buying my vehicle was fine, it is the service department.

By skippy627 on 2/7/2017 at 7:18 PM. Helped by Dustin Nelson.

I bought my fiat in nov. and a month later I had an oil leak so I took it to the service dept and they said it was engine dressing. I still had the problem and called to take back and at that time they had no fiat technician and could not schedule me. They should have fixed it the first times I was there. I had to take my car to Mountain Valley in Blue Ridge which is two hours from my home. They found the problem and fixed my car. I had to leave it there for a week, but they got me a rental car. Next time I will buy my Fiat there.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Bait and Switch

By AMcDaniel2014 on 12/1/2014 at 5:37 PM. Helped by Martel Williams.

Last year, my husband and I were looking to buy our first car together. We had done a lot of research and drove over an hour to AutoNation Fiat at the Mall of Georgia to see a Milan at a good deal. I had loved a Malibu but humored my husband, who liked the safety of the Milan better. We were welcomed and shown around by Martel, who seemed very nice. Meanwhile, his supervisor was bellowing at another employee in his office (should have been our first red flag). When it got to negotiations, I fought it. I wanted the Malibu from the other dealer so Martel got to working. He and his supervisor went back and forth until they had sweetened the deal by getting us a lower interest rate than our lender and offering us the gold warranty. Since it was a family car and we had planned a family road trip to Colorado before my husband deployed, I knew that a basically bumper-to-bumper warranty on a used car at a discount was a huge deal so I gave in. However, at the signature, the warranties were switched. Shame on me for not rereading the paperwork (I read it at presentation but not after the copies were supposedly made) and we signed a bronze warranty instead. I decided to just eat that mistake, once discovered, because it was a rookie mistake. But it has now been discovered that my 60,000 mile warranty was until my car reached that number, not when we had owned it/driven it for 60,000 miles so I paid all that extra money for a 12,000 mile warranty. Do not trust this dealership. Anyone willing to take advantage of a young military couple is willing to take advantage of you.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Bait and switch

By Katwmn618 on 9/20/2014 at 2:15 AM. Helped by Staff and Management.

Beware of a scheme to get your money. This dealership will tell you they can work with your budget, lend you the car, then have you come in to sign papers. At that time, they will tell you that they can't sell you the car for the agreed price. And they will not budge for any customer. We walked. Don't fall victim to their sly ways and fake kindness. They are all about the money, and they use the 'borrow it' routine to make a car grow in you that you didn't even initially want. Trust me, I overheard a staff meeting.

I had the best experience at this dealership. Martel showed the car to us and knew all the information about the car and took the time to explain how all the features worked, and once the sale was completed, walked me out and checked over the car and showed me how everything worked before I drove off. Kevin is the GM there and was very helpful in showing us different options and being very upfront about the sale. Car shopping can be so nerve wrecking, and it is nice when you can have a great experience and leave totally satisfied. We will definitely be recommending them to our friends.

Went to the dealership looking for a used 500 Sport, been a very pleasant experience - from start to the finish. Our salesman was Chris Hall, and he made sure we were happy with the car, and price. If you are looking for a hassle-free car buying experience, I'd recommend these guys. Cheers to Chris Hall, and everybody else at the AutoNation Fiat. Shalini & Nishanth

By dweaver22 on 6/26/2013 at 2:12 AM. Helped by Chris Hall.

This was far and away the best auto purchase I ever experienced. I called on a used Prius that I saw on Craigslist. It turns out that the car was sold over 1-mos ago. Chris asked me my price range, checked his inventory and found the make, model and year within my price range. Chris e-mailed me the carfax report. He then went out and took pictures of the vehicle and both e-mailed and texted me the pictures. He then proceeded to make sure that it was a non-smoker car at my request. When I arrived to look at the car the next day he had it in detail and they guys that detailed the car did an outstanding job. Chris put no pressure on me during the whole process. He simply found what I was looking for and provided exceptional customer service the whole way through. I will likely come back to Chris in the future when I purchase used cars for my children. THIS WAS A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE THANKS TO CHRIS!!

I would recommend this dealer.

By brelado on 6/16/2013 at 1:35 AM. Helped by Chris Hall, John Nowack.

I had initially visited the dealership a few months ago to have a stolen emblem replaced on my vehicle, a 500 Sport. They were so nice to work with that I left my prior dealership, who had not been truthful about the availability of a replacement emblem, and took my business to Autonation (then Team). I expressed interest in the new 500L and asked to be on the notification list as soon as they arrived. I was contacted prior to the arrival and given an approximate date, then contacted again a few days prior to arrival, then again to confirm they were at the dealer. All of these calls were from Chris. During the last call, he took the time to run down the inventory, telling me options on each vehicle, colors, etc, one of which matched the vehicle in the online demos. I made an appt to visit the showroom within 2 days. When I arrived, I was re-introduced to John, the tech-savvy car loving member of the team. He had taken a vehicle around the night before to learn features, etc, and took the time to show everything to me. We went on a test drive and actually didn't talk that much about the car, which to me was a bonus. It gave me the chance to experience the car for myself rather than having someone badgering me with info. After getting back to the dealership, I was left alone with the car, again a bonus. I took quite a lot of time looking at the car, and also in another color, to decide which way I wanted to go. Once ready, I asked to get the trade in value of my car, and though it took a little longer than I would have ideally preferred, I finally got a number. While my price was probably not the best I could have gotten, I was willing to pay a little more to be sure I got the vehicle I wanted. My only issue, and this is not necessarily the dealership 100%, is that very little info is available on the car -- from Fiat. The VIN number was nowhere to be found in any system, no listing of other options available, no way to special order, nothing. The one item I do regret not getting is the exact wheels that I would like. Fiat has not made it easy to change wheels or special order the wheels I would like. The dealership is great, though -- much more laid back than others I have dealt with in the past. I am recommending it to others.

I would recommend this dealer.

The staff at AutoNation FIAT Mall of Georgia is fantastic!! We went in looking at the FIAT 500 POP and found John Nowak, He had every answer to every question that we had. He even had answers to questions that we had not thought of yet! We never felt rushed or pressured in anyway. They went out of their way to make sure that we were completely comfortable with all the numbers that we were looking at. They even found us the best deal possible. We thought we that the deal was a go and Wesley Kim in the financial department was able to get us a lower interest rate!! How awesome is that!! The amount of personal attention you get in this dealership is unbelievable.

By goldsch150 on 3/18/2013 at 12:51 PM. Helped by John Nwak (good) salesman, Billy Peters (sales manager) stay away!!.

I purchased a Fiat from Fiat Mall of Georgia. I talked to my salesman on the phone. He was very nice and gave me the attention I wanted in order to work a deal. He was receptive to my concerns and situation. However, the problem arose when the sales manager got involved. I initially told them I wanted the best deal possible on a Fiat 500 pop. I was open to having a demo with less than 100 miles if it was cheaper than the new car. However, I also asked them to give me prices on both. After some negotiation, I was given a price of 13,500 for a Pop demo with 80 miles on it 13,799 for a new Pop. At that point I then asked if I qualified for the veteran rebate since I do not like to play all my cards up front to ensure I get the best deal. They asked me a few questions and the sales manager Billy stated I was not eligible for the veteran rebate (of 500 dollars). It is important to note because if I was eligible for the rebate, that would have made the new car cheaper by 200 dollars. I chose the demo, at that point because it was the cheaper vehicle. I did not take delivery on the vehicle that day because I had no time to wait around for the vehicle. So I left a deposit and filled out the paperwork. So they agreed to allow me to take delivery of the vehicle the following Saturday. Well, for some reason, I decided to call Fiat to inquire about the military rebate to be sure. Well after spending about 5 minutes on the phone with Fiat's national customer service line, they informed me I was in fact eligible for the rebate. So I called my salesman and let him know his sales manager (Billy) was wrong about the rebate and I would like to switch over to the new car we had also negotiated and just add the rebate. The salesman said that was fine and we would take care of it on Saturday when I arrived for delivery of the vehicle. Well, Saturday came and I found my salesman shortly after arriving at the dealership. He sat me down at his desk and let me know he was going to his sales manager to get the numbers on the new vehicle. Well, the salesman brought back the numbers from the sales manager and the deal for the new car was now 13,999 for the new car WITH THE REBATE added in. That is when everything got ugly. I told the salesman this is very much different than the deal presented last Sunday. And if they did not mess up and properly informed me that I was IN FACT eligible for the veteran rebate, I would have had a new car for 13, 299. So the sales man went and got the sales manager BILLY. He was immediately combative and tried to act like he was doing me a favor by allowing me to switch the deal for the demo vehicle since they already had a signed agreement on the that vehicle. I informed him that I was not stupid and in Georgia, deals are not final until I take delivery of the vehicle. And I informed the salesman I was personally insulted that his manager would pull something like that in an attempt to prey on people ignorant of the law. I asked Billy what the xxxx happened to the deal from Sunday. His response was, "Well, that was the deal I offered you on Sunday because I wanted to sell a car." So I said, "You are going to penalize me because you made a mistake on my eligibility for the veteran rebate?" He had no adequate response. Different day, different deal. Well, I left it up to my wife. She wanted me to just buy the demo and get it over with. I will say, that was the absolute worst car buying experience I have ever had and I will never go there again nor will I send anyone to that dealership unless some sort of concession is made. Fat chance on that though since I am still waiting on a bottle of touchup paint and the key protector covers they promised me. Stay away!!! I hear the dealership in the Buckhead area is far superior!!!

I would not recommend this dealer.

Well worth the drive from NW Florida to complete the transaction. I am in commercial real estate and do a lot of mostly local driving. My primary requirements were for an economical pre-owned vehicle that I would be happy to pull up to a client's place of business in. Chris Hall listened to my needs and overcame a couple challenges to get the deal done quickly and professionally. In my opinion, he delivered the perfect vehicle at the right price - a 2010 Honda LX-S that looked brand-new inside and out. The car and financing terms both exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Chris Hall to anyone looking for a vehicle!

By rsw2012 on 10/20/2012 at 1:52 AM. Helped by Chris Hall.

A friend saw a below-book-value 2011 Honda Pilot listed on eBay motors. I called up and talked to Chris and set a same-day appointment: Sunday afternoon at 4PM. My wife was working, so I had our two year-old and we drove our old SUV up there for trade-in. We were an hour late... 5PM, and they were scheduled to close at 6PM. The Pilot was exactly as advertised, like-new condition, except for seemingly more mileage on the tires than might be expected for 16k miles. We transferred the car seat and went for a test drive. Sold! Chris was friendly and accommodating as my daughter messed with things and nearly wrecked the paperwork a few times. Chris was able to match the rate we had checked elsewhere, and he did the paperwork and waited patiently as I had to text all the information to my wife, get proof of insurance faxed from USAA, etc. It took about 3 hours to finish everything because I had my girl to manage and because I had to relay information to my wife. 8PM... By this time, my daughter was climbing all over me and whining and making stray marks on the paperwork; it was nearly her bedtime and we were at least an hour from home. It was still raining (had been all day) and Chris went out and pulled my old car around back to help me transfer my stuff into the new car. My little girl and I were finally headed home in a (nearly) new car. 8:30PM ... I realized I had left my garage door opener in the trade-in car. I called Chris on his cell... he picked up and assured me he'd mail it to me. The next morning he mailed my garage door opener and also the parking permit I left hanging from the rearview mirror. Chris really smoothed everything out and made the otherwise crazy evening a success: we got the right car at the right price and no snags.

By rebelandduke on 9/28/2012 at 6:21 PM. Helped by John Nowak.

One of the absolute worst experiences! My mom and I went out to purchase 2 Fiats... I had extensively spoke with the dealership on line. I told them where I was at, what price range I wanted to be in and which car I wanted. I asked them if they could do it. "Yes! I've ran the numbers and we can make it work!" LONG story short they couldn't. 6+ hours up there and they INSISTED on separating my mother and I "to save on time". Had my mom in financing selling her all sorts of crap I already told them she didn't want. Then of course after they finished with her, somehow they couldn't get to me because the banks were closed. They would work on it first thing in the morning and we'd finish up the following day. NO returned emails, NO returned phone calls. So I went to Landmark Fiat of Atlanta and was in and out in 1 hour! Now we're fighting with Fiat Mall of Georgia because they screwed up my mom's paperwork. They couldn't even get the MODEL right on the papers! Mileage was different on all sheets, they left off the $1000 they were giving her for taking a car with 1,789 miles. They won't respond to her either. But luckily in their sloppy paperwork writing they FORGOT to have her SIGN the Retail Installment CONTRACT. So we're fighting to take this car back and she'll be purchasing one somewhere else!!! So unorganized, HORRIBLE customer service, Massive lack of knowledge. And big time sneaky crooks!!! Bad, BAD dealership!!!!!

By russh1978 on 8/22/2012 at 3:02 PM. Helped by Craig Bogart, Michael Battle, Mike Hall.

Went to Team FIAT to see the the 500 up close. Was looking for a commuter car and was interested to see what FIAT had to offer. Met by Michael Battle who was very friendly and let me test drive the car. I was impressed with the FIAT so I went inside and I gave him some info on my trade. He came back with some numbers on my trade that were pretty much ridiculous. Mike Hall (sales manager) was very nice but evidently didn't think I was serious and said that if I was really serious, maybe he could get me more for my trade. The next day I received a call from Michael Battle stating that they were able to get me more for my trade and to come to the dealership and we would work something out. I went up the following evening and Mike Hall had handed the information over to Craig Bogart (another sales manager I assume) as he had to leave for the day. Basically, Craig didn't offer me any more on my trade than Mike offered initially and he told me that I was going to have to "take a bath" on my trade. He proceeded to tell me that my model car was one that rental car companies used and the market was flooded with them making them have very poor trade in and resale value. I had done my research and knew that this was a bunch of BS. Furthermore, he said that there was no markup in FIATs and that he could not discount his vehicle at all. Needless to say, I left the dealership extremely disgusted. The next day I did some research and found that Landmark FIAT in Doraville had almost the exact same FIAT that I was interested in except it had more options and a higher sticker price. I emailed the internet sales manager, told him the car I was interested in and gave him the info on my trade. Immediately, he emailed me back with a figure that was $2,500 more than what I was offered at Team. I drove up the next day and ended up purchasing a FIAT with more options for over $1,300 less than Team. After getting $2,500 more for my trade, this was a difference of $3,800. This is huge in my book...especially when you are talking about a transaction under $20,000. I was absolutely astounded that I had been taken for such a fool at Team. Landmark's staff was super. I am a person that will give credit where credit is due but when I have been taken for a complete idiot, I will let everyone know. The only thing that is unfortunate is that Michael Battle was a very nice sales person but this means nothing when management doesn't have it together. So for the best deal and stellar customer service, I recommend Landmark FIAT if you are in the market for a new FIAT 500.

I went into this dealership with my expectations low. I was about to purchase my second vehicle. I had a terrible experience buying my first car (from a different dealership) and assumed this experience wouldn't be much different. I was looking for a Scion TC and they had two of them at their dealership. I went, and fell in love with the first one that I test drove. They were incredibly negotiable on the price, and made my second car buying experience a very good one! They also gave me a very good trade in value for my first car. Craig made me feel comfortable, and actually cares about people, not just selling cars. I am certain that he would be there to answer any questions I may have in the future. I will definitely be sending my friend's to FIAT Mall of Georgia, and I will recommend they see Craig!

A couple of months later I went to Team Fiat Mall of Georgia. I was pleasantly surprised how easy Craig made the trade with my Hyundai. I am very happy with my new Fiat and it saves alot on gas!! I would definitly recommend this dealership and The Sales Manager was great.
