Follow up to my original submission - Auto Gallery Mitsubish

By Nomomoney on 9/9/2017 at 12:12 AM. Helped by Chris Amato (finance manager), Larry Romeo (sales manager), Jackie (telephone receptionist).

This is a follow up to my initial (rather lengthy) posting of the aforementioned dealership. It took us 2 weeks from the initial purchase, for the dealership to supply 3 documents: copy of the title, VIN verification and smog check, to send them to our credit union. During that time, the dealership faxed a demand letter to my credit union, for the payoff check for the vehicle. Really? a demand letter, when the dealership was supposed to with "due diligence" send the documents to my credit union? The only saving grace was that the dealership did keep their promise by not defaulting to another lender for the vehicle loan. I will say they were pretty good about that. Chris Amato is an upstanding finance manager and was true to his word. Thank you Chris. However, from an overall general standpoint, I do not recommend going to this dealership. Their customer service is horrible, the other employees refuse to take ownership for responsibility of other employees and almost everyone points the fingers at their co workers when their are delays in the transactions. Sorry Auto Gallery of Mitsubishi, but you only get 1 star.

I would not recommend this dealer.

I'll let you decide re: this dealer and our experience

By Nomomoney on 9/1/2017 at 1:55 AM. Helped by Chris Amato (finance manager), Larry Romeo (sales manager), Jackie (telephone receptionist).

Our son found a vehicle he wanted at this dealership. He was pre-qualified for a loan through his credit union and went back to the dealership to purchase the car. He did not have a check in hand, so he completed an "optional contract" which we were ok with, since the dealership got him qualified through Wells Fargo. The dealer did not disclose the fact this vehicle was obtained out of state and our credit union required a certificate of title, VIN verification and a smog certification. After calling the dealer several times with no response, we decided to drive to the dealer (an hour away) and met with an alternate finance manager, who was hesitant to assist us, since he was not the original finance manager and claimed that he could not help us. We were then referred to one of the sales manager. We learned the finance manager (Chris, who was very friendly and knowledgeable) who first assisted us, sent the smog certificate to our credit union. The sales manager was able to contact their VIN verification specialist and we paid the $20.00 fee out of our pocket. This document was faxed to our credit union. A day later, the third document, certificate of title had not yet been sent to our credit union. We called the dealership to find out the progress of locating this document, only to learn the sales manager was off for the next 2 - 3 days. We tried to contact another manager, but the telephone receptionist (Jackie) was not helpful and in short, refused to connect us with any on duty salesman, manager or supervisor, or owner. The sales manager promised he would extend the default loan procedure and assured us he wanted us to be satisfied by allowing us to finance the vehicle through our credit union. We have left several messages, requesting any employee from the dealership contact us with any update, but at the writing of this review, we have yet to hear from any employee at the dealership. The sale process at this point has been one week. It is my intention to add to this review or create a new review, once this adventure is completed and I will make a final rating determination. I apologize for the length of this review, but I wanted to articulate the "adventure" we have been experiencing.

I would not recommend this dealer.

WORST RUN DEALERSHIP & MANAGEMENT EVER

By Rebecca P on 6/28/2017 at 8:48 PM. Helped by GM, FM, SM and a salesman named Jose.

I can't possibly go into all the details of our experience. We came to buy a used car and we were in the process of that transaction when everything went sideways. Everything took way longer than it should of. Every question we asked and clarity we sought was met with rudeness and condescending behavior. When managers approached us they never introduced themselves. We ended up dealing with the GM, whom never told us who she was and was increasingly rude, condescending, rolling her eyes, scoffing at us, laughing at us and raising her voice. We finally said we would not buy a car from then and then she said good we just want you to leave. At this point I still did not know she was the GM, we demanded to speak to the GM and to give us our credit app back which we had only minutes before handed over. She refused and told us to leave. Only after my husband threatened to call the police did we find out she was the GM. They would not give us our application back, even though she admitted she had not run our credit. She then started attacking me personally with insults. We finally left. We were offended and appalled at the horrific behavior of this dealership. Never have I dealt with upper management that was so unprofessional. I can only guess that she must be related to the owner because she has multiple bad reviews online describing her as condescending and rude. Furthermore, after posting a Yelp review, the customer service person who contacted me privately was equally appalling. Blaming me, insulting me, and being condescending and rude again, only proving my point! Horrible, horrible experience!

I would not recommend this dealer.
