Worse service I've had in years

The salesman who set up an appointment with me was late, so I had to go on test drive with another guy. Then my salesman came, was not very polite, and didn't even apologize for being here late. After a short conversation, I told him to tell me the price and give me few days to consider. He suddenly told me that he would not tell me the actual price (with discount when buying) until I promise to buy it right now. The guy is trying to sell me a car, and I tell him that I'll buy only if your car is cheaper from the audi dealership 25mi away.... He said in a very impolite manner: "I would not waste my time if you're not serious about buying it". Seriously, why would I drive all the way, 50 miles, to your dealership if I'm not serious about buying? "I'm serious about buying, but WHAT makes you think that I would buy your car if you wouldn't even tell me the actual price?" I asked. He said very annoyingly: "I would not waste my time if you're not serious about buying it" He then added: "I know you want our cars because otherwise you wouldn't have come here in the first place." in a way as if I'm asking him for a favor. I simply walked away, drove another 25 or 30miles, and bought my audi from the other dealership there. I came here not for you, but for the cars. And with this kind of service, you don't deserve my $$. And now this guy still keep calling me, asking me if I still want their car........ If you(the guy I'm talking about) are reading this review right now, I hope you know that customers would not buy your product if you don't change your bad attitude, even if your product is cheaper.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Mom and Pop shop

I bought my Audi in 6 months back and this rating is for same. I wont spend time writing about them, but the only thing that people care here is fooling the customer, to the extent that they wont feel guilty of submitting the customer survey on customer behalf. Worst ever experience dealing with the folks out here.

Worse Dealership ever.

Took my 2009 Audi convertible in when it was new for roof motor issues (roof wouldn't Close) and after the service was completed 3 days later I went out on a drive with the service tech manager. While the service manager was behind the wheel he slammed a speed bump driving far to fast and put blasters on my brand new Michelin Pilot Sports front tires rendering them ruined. I was unable to drive my car home so they let me use a loaner car. An argument ensued because Livermore Audi would not replace the tires they ruined explaining, I would have to pay for them. Leaving me no discourse I had spend another $800.00 replacing my brand new Michelin Pilot Sports with 2 more brand new Michelin Pilot Sports. 1 week after I got my car home my roof was stuck again..... I would never in a million years recommend these idiots to anybody in fact, I feel they should be closed down. Come on Audi you guys can do better than this.

Poor, POOR, customer service-be aware

Purchased an A4, S-line in August 2015. My car is garaged, rarely used, less than 12k miles on it. I took it in initially for a recall on the climate control and I also reported a loud noise (like when you have the back windows down 1/3 of the way, going 50-60mph). The dx was all 4 tires were "cupping"--which was the cause of the loud noise, they checked the alignment--which was good. According to my service advisor, he recommended that all 4 tires be replaced. To my dismay, they only replaced the front tires, kept the rear "cupping" tires. I still hear the noise, which I reported several times to my service advisor who said the service manager said to tell me the front tires were replaced as a "courtesy". They won't return my call...period. For the price I paid for that car, they should be bending over backwards. I will never purchase from them again, nor recommend them, or Audi EVER. I am going to sell it so I don't have to deal with their snobby, better than thou attitude and poor customer retention efforts.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Love Livermore Audi!

I bought my A4 here and get it serviced here as well. The customer service is outstanding and I highly recommend Livermore Audi if you are thinking of purchasing a car. I shopped around at some of the other dealerships (Concord and Steven's Creek Audi) and they just didn't match the care and service I got at the Livermore location. I've had my car for 6 years now and it's working great!

Tried again to purchase a car using our Capital One (no restrictions Blue) check and was told we had to fill out a credit application. They told us on the phone they accept the check but when we got there they changed their story. We drove 2 hours for nothing. Another dealer trying to attach a back up loan just in case the check doesn't go through. Another scammer! We just got up and left.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Brought my 1998 A6 2.8 in right after I bought the car...

Brought my 1998 A6 2.8 in right after I bought the car used. As I did not have any records, I wanted to get all the fluids changed and the car checked out to insure that the PO had performed all the recall work. Two days before my appointment the front drivers door speaker started acting up. Added that to the list. The one record I did have was that the air cleaner has been changed right before I bought he car, I asked that this be dropped from the service.

Got a call that night and was told that all three differentials where leaking, so told them to so the reseal. That the front speaker is blown and they want $375 for just the one, I figure I can go to the aftermarket for much less so instruct them not to work on it.

Got the car back two days later, and as I go to file the receipt I notice I was charged for the filter, no big deal point it out and am told they will send me check.

The next weekend comes and I pull the blown speaker and it looks great, just for kicks as I am pulling the passenger side unit, I plug that blow speaker in. Works like a champ.

I then decide to check things out further, put the car up and notice the rear diff is still leaking.

Back to the dealer, the Service manager calling in the tech who tells me blown speakers are coming, and that is what it sounded like to him. Look at my receipt and that wisdom took him an hour to come buy. In fact he took 30 seconds, did not get it right, and when his error was pointed out, did not care. Offer of well bring it back we will look at it for you, you’ve paid for that first hour of labor but after that you’ll have to start paying again. Thanks but no thanks.

They did correct the leaking dif, said it was a defective seal. My bet is the tech was rushing to get the job out fast and damaged the seal when he was installing it.

My impression is they are very aggressive at playing the mechanic game, booking out jobs at the book time, then getting them done much faster. That way the tech is billing you for the same hour he is billing someone else. Not a problem in my book, as long as the work is done right.

I've bought 4 Audi's from Livermore Audi in the past 5 years. The Sales team is good, based upon my experience, which is mainly with Mark Fleming and David Levine. I've seen 4 Audi service advisors come and go - and this is their weak spot. Twice now they've done service which did not fix the problem, and had to re-do it at my expense (for a vehicle out of warranty). I just think they are swamped by Audi's increased market share, and find trouble getting good service techs. Mike Walsh (GM) who with a partner now owns Audi dealership in Oakland is as straight as they get.

I would recommend this dealer.

New 2001 audi a4 1.8t quattro purchased at Livermore audi-sales person david bur...he was nice.
first problem was 1 wk later tach broke and noisy brakes. burke was the service adviser. brakes have been a problem to this day. i bought a lemon and should have used the lemon law i think it's too late now even though i have the reciepts to prove it. burke mangabay and livermore audi should be spied on. after taking my new audi in every 2-3 mo for service for reaccuring problems. i looked back all my reciepts and noticed that i have a document w/ client Ms Houey dated 2/17/01 925-447-1100. who the...is that?
