Recommended unecessary service

Be very careful with their service department. They were quick to recommend unecessary services in addition to the initial problem. In the end they were unable to correct the initial problem and simply said that the engine needed to be replaced. Shows me that they are more concerned about generating revenue that helping the customer. Find yourself an good independent garage!

treated poorly and unfairly

Have gone to dealer for 12 years and was recently treated unfairly and poorly by management and asked to pay for, and accused of denting, a loaner car that had a pre-existing dent. Would not recommend based on my experience as a loyal customer.

The team was friendly, courteous and there was no pressure. Our salesperson, Patrick was great and meticulously followed up on everything in a timely manner. Even the people we did not work with were friendly. I did my homework and their prices were very competitive. They also secured my financing at a rate i could not beat. I could not have been more satisfied. I recommend Oneonta Audi/VW without reservation.

Bought a 2012 Volkswagen Eos from this dealership. The whole deal was done over the phone, which was a new experience for me. The salesman Brad, was very helpful and got back to me quickly whenever I needed anything. They also delivered the car to me at my job and picked up my trade in vehicle. The vehicle arrived in great condition. This was my first time dealing with this dealership and I can't think of anything negative to say. Overall an exceptional experience.

Expect to be treated like family!

I have always dreaded the car shopping experience however Brad changed my perception of leasing a new vehicle! My previous vehicle was a Mercedes GLK and the experience was awful. I could never get a hold of anyone, they treated me like a child, and just wanted me to sign on the dotted line and be done with me. Brad understood what I was looking for and delivered! He went out of his way to make sure I got everything I asked for, worked up a great price I was comfortable with and made the whole experience so enjoyable! He doesn't treat you like just another car sale, he truly loves what he does and builds a relationship with his customers- exceptional customer service. I'm already planning my next Audi with Brad!!

New Passat

I traded in my 2012 VW TDi "clean diesel" Golf. I really loved that car and was so proud of it's performance UNTIL! I bought it as an environmentalist and conservationist and can't tell you how hugely disappointed I am in VW. The dealership was sympathetic to my plight and understanding of my anger. I traded it in on a 2015 Passat just to get rid of the Golf. My sales representative Josh Brown was very patient, understanding, and was very helpful in follow up visits. He has helped me set up phone, Ipod, etc. Service folks at this dealership have been great as well. Hope VW gets its' act together, cause I really like their products.

I recently purchased a 2015 Audi A3 from Audi VW Oneonta. Josh Brown sold me the vehicle and he was, professional, conscientious, and polite. He was very low pressure through the process and I didn't feel any of that sales pressure that you worry about when shopping for a vehicle. The negotiations were straight forward and he didn't unnecessarily waste my time. Lease new car

I visited VW Oneonta for a service on my 08 Jetta and fell in love with the 2016 Golf Sportwagon, left thinking there was no way to "make it happen". After a few months of thought and much patience and helpful assistance from Josh Brown, I now have that 2016 Sportwagon. Josh was wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend him.

Horrible customer service

After having gone into the dealership FOUR times because the paperwork was wrong every time, we were double charged for our down payment on our credit card. When I called VW to have this fixed, the accountant was EXTREMELY rude to me and told me even if I brought the bank statement in to show her that we were double charged, that they would not refund me because they have proof they only charged us once. I can not count how many times I have been disappointed by the customer service from this dealership. I will never go back to them for anything and would warn anyone to stay away from this dealership.

Worth the trip from Albany & Capital Region

Made the trip out to Oneonta from Albany after dealing with Langan Audi East and their cold showroom antics and lack of professionalism. This experience aside I was still willing to pursue the Audi brand (had never owned an Audi previously) and made initial contact with Patrick Muller after exploring TrueCar discounts. The rest is history.... Patrick truly made the car buying experience worth while and really made me feel like he was putting me as a customer first. I told him the model, color, features, and price range I would like and he did all the legwork. He even followed through with all of the applicable discounts and incentives through Audi and left me feeling stress free and relaxed about car purchasing. I cannot believe that I almost walked away from the Audi brand after a horrible experience at Langan. I love the new car and Audi has proven to me that Ingolstadt is engineering the best cars in Bavaria and Germany (looking at you BMW). Audi has proven to me that "Vorsprung durch Technik" is not some cliche corporate slogan, these machines are a thing of beauty. All I can say is that if you are from the Albany, NY/ Capital Region area and are interested in purchasing an Audi do not even bother with Langan. Go to Audi Oneonta and speak with Patrick. You will not look back or regret the decision. Truly a top notch dealer who remembers that you are the customer and that you should be happy with what you are purchasing. Will happily return here for servicing and future Audi purchases.

I have purchased my last nine luxury cars from the same dealer and was loyal and satisfied. When I leased a new VW Passat TDI SEL at Oneonta VW Audi I was amazed with the professionalism of salesman Mitch Miljavic and Manager David Smith. The were outstandingly well informed and most helpful to me. They gave me a great deal and made certain modifications which I requested. I have had the car for two weeks now and love it...everything they said about the car was true and then some... they came through on every promise they made. Mitch, David and Seth carefully explained all of the features of the car that were new to me and were extremely generous with their time. I spoke with two technicians in the service area and they also were helpful and expert. I know very little concerning the technical aspects of cars so I always value a dealership with high concern for client satisfaction, integrity and dependability. I know that I have found these qualities at Oneonta Audi VW and plan to bring all my automotive needs and concerns here. Do you remember that move, Vacation, when Chevy Chase is going to pick up his new car, but instead of the sports car the dealer promised, they stick him with the Family Truckster? Well, that dealership was probably Audi of Oneonta. They didn't just *promise* a certain deal, we had a "binding purchase agreement" duly signed by chris, the Sales Manager. didn't matter. A few weeks later they called to say we'd have to sign a new agreement with a higher price. No, really!! (Could I have called and demanded they sign a new contract with the price lowered?!?) Thought the Gen. Manager would honor the original, signed deal, but no luck. We had to demand our earnest money back. Just know that a contract with these jokers is "legally binding" on you, but not them...

I would not recommend this dealer.
