicle is always stressful for us but not this time! Lindsey the Salesperson was friendly, honest and went above and beyond to assure that we were happy with our purchase! The finance lady was exceptional and also went out of her way to keep us updated on our finance while we were waiting for approval! I have nothing but positive to say as we had our kids there for a long time and the other staff went out of their way to accomodate our kids while we finalized details! Our kids keep asking to go back there! :). Wonderful experience and would highly recomend the team there :)

Watch out

Long story short. I bought the pre owned vehicle there, during the buying process I got trick by the doc fee and tire rim insurance that said including with the price. End up not. During the signing process, Matt, the sale guy, came in said my trade in car has more claim than they thought and forced me lower the trade value and they should knew when they had my detail. And forced me to finance and said will get better deal. End up the first month loan payment, only have 20% will be deducted from the total loan amount. When I asked, there was so much hidden cost just for borrowing. Also double check what features including. Their ad was wrong, doesn't come with the stuffs that mentioned in the ad. Like back up camera and nav, etc. The guy Matt working there is very dishonest,said finance it has no fee to me, lies, I learned my lesson. Hope everyone going to buy there be aware of the dishonest salesman and the tricks they used. I paid more than $1200 for unknown fee. Totally not recommended this dealer and beware of the saleman Matt, I don't think he a honest guy. I believe Karma. One day things will back to him.

Bad!!!!

Acura/Honda Canada I recently purchased a pre owned 2009 Honda Odyssey from Acura of Langley. We seemed to have a good experience at Acura of Langley until vehicle pick up. Upon our inspection of the vehicle, before the purchase agreement, we noticed that both fog lights were broken. Our sales agent (Byron Sowinski) said that he would order in the lights and replace them. That he would give us a call when they came in, but we should still come in the next day to finalize the purchase. We also asked about the seat cushion for the plus one middle seat that seemed to be missing. Byron said it was in the back, & that the cleaners just forgot to put it back on & that it would be included with the vehicle. Upon vehicle pickup, there was no seat cushion, the fog lights were apparently on order, there were no vehicle service records that were requested, some marks on the ceiling were turned into huge water stains when they tried to remove them, & one of the keyless remotes had a dead battery. We have received no replies to emails sent to Byron and the sales manager Gary Daviduk expressing our dis satisfaction with the customer service regarding the promised repairs to the fog lights and the fact that the middle seat cushion for the vehicle was missing. Beware of this dealership!!! Make sure you get all agreements in writing, they will say & do anything to get the sale but will not follow through with any promises.

Purchased a used vehicle privately and wanted to have a recall performed. Was told that they would flash the computer software, which was part of the recall, but refused to admit that the issue had had an effect on the hardware. While I was there, I had them do close to $700 worth of regular maintenance items just to make sure the vehicle was in good running condition as I wasn't 100% sure where everything was at. A few weeks later, when I felt like the recall item was still an issue, I took it back. They had it for a day, and said that they checked it all over and couldn't find a problem. Upon receiving my paperwork, it said something about their computer freezing during the test drive. No explanation. It's been a couple of months now, and we have been having issues with a lack of airflow in the front vents. I asked a friend who is a mechanic what he thought, and the first thing he said was 'check the pollen/dust filter for the cabin. I checked it, and it was completely black (they're white when they're new). It had built up crud inside each crevice. The vehicle has 150,000km on it, and I wonder if that has ever been changed. With the amount of 'regular maintenance' I had performed on the vehicle, I would have thought they would have spent 90 seconds checking this filter, and then recommended that I buy one (at their ridiculously marked up price). This could have earned them an additional $30-40, but instead has cost them a customer and a reputation. I would never bring my vehicle to them again. If I need an Acura service, I will drive an additional hour to the next closest dealership
