Amazing Dealership Amazing customer service!

We where a little skeptical about driving 60+ miles to look for a new car but the prices we saw on the internet where the best so we contacted them and made the trip! Well we are so glad we did! It was the best day! The drive was not bad at all and when we rounded the corner and saw the huge inventory we where in shock!! Then we went inside their beautiful showroom . We where greeted and the sales person we had been communicating with "Tom Sliger "came right away and escorted us to see the car we where interested in . He took us on a test drive and had all the answers to our questions! Very informative and easy to talk to. Let us see and discuss all the options we had before we decided ! Could not have had a more pleasant experience! Then we pleasure of working with Scott Dickey for our financing . Again could not have been treated any better! Very personable and friendly ! From the beautiful showroom to the super staffer left with an awesome new Explorer not to mention the best deal anywhere hands down!😍

Great New Car Purchase Experience

I purchased a 2017 new Ford Focus. I did most of the prep work with the salesman online and over the phone. Tom Sliger helped to make this an easy experience. I spent less than an hour in the actual dealership to do the paperwork and pick up the car. My family waited for me in the newly remodeled customer service lounge. Very comfortable. This was by far the best and easiest new car buying experience and I have been through several with other dealers. There's nothing fun about committing to pay thousands of dollars over the next few years but if I have to buy another car it will probably be at Akins.

Made it Easy

After dealing with other dealerships and them wanting me to come in over and over, I finally found Tom Sliger at Akins Ford. Tom wasn't begging me to come in or trying to sell me on something I didn't want. He made this simple, even though they were an hour away, it was the easiest car deal I have ever done. Thanks Tom Sliger and Akins Ford for my new truck!!!!

Salesperson changed price on vehicle

Salesperson showed us a vehicle, quoted $40,000. something, salesperson even wrote up numbers for vehicles. Called next day and told price is $43,000. and salesperson showed us wrong vehicle- VERY UNPROFESSIONAL to say the least.

Great sales experience horrible service!!!!!!

My wife and I had a great car buying experience when we bought her 2017 Explorer. It couldn't have gone much better. On the flip side the Service department is definitely lacking. My wife ran over something in the road and blew out a couple months after purchase. I removed the tire and took it to them for a replacement. I could not have had a more difficult time getting help. I went through 4 people and finally spoke to someone who "helped" me. It got worse from there. He ordered the tire but when she stopped to have it put on it wasn't ready like I was told it would be. I didn't expect the tire to be covered under warranty but I also didn't expect to have to pay twice the price of the competitor to put it on. I guess that's what I get for trusting that I wouldn't get taken advantage of. That's the last service they will do for our two Ford family. Do yourself a favor and drive by when when looking for service on your vehicle to anywhere but Akins Service department.

good service department

The manager assigned to my car very helpful as far as explaining tire wear and rotation results. He came and talked to me to give me updates when my car was being serviced too. I have had 4 recalls and one oil tire rotation service done at Akin. I was able to talk with the service rep assigned to my car. Usually I find they just take the vehicle and do what ever then you pay ...done. Not at Akin! They are polite and check back with you periodically. The waiting area has complimentary drinks and computer area for you to use. I noticed many people were working on computers as they got car service done. Bathrooms are big and clean as well. I always have had a great service experience at Akin and will buy my next car there. We have been impressed with the phone communication as we go through the recalls on all 3 of our Dodge vehicles. Akin people have made it easy to stay in touch as we waited for airbags to become available Very impressive. Thank you.

Made an appointment to repair and service f250 for 7:30 a.m. I took it to Akins the day before at about 2:00p.m. The afternoon it was suppose to be completed I got a call and Caroline said it would not be ready. They hadn't even started on it. I went and picked it up and took it to another dealer. I'll never never go back there again. What is the purpose of making an appointment?

The salesman was absolutely horrible. He was nice but he lied so much. They tried to rip us off in every way possible. Be careful with the numbers they present you because they will try to rip you off.

Disrespected as a woman!

I inquired about and F-150 with suspension lift and aftermarket wheels and tires. The overnight test drive went well and the next day I presented an offer for the truck. I am a woman that was buying a truck without her Husband. I did my research on the price on the values and option packages and know what all the aftermarket add-ons really cost. I presented an offer based on facts and even submitted documentation to support the offer,. Soon after the salesman (Steve) received my email offer, I got a call and at one point he was telling someone in his office "she is crazy" and was making comments about my offer (I told him I heard every word he was saying). He hung up and then called back trying to do damage control (too late). When I got to the dealership things went down hill. The salesman was asked to leave and another guy (I'm guessing was the negotiator) came in to "Explain" to me everything wrong with my offer and what certain things meant and kept asking me if I understood what he was saying. I may be a woman, but I'm not stupid. I was told that the Ford/Dealer incentives would not apply if I didn't finance through them (lie), was told that the truck I was looking at came from the manufacturer was a V6, but because of the suspension and over-sized tires, they had to replace the V6 engine with a V8 (how stupid do I look). They turned a business deal into a personal matter and treated me as if I was ignorant and uneducated. I will NEVER do business nor refer anyone to Akins.

Challenger 2014

Purchased challenger and always given attitude when problems have came up. ESC light came on one day told by manual should not drive. Called Akins told be 2 weeks to even look at car. Took to actual dodge dealership and problem was fixed in a day. My husband took to Akins for tire rotation and tires were roated differently than usual. Then I drive to work next day and feels like riding rough. Every time I hit a bump or any line in road my back ends sways. Feel in driver seat and also passenger feels riding. Very noticeable especially when car has been riding like a dream till they touched it. Never could feel a bump in road cause it normally rides so smooth. Not now. Now my car is at Akins after another 2 week wait to look at and being told they can't fund a problem. Classic for Akins. Husband went by to check in car after all day of no call to let us know of anything. Jeff Akins wouldn't even come out to speak but to say he couldn't help tires. Sure that's not the problem when only 20,000 miles on new 2014 challenger.

Very dissatisfied!

We inquired about a particular vehicle online and drove well out of our way to see it. We dropped in to test drive it on a Saturday. After speaking numbers with them as far as total price we needed to go home and shop around and think on it. We returned the following Monday prepared to purchase the vehicle, again driving way out of our way. When we got to finance everything went downhill. We were told we had to finance through Ford Motor Credit to receive the price we were quoted for the previous time we were there. Not once had they mentioned that before. Usually no big deal, however they gave us a 6.99% APR even with excellent credit. RIDICULOUS! We definitely walked away from that and decided to give a different Ford dealer our business. If i could give less than one star I would. Ron was friendly enough however we feel we wouldn't have wasted his time and ours had we been informed on the fine print on our first visit.

Initially had some issues with the sales person misrepresenting what the deal would entail, but the Sales Manager, Andy, stepped in and made everything right. Andy really went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the result. I really appreciated all he did to resolve the issues.

Worst Experience in my Life- 700 Miles of BSF

After couple mths emailing back and forth to Akins(Frank Sergi) I made the 700 mile round trip to purchase 2015 Wrangler Unlimited, Informed him I was coming, when I arrive it takes over 20 minutes to find him and then he basically says he has no time for me and turns over to another salesman. I show him the Jeep, Long story short-He turns me over to so called Mgr(Jason Mcdaniel) cause of email price. Mgr in short goes around for another 30 minutes and then asks for $700 more, I offer $500 due to dealer add on. He refuses and leaves me with yet another salesman , I come up another $100 and he goes back to Mgr(Used Cars of all things) and about 10 minutes later they both come in and Mgr says he is all in at the $700.This is Memorial Weekend which was 23May and I am a 22 year Veteran and then he says that includes my $500 Military rebate and I was buying the Freedom Edition(Ironic). They basically told me the last two days they had sold enough vehicles and I could leave so I did. They lost sale after all above over $100.00, I went back to my hotel room and found another dealer not far from them and Sunday went over made a deal for same Freedom Edition for $400 less. That dealer was GREAT!I have never in my 57 years had such a terrible experience with a dealer. Veterans and anyone else looking for a vehicle there are too many fine dealers in Georgia to put up with their BS.

Great experience without the pressure and hassle

I spent a good month or so trying to find the best deal on a Ford Fusion. Why buy used when I can get new for cheaper. We are not a huge fan of car dealerships and the whole process. Akins truly changed that experience. Not only was the customer service great but they were fast. They beat MOG Ford and got me in a better Fusion. We were in and out in under 1 hour with all the paper work done. Woody was fast and honest. They gave me more for my trade and gave me a great deal. We would definitely go back.

Great experence

Spent about three weeks researching cars on the internet and Akins FDCJ Ram had the better prices for the year and miles on the car. We decided to make this the first stop and was glad we did. Very friendly from the moment we walked into the dealership and greeted by the first person. I spoke with Tyler on Saturday prior to arriving that following Monday. We arrived about late morning and Tyler just happen to be with another customer at the time, he was nice enough to ask if he could get another floor rep to assist us, thanks for asking and not let us just stand around waiting. At that point we dealt with Jake, very friendly and ask if we could fill him in on the conversation we had with Tyler. Told him what we looking at and brought the car for us. Explained all the features and even showed us a few thing I didn't already know about. A big plus was he explained the whole Chrysler re certification process for certified vehicles which eased my mind for being a pre-owned car. Even when Tyler was done, he would still check on us and made sure we were happy and needed anything. From the time we stepped into the dealership till the time we walked out was about 3 hours, was expecting to be there about 6. I would very much recommend this place and these two salesman to anyone, and the dealership is family friendly.

When my car was hit by another vehicle, I never thought I'd get all the insurance matters taken care of. It was an endless cycle of phone calls and leaving voice mails, and rarely getting to speak to a live person. Even my own insurance company wasted one morning sending me to get an estimate 30 minutes away, instead of telling me that the at fault party was supposed to handle it. I stopped by Akins for an estimate, and Keith (sorry, don't see him in the list of employees) was very helpful in pointing me in the right direction with handling the insurance. It still took a while to deal with the insurance, and I called Keith a few times with questions. He was always courteous and professional. Finally, I got my car in to be repaired, and when Keith called me, a little over a week later, to tell me the car was ready, I should have known something was up when he said he wanted to see my face when I picked up my car. I will just say that Akins, and especially Keith, went above and beyond in taking care of my car, and I am more than happy! In addition to the repair work, they even washed my car before I picked it up! Thank you, Akins!

Girlfirend tried to buy $15k car with $5k down and fair credit qouted us 20% interest rate! and lowered it to 8.5% when the found out another dealer quoted 9% and we had left. She bought $17.5k car at 9% from 5-star ford same day Sleazey way of doing business They preach family owned but that dosent mean family values Im buying a new truck at first of the year and it will not be from Akins at any price!
