Best experience I've had so far!

The staff is amazing! I went in 40 minutes before they closed and Tyler had no problem helping me. Even though he had to stay over he made me feel comfortable. I went in with no idea as to what I wanted. I gave him a price range and he worked with me to achieve that. I'm in love with my brand new Ford Focus! They will forever have my business! Thank you Tyler Shipp! I'll see you in 39 months!

Rip off

We will never purchase another vehicle from Autonation. I took my daughter there because I had such a good experience with Mullinex Ford years prior. She was buying her first car and found a car she loved. It was Tuesday and we told the sales rep as well as the finance person that we would not have the funds for the $2000 down payment they requested until that Friday. The sales rep said that was fine and we could continue with the purchase that day and post date the check for Friday. They processed the check electronically on Wednesday:( this caused a $25 overdraft charge to my checking account. The check was resubmitted and cleared the next Monday. The Sales manager apologized and left a message they would make it right which I assumed meant they would refund the $25 fee. That did not happen...instead Automation debited my checking for an additional $30 fee!!!! If you are keeping track that means they cost me $55 dollars for their mistake that they admitted was a mistake on my voicemail. In addition to the check charges they ran my credit for my daughters loan after saying they only were using my income info, tried to add unnessary things to her loan, told us the loan was approved but then two weeks later asked for addition info to get it approved and didn't tell us her extremely high interest rate was negotiable. I can promise this was the last car anyone in my large family and friend group that will be purchased from Autonation.

Wonderful experience!

The service I received was absolutely wonderful! I felt like everyone helping actually cared about me and what I was looking for in a car instead of the stereotypical cars salesman that only cares about their commission. It was such a comfortable environment that I never felt pressured in. I would highly recommend buying here.

Absolutely the worst service experience ever! Zero stars!

I bought a used vw jetta from here about 4 months ago and i regret it every bit. I've had nothing but trouble with the car and have had the worst customer service from their service department! They had my car for a few days to tell me that they didn't even have the tool to figure out what was wrong with it and when they said they had to send it to the volkswagon dealership in akron i had to fight with them about paying the tow fee! I also had to literally show up a couple days later because they kept giving me the run around on the phone about a loaner car. After dave walters vw dealership had it for a few days they figured out the problem but of course the part wasnt covered under my warranty bc it was an elecronic (the emc) and so i was quoted 1400 dollars for the part and everything which I had to pay. But i took them my own part and when i went to pick up the car my total was 525 instead of the 169 i was told. The diagnostic fee was 325 dollars which mind you i didn't authorize this diagnostics, Ford Autonation did! So technically they should of flipped that bill...they did agree to pay 112 of it but later on Brian the service manager argued with the lady at the VW dealership and said they were NOT paying ANY of the bill. He was totally rude with me the entire process. Although i dealt with Patricia A. As well and she was nice..but hardly called me back. The VW lady asked to speak to Brian's superior and he said that he was out of town and even if he was there he wouldn't let her speak to him and hung up on her!! Dave Walters VW said they refuse to work with Ford Autonation after working on my car! But i could come back myself anytime. I would not suggest anyone ever buy a car from here unless you want to deal with xxxxxxxx and xxxxxx service!!

Poor communication

Very disappointed with this dealership. Purchased a 2017 ford f450 paid what they asked with no fuss. We paid to have the truck delivered to us and realized they didn't even include the ball for the gooseneck hitch. We called thinking it was overlooked and they informed us it would cost us another $250 to get the ball. We just spent $70 plus thousand dollars and they can't even provide us with a ball for our truck. Really. Thanks for ruining the excitement of a new vehicle. Won't be making another purchase with this dealership. .

Terrible Customer Service

Worst dealership experience Ive had in a long time. Salesman dismissive, condescending and unhelpful. Told them to take me off their email list yet I continue to get emails from them. Dishonest, misleading pricing policy makes it even worse. Would never buy a car at this dealership in the future. They have lost my business forever and also my respect with their dishonest tactics.

Needed A Fix for my 2015 escape

My molding on my Lift Gate came lose, I was instructed by another dealership to go to Auto nation they will know how to make the repair. I was walking through the service dept. when I was asked by Brian if he could help me, I told him about the lift gate and he said pull your vehicle into the bay, he looked at it . then he left to get the parts to make the repair. It took him all of 10 minutes to make the repair. I looked at him and he said you are out of here, have a good day. I will be going back !

Don't sign their "credit app" it will destroy your credit

I bought a new truck from AutoNation North Canton in May 2015. Beware, be very aware, of their credit app they want you to sign. It allows them to send the purchase to as many banks as they want to, in order to in the words of Marcus a sales manager "find the best rate possible" They sent it to 11 banks, plus Ford Credit. One of those 11 banks pulled my credit twice for the same loan. I just applied for another loan with an unrelated bank only to find out Auto Nation's shady practices dropped my credit score over 100 points. Never again will I do business with any of these shady people. Buyer beware, and make it clear and known that you do not want your credit pulled by as many banks as they see fit to "get you a better interest rate" which actually translates into a higher dealer kickback from the bank they end up financing you with. The only saving grace of this dealership is the exceptional care that Tim Harter shows his customers during and after the sale, unfortunately he is only stuck dealing with the shady practices of the finance department.

false advertising

Advertised accessories on the vehicle that were not in existence on the vehicle also advertise it is clean when it had rust in inaccessible spots doorpost in particular tried to hide behind disclaimers for pictures when it was clearly in the description of the vehicle not in the pictures of the vehicle and both of their advertising online and in the packet they sent us be very careful of this dealer promise to return a call never did

Sale gone real bad.

My experience with Auto Nation Ford was not a good one for many reasons. I understand that price mix up happens from time to time. However, it is how the mix up was handled. In my opinion your team didn’t handle the situation in a professional manner. General Manager said they were going to work something out with us, but that didn’t happen. Your team didn’t reach the goal of high standards of customer service.

Horrible Experience

Horrible experience! Worked with the Internet Sales Manager. Once we finally agreed on a price he lied to us and told us the car was no longer available, that the car was sold. (I know he lied because my husband and I went to the sister store where the car was located and took the car for a test drive). After we took the car for a test drive we emailed the Internet Sales Manager and the GM of AutoNation Ford North Canton store, telling them the car was still available. The only response received was from the lying Internet Sales Manager telling us that they had a different car available to purchase. Would not recommend that anyone buy from this location, if you choose to, DO NOT deal with the Internet Sales Manager.

Everyone, especially salesman Marcus, was very friendly and laid back. This was not at all the high pressure, pushy, intimidating image I often had of the car buying experience. I was given several different financing options to meet my budget and given a fair amount for my trade. The whole process went very smooth and it seems the goal at Mullinax is to make sure the customer is happy and satisfied with their purchase. Marcus even gave me a follow up phone call a week after my purchase to see if any new questions had arose and make sure everything was still going well. I have been to other dealerships where they were pushy and tried to talk me into things I didn't want just because that was all they had in their inventory. Marcus and Mullinax were the complete opposite of that. They understand that when you are spending that much on something, you want it to be what you want, they were willing to search their other stores inventory if need be, but luckily there was one on their lot that was just what I was looking for. I am very happy with my experience at Mullinax and have recommended them to my friends and family who may be in the market for a new or used vehicle in the future.
