Service department issues

I brought my car in for the airbag recall. There were no warning lights on, but I was told to replace the airbag. I took the car home after the airbag replacement and the next time I started the car, the dashboard airbag warning light was on. I called the dealer and they said despite just working on that very item that had no warning light on prior to their working on the item, it was something else. They want money to “fix” the airbag warning light on the airbag they just installed.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Taking months to resolve turn in lease issues.

Charged a fee for late lease turn in, even though dealer told me there would be no problem, as I was waiting for new Audi. UPDATE: Tor from the dealership, did ultimately resolve this issue, by refunding all dollars due as per our original agreement. While I still feel put upon, having to have spent many hours over the course of 4 months and a lot of energy on the issue, the dealership did send a check, once a poor rating was posted. Tor offered me a free car detailing, in addition to the check, for my aggravation. Still my last Audi, so not worth the lost peace of mind.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Love my experience with the Audi service team as well, which made me decide for a second Audi over a Volvo to begin with. Of course, love my new Q5! Karel de Boer, East Hampton

Fantastic Experience at Audi Southampton with Tim Channing

I just wrapped up my car search with a purchase at Audi Southampton. We visited the dealership a number of times over the past 3 months. The service we received from the sales associate, Tim Channing, was the best service we received from any individual at any dealership that we walked into. Tim was honest, responsive, helpful, informative, and provided just a fantastic experience from start (shopping for a car) through purchase and a teaching session to actually learn how to use all of the options in the car. As long as the dealership allows him to be competitive on price, I see no reason to ever buy a car from anyone other than Tim; his service was absolutely top notch.

This time Jason Smith guided me through the process of ordering and delivering my specially ordered Q3. Every promise he made was kept, he is truly a professional and very attentive salesman. Now I am looking forward to work with their impeccable service team, Kristen Horn and Frank Catanzaro, who for years have made my service stops so easy and pleasurable with their profound knowledge and immediate attention.

Have leased 9 Audi vehicles from Audi Southampton, the last 4 being A8s from Brian. Without question, Brian is a true professional and makes the entire lease/purchase process simple and "undramatic." And if things go array (such as when my factory order was held up due to an allocation freeze), Brian and his manager Torr went above and beyond finding a way to get an open build allocation and deliver the exact car I ordered. On the service side---Frank, Kristen and John are terrific and always treat my wife and Myself like family...These folks are all truly exceptional.

We recently purchased a 2016 q5 from Southampton Audi. Tim Channing was our sales person. We live in Dix Hills so we initially went to Huntington Audi followed by Smithtown Audi. We did a test drive in Huntington and really liked the car. We were given a price at Hungtington but the salesperson was so busy that we needed to come back during the week to complete the deal. In the meantime, I contacted Southampton Audi by email. Tim wrote me back and his offer was what we wanted to pay without any going back and forth to the "dealer manager" to get the best price for us. It was the most straightforward way to buy a car. I kept thinking that something was going to go wrong but it was a great buying experience. I would highly recommend this dealership along with Tim Channing to work with. Even though it was an hour's drive from our house to pick up the car, I would do it every time to have that kind of service and honesty. Thanks again !!!

I purchased an Audi A8 from Brian today and could not be more pleased with my overall experience. Both Brian and Torr, the sales manager, were highly professional and very kind. I had priced the same vehicle at several other locations and after talking to Brian the price I was given was extremely competitive and I remain very satisfied. I have been servicing my other Audi cars there for years and I cannot say enough about the service experience there as well, John Knapp and Kristen Horn go far out of their way to make my family feel welcome and always tend to my cars within minutes of my arrival, even if I walk in with a small issue or question, they are more than happy to help always. I would not hesitate to do business with Audi of Southampton in the future and I have also recommended Brian to family and friends who have been equally impressed and pleased!

I have used Audi Southampton for service on numerous occassions over the past few months. I purchased my A4 elsewhere, but this dealership is right near my job, and certainly more convenient. Chris and Kristen in the service department are both wonderful. They are friendly, accomadating, informative and always helpful. A Q5 loaner is always provided, and always with a full tank of gas. Whenever service or warranty work is completed, my car is presented to me clean, and the work properly explained. I will be purchasing a new Audi in the next few months, and based on the service I have received thus far, I will certainly be purchasing from Audi Southampton.

After a particularly frustrating experience at another dealership, I needed service done and choose AUDI of SOUTHAMPTON. This was actually my second visit with them. Overall, I had a very good experience: I found them friendly, welcoming, helpful and honest. Kristen Horn, the service manager, was very much on top of things and contributed heavily to making the whole experience extremely pleasant. They gave a full list of items needed to be addressed, from necessary to recommended to suggested, without pushing for some of the non-crucial items. Actually, they offered to address a couple of cosmetic issues at cost, without charging for labor. Even if those were small/quick fixes, it felt refreshing to feel treated right and nicely. Loaner car was offered, a brand new Q5. I couldn't come back the day the car was ready, no problem, they let me keep the loaner car for an extra few days without difficulty. During that time, i received propmotional coupons that you are supposed to present at the time you drop the car, no problem, I faxed them over and they were applied to the job. I got the car back and everything is fine. Small plus: they now accept American Express
