Best experience purchasing a vehicle

Greg Collins was is the most patient sales person, I looked at so many cars and said yes this is it, then changed my mind, I don't really like that. Until finally I found the one. There was never any pressure all he said when I finally picked the one was "lets do this! Thank you Greg and Drew for all of your hard work. Jasmin

Long-time customer: Ignored by Service Dept. Reps

Took my car in today for the routine oil-change, and none of the three employees standing in the service corridor bothered to greet me, ask what I needed done, nor did they move previous cars forward in the services lane causing me and two others behind me to leave our cars parked in an intersection (there was enough lane space for three cars to move into the service bay!). Three employees standing the service area, talking to each other and doing nothing else! Went inside on my own to get a service rep. After telling the CSR at counter what I needed done, she told me to wait on a service rep. Only one available, and he was fairly disorganized - he was trying to process paperwork on a completed repair, and kept walking away to find out what to do with the paperwork. Still the three employees in the service area loitering around and no one tried to assist me. After 20 minutes of waiting to be helped, I decided to leave. Will go to local independent from now on. This used to be a good service center, but they just lost a nine-year customer relationship.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Great to deal with.

Just bought a 2012 E350 through salesman Gio. Couldn't be happier. Took my old van in for repairs and happened to see this one on the lot. Used what I would have paid for repairs to the old one for a deposit on the 2012 and a day later drove it off the lot. Gio was very pleasant to deal with. Harry in finance was great too. Honestly it was fast and easy. I've had my other vans serviced here in years past and they've always done a great job. A bit pricey but the work is top notch and they've always been straight shooters with me. Everyone I dealt with at this place has been super nice. Thank you!

Service department

Dropped off my vehicle (Diesel F250) for diagnostic, after 2 days there, they had my vehicle in the shop. Technician determined turbocharger needed to be tested out of the vehicle to determine if the turbo was indeed bad or could be serviced. They scanned my vehicle and tested it in under one hour. When I paid the bill I was charged for two hour labor even tough they did not work on my truck for two hours. Service manager told me that is standard charge diesel maintenance, even if they work on it for one hour they will charge you two hours. In my case they did not even give me a definitive diagnostic and/or total price for the fix since the turbo would have to come out. After the diagnostic I was told the money I paid for diagnostic would not go towards the fix the vehicle needed if I did decide to fix it there. I have never heard of the policy with any other dealership. I paid close to $300 and was on my way, very little will to make me content as a customer. On a second visit (I also own a 2012 Ford focus and Ford has a recall for the vehicle transmission). Drove vehicle in and was told it would be four, let me repeat, four weeks before they could even diagnose it to check and see if it would fall under the warranty/recall. I was told to wait four weeks and they would let me know. They did do a door lock actuator recall on the Focus while it was there, but not because they checked their system for all the recalls/ extended warranties and were proactive about having everything done. I actually had to call the service adviser and advise him that the door lock actuator also had issues and a recall. At least that was done in a reasonable time frame Service adviser was friendly but not a lot of help.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Very, Very Poor Service (Be Aware)

I will never get my car serviced here again, not even for a simple oil change. I got my Evap Canister replaced at this location a few weeks ago and it costs me $500 (it would have cost me more if I did not price match their quoted price for the parts with http://www.fordautoparts.com- Yes, they will charge you 100% cost for parts even if its discounted on the Ford Part's website, don't let them play you). About a week later, I come back in because I needed an oil change and had also noticed my check engine light came on, which has never happened before. I was told it would cost $140 diagnostics fee just for them to tell me whats wrong with it, even though they just serviced my car the week before. I ended up going to Auto zone for a free test and sure enough I had a small leak in my Evap Canister. I came back in and brought the report to the service manager's attention. He told me I paid for parts and labor only, and that I didn't pay to ensure that the parts they replaced were in proper place or working properly (this thew me off guard and made me wonder why I even paid for their service to begin with). He said this was part of their business model and that he couldn't help me without paying a diagnostics fee. He still wasn't understanding or willing to go back and fix anything even though I told him what the issue was (which was related to the service they provided); not even after I already spent alot of money for them to get the job done correctly. I brought my car to this location to get it done professional and correctly, and yet, I am still disappointed about the horrible service. Not only do they halfway do the job, they also have very poor customer service. They do nothing exceptional to make sure you leave with a better experience. It would have been nice of them if they could have simply fixed the very small leak on my Evap Canister because I didn't have a leak prior to bringing it to them. They are very unfair! I wouldn't be surprised if they caused this leak themselves just to get me in their shop spending more money. Save yourself the stress and take your money somewhere else where you will be taken care of, valued as a customer and treated with the nothing less than great customer service. Ford Autonation on Cobb Parkway is not worth it, don't even think about it or regret it later.

Fantastic experience

I bought my first car recently at AutoNation Ford in Marietta. My family has entrusted this dealership in the purchase of many new Fords because of the outstanding Greg Collins and Jeff Cohen, who were very accomadating and helpful in the process. Buying a car for the first time can be pretty nerve wracking, but I was put to ease as soon as I got to AutoNation. I can't speak highly enough of Greg Collins and the experience I had buying my car.

I think this is the 6th or 7th car we have purchased under the guidance of Greg Collins. He feels like family to us. We have come to him in several modes: undecided...rushed...no money to put down...child attempting to be a first time car buyer and he has taken care of us with such honest care. We are a Ford family to begin with and he is a shining example that there are car dealerships with people there who actually think like they are in your shoes. When I crashed my first beloved Fusion (which LITERALLY saved my life so I knew I needed to buy another) Greg took care of everything and I just showed up and drove away. This is what happens when you establish a relationship with someone you trust. And what really hit me like a ton of bricks is that I rushed in there and found him personally wiping down the side boards when I walked in. A long time after I am pretty sure he should have been home with his family. He is just good people

Finally found a dealer I like

I want to compliment Chris Jacques, Hal King, and the rest of the team at AutoNation Ford Marietta. Like many car buyers I had experienced some bad customer service, I had walked out of 5 dealership of various brands and had dealt with 4 others online, 2 texting and one the phone. The team at AutoNation Ford Marietta was the first and only to respond to my email quickly and answered my questions upfront. When I had agreed on a car and negotiated price they honored that exact price; other dealers pulled a bait and switch, changed the price, added strange fees, and claimed the car was no longer available etc…. Most would not answer a simple question and held me there for hours. Before I went into AutoNation Ford Marietta another dealership offered the same car at a few hundred dollars less, but since the other dealership had treated me poorly the first time I dealt with them, I chose to give AutoNation Ford Marietta a try. Not only did I buy a car at AutoNation Ford Marietta, they gave me the price of the other dealership. (P.S. I would have bought the car even without them matching the other dealer just because they were upfront with everything.) The process was quick and relatively easy. They will always get my business from now on. Thank You!!!

Lady Q, Meets You Where You Need Her

Quiowa, or Lady Q as I like to call her, made our car buying experience more like buying from a friend than a sales person. She never tried to upsell us on something that we didn't ask for although her management tried it. She listened to us,, which is quite rare for car sales persons. The finance team were trying to pull the old "the bank won't finance a car with that many miles so you need to look at something newer" switcheroo. She knew what we were working with and what plans we have for our family. Q said the right thing to push this through and get approved so that we would remain in our budget and not get into something way too expensive. We appreciate that and we appreciate her. This woman has now been added to my cell phone rollerdeck and I will certainly refer this joyful woman to others. I plan on returning to her soon. \ Thanks , Q. You are one of a true kind.

Greg Collins and his people did a fabulous job

My daughters car was a total loss in a fender bender while I was out of town. I had to act quickly in getting her a another car. The stress level was so high because once the car was evaluated and total loss declared the insurance company let me know that we had the rental for only another 7 days. So this situation left us having to find and get a good car deal over the labor day weekend. you know how slow things can be. Auto Nation's Greg and his manager took care of us right away.

Be Aware

We purchased our car on Saturday, 5/27/17. 1) The salesman was with us for the test drive and only allowed us to drive about 5 minutes and not on the road nearby to go 55 mph. When I turned to go that way he said that the traffic would be bad and just to go right and see how it handled on a slow curvy road. After we purchased it and started it to drive off of the lot we heard a knocking noise like a strut and returned to the office before ever leaving the lot. Herschel, our salesman, took us to the repair garage there and a mechanic test drove it. He said it definately was knocking, but they did not have time to look at it until Tuesday, 05/30/17 as it was Memorial weekend. I wanted to return the car but the general manager, Shawn Loydman, said that they would fix it free of charge if we would come back Tuesday afternoon. I was hesitant but we agreed. When we returned Tuesday we were told that it just needed to be adjusted. We test drove it and, once again, did not hear it on that test drive. Of course the noise returned, within a week's time. Mechanics say that you don't "adjust" a strut. We don't know what they did do to "fix it" but it appears that nothing was fixed. We contacted the dealership with no resolution. 2) We were told that they would run our credit and based on that score we would get a loan with a better rate than the standard 7.99%. When we didn't buy the extra car repair insurance being offered the loan officer was short and rude. We paid $4000 and needed to borrow $5000. We wanted a 2 yr loan but he set it up for 4 yrs at 7.99% although we found out our credit score was 846!!! He said we could make double payments to pay it off in 2 years and we could refinance it at a lower rate. So we went ahead with the loan. But when we applied for a new loan the Loan To Value was too high, even after paying $4000! I guess we didn't get such a good price for our vehicle. We like the car, but would not recommend this dealership.
