Best car buying experience to date!

I recently purchased a Subaru Ascent and worked with Ben Rowan. His overall knowledge of the vehicle was very impressive. I started my research and narrowed my selection to two different brands. Upon arriving at Anchor, the dealership was clean, modern and welcoming. Ben approached us and welcomed us to the store. He listened to our needs and went over all the selling points of the vehicle with no pressure. We weren't ready to make a purchase that day, so Ben followed up but again, no pressure. We appreciated his relaxed approach. When we were ready to make our purchase, Ben walked us through the process without any issues. Everyone at Anchor knew their stuff and helped us through the buying process. I have to say it was night and day versus the other dealership that we visited and ultimately that helped us to decide on the Subaru. I was very happy with the whole process and plan on loving my Subaru for a long time! Thanks Ben!

I recently purchased a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek at Anchor. I worked with Ben Rowan. He made the process easy. He listened to what I wanted and coordinated the entire process. He showed me all available within the parameters I asked for and I made my choice. He answered all my questions and facilitated the entire process the way I needed it done. I can honestly say he made the daunting task of purchasing a vehicle much easier. I am now enjoying my nice new ride!

The folks at Anchor have been tremendous. My wife and I bought a Subaru Legacy & Forrester. At every step of the process - from salesmanship to financing to maintenance - Ben and Jean and everyone have been patient and knowledgeable and courteous. This was our first time buying cars and my first Subaru ever and I highly recommend this dealership.

Great Sales and Service at Anchor Subaru

Our recent purchase from Ben Rowan was a 2017 Legacy with just over 5000 miles. We got a great deal given all the bells and whistles that came with the car. The Legacy is sporty, 3.5 litre, and corners like it's on rails (cheap ripoff of Pretty Woman about a Lotus Esprit). Anyway, go there first (website). Do your research and come prepared. If you know what you want, Ben will get it for you. If you don't, Ben will ask you specifics to get you a car you need and deserve. This is our 8th car with Anchor Subaru and Nissan. Shoutout to Shar and Derek for making the car buying process so easy. We will be back!

2018 Subaru Legacy

Last year I purchased a 2018 Subaru Legacy V6 with all the bells and whistles. No problems until yesterday. Suddenly no radio, Bluetooth, navigation system or back up camera. After two hours of sitting around waiting for my car to be repaired, I was told that I need a new radio and it would be a 10 day wait. I asked if it could be express mailed to me overnight and was told NO there is a backlog on these systems. I feel this is totally unreasonable to have to wait 10 or more days for a car that has under 10,000 miles! This is my first experience purchasing a Subaru and I can adamantly say I will NEVER purchase another Subaru again!! Bob Moore

If your a female stay away from Shar

I bought a car from Scott and he seemed very nice but inexperienced. So a slimy sales manager by the name of Shar came over and at first did what most dealers do and drop the price just to get me to buy a car. The problem I had was from the beginning of meeting SHAR he I felt was hitting on me and making inappropriate sexual advances on me. I have sent a letter to the dealer but had no response. So I figured I would write this as a warning and sent a letter to Subaru themselves about this most unpleasant experience. Scott was fine but Again stay away from the sexist pig Shar.

Happy Driver!

I drive by Anchor Subaru everyday and one day I saw a Dodge van that caught my eye, yes I know the Dodge Caravan is not the newest SUV, sportiest car or everyone's cup of tea but I always loved my Caravans. I have owned two. Everyday I would drive by and that 2018 White Caravan was calling my name. I finally made time to stop in. As I parked my 2010 Toyota Rav 4 I knew what my budget was and what I expected for my Rav. It was deal time! Ben Rowan was the lucky guy to take me on my test drive in my old friend the Dodge Grand Caravan. I think it might have been his first ride in a Caravan. My fiance even joked about me wanting a VAN!! Ben was very professional, and friendly. We came to a deal on Tuesday April 30th. I love my new van and so do my grandchildren. The service I received was excellent. Even during negotiations I never felt pressured or bullied. I actually like negotiating and I had fun, which is a compliment. Thank you for a great experience. New Subaru owner

From our on-line inquiry to our purchase, everything was great! I had contact by email (phone if preferred) after my on-line inquiry about a certain vehicle which I was told was pending sale. My husband and I went in to see it because they did have another one like it expected that night or at lest the next day. We were greeted by Jorge Navarro and discussed why we were there. He let us look at the car that we were interested in that was on hold in the showroom and then let us drive a similar one. Well, we loved it so we talked a little and then we discussed coming in once the other one was there, and, just as we were leaving, it arrived! We had a look at it and we decided then - that was the car! Made an appointment for another drive and final sale paperwork within a couple of days and it is now ours! Jorge made us feel welcomed and he gave us a tour of the facility and every employee we encountered said hello to us, very friendly. The have a very comfortable waiting area with wi-fi, a few private offices if customers prefer to wait for repairs and can work remote, and they also offer shuttle service if in for any type of repair. Jorge filled up our tank for us and surprised us with some all-weather mats when I asked about ordering some! We are now part of the Subaru Family!

I had found a car I was interested in on the Anchor Subaru website. I requested a test drive online and when I showed up to test drive the vehicle, I met Mr. Navarro. He was very professional and greeted my mother and I at the door. I explained that i was there for a test drive. We were invited to sit at his cubicle while he looked up the information and got the car. He knew quite a bit about the var I was test driving.. I fell in love with the car, but at no time did I feel pressured into a sale. He was prompt in providing information as well as getting a fair trade in value for my old car, as well as settling any outstanding service bills. He made sure everything was well explained and took the greatest care in making sure I was buying a sage, reliable vehicle. Upon returning to pick up my new car, Mr. Navarror surprised me with a set of Subaru all weather floor mats! This little surprise certainly made my day! He made this entire process easy, from the test drive to the actual purchase. He professionalism is outstanding and his demor is kind and relatable. He certainly gave some fatherly advise about buying a car (he did also mention that he is a father), and I really was treated like respect, like I am family. I really appreciate what he did for me as well as being thoughtful about the little things. For example, he saved the keychain from my old set of car keys that my nephew had made me.

My partner has bought a few cars from Anchor Subaru and we have been very happy with the way everything was handled so when it came time for me to buy a new car, I went to Anchor and worked with Bill Lee. He showed that he had a lot of knowledge of the vehicle and took time with me to explain all the new technology. My last vehicle was a 2007 Subaru Forester. Disappointed

Found the car I wanted here. Everything was going fine until after the purchase where it was made obvious that as soon as I signed the papers, I didn’t exist. I had mentioned the car would pass Mass inspection due to dry rot tires. They said it passed in RI and RI is harder to pass which is completely untrue. So, needless to say, I had to purchase tires to get a sticker. Then about 2 months after purchase, the battery died. Fortunately, it was under warranty. While these little things are a small matter, I do not feel valued as a customer as the GM has ignored my issues and that has left a sour taste and I will never buy or recommend anyone buy from them again
