Poor Service bad sales manager

By Bcbrown333 on 8/14/2019 at 10:45 PM. Helped by Zachary VAsquez.

This sales Manager ran my credit, gave me details of deposit and then sold the car from under my nose because he does not care about the customer. If you read my emails, due to broken foot, you would think I was actually purchasing the car, but this is fake, Ran my credit 5 times with different banks and I received notifications from my credit then sold car to someone oops forgot to hold for you. Do not ever work with Zachary Vasquez at For Autonation Tustin dealership, WORST customer service

I would not recommend this dealer.

Tired of the lies and lack of service

By Fng on 7/21/2019 at 2:10 AM. Helped by Sales and finance.

My wife and I leased our third and final car from these people. The first lease was fine and although the car was good, the service was average to poor. The second car was more problematic and after leaving the car several times to fix the keyless entry, we ended up with a poorly repaired car that still didn’t work an within 60 days the keypad actually fell out of the slot and cracked while hanging by the wires and flopping around at 65mph on the freeway. Mind you, these are brand new cars! I called to complain but got a huge run around until I finally ended up mcgivering the thing myself and just lived with it til the end of the lease. Note: the one time we really needed the keyless enters...it still didn’t work! They NEVER fixed it. Trying to be understanding and willing to overlook the issues of the past; I made the regrettable decision to let these knuckleheads redeem themselves. Bad idea. About a month ago we turned our car in and because time had softened my anger and I was in a hurry - ya...I’m an idiot for even going back- I let them lease me another car. All I requested was the same deal we had before when we turned in the 2nd lease. Well, I am now getting screwed out of over $700.00 in charges for extra miles that we were assured we wouldn’t have to pay as that is what we did before....they lied. Totally lied. I specifically asked the finance guys and sales department about this and they said no problem, you will be fine as we will not charge for the miles. During the signing, they messed with the paperwork and had to change some things sooo Viola!… that part is not there. Now, if it was before or not I have no idea but, the first two cars had no fees and we were over on miles. That is why I CONFIRMED with them there would be no extra fees. After 3 Days of being ignored or simply told call so-n-so...(who doesn’t call back) I finally had enough. I will pay there extortion but never buy another vehicle from them again. The lesson, at my expense is, these people are not to be trusted. They will lie, stall, lie again and then stick it to you if they can. Do yourself a favor, buy a car from someone else..,anyone else but these liars. You will be very disappointed if you do business with Autonation Ford. You have been warned.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Bait-and-switch

By Thoughtful Reviewer on 6/23/2019 at 7:41 PM. Helped by Don't remember.

Having read many good reviews, I visited AutoNation Ford Tustin to see what I considered a good deal on a Mustang GT. Unfortunately when I arrived there, they pulled the old bait and switch. The car SHOWN in the online advertisement was in fact the car I was shown. However, the advertised price, while for the very same car was the cost after the car was stripped of the package shown in the photos. Nowhere in the advertisement was this indicated. At that point, I couldn't deal with this business in good faith and left.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Worst Service Center Experience Ever

By DRobertson on 4/3/2019 at 8:08 PM. Helped by Malachi Rosales, Harley Hofmeister.

I chose 1-star simply because 0-star wasn't an option. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SERVICE CENTER. Especially if you have a Mustang. Here's my sad story. About a month ago I brought my car in complaining of a "Clunk" in my car's rear end during driving as well as when shifting between "Drive" and "Reverse". It's an automatic. Anyway, 7 days later they tell me my car is done and that they had to replace the DRIVESHAFT. I thought that was weird because the noise was in the rear end. Well, the first time I shift into drive what do you think I heard..."CLUNK". So, I brought the car back to them a couple weeks later for the same "CLUNK" problem. Get this.... my car sat there for 12 days with almost NO ACTION. The only this they did do is a preliminary inspection of the drive-line slop and decided... we should remove the transmission and tear it apart. This started to scare the crud out of me so I picked-up my car before they could pull the transmission. After I left the service center with my car I drove directly to a local Shelby dealership/Service Center. They guy was amazing. He diagnosed the issue in less than 5 minutes. He asked me, "Can you wait an hour?" and I was like.. "Sure". In less than an hour he had my car completely fixed and performing beautiful again. He only charged me $120 for his time as well. So, do you want to know what the issue was? The one where ford replaced my driveshaft and was now going to pull my transmission and tear it apart?.... It was nothing more than a loose axle nut. The guy just had to tighten it up.... THAT'S ALL! If you love your Mustang... DO NOT TAKE IT TO AUTONATION FORD TUSTIN SERVICE CENTER. You will regret it.

Service for Air Bag recall

By rosemarylilian on 3/29/2019 at 7:39 PM. Helped by Malachi Rosales, Kelvin Aguilar..

I was extremely impressed. The service Advisor, #6742, Malachi Rosales, was fantastic. He made sure that I was well taken care of, he assured me that the replacement airbag would be installed promptly and that i could watch TV and have a cup of coffee in the customer lounge while i waited. Not only was the airbag replaced within an hour but the service included multi point inspection with the tires and battery also being checked by Kelvin Aguilar # 6744.. I was treated with the utmost courtesy and my thanks go to Malachi and also the dealership for a job well done.

Poor part/repair service

By ZeroSeven on 8/30/2018 at 10:05 PM. Helped by Oscar Rosales.

Despite the long wait (3+ hours with appointment) to get the car checked up and oil change, part will take forever to be available. First part order took about 3 weeks. Second time, parts is taking more than 2 months. No update, no respond, nothing!!! Don't waste your time here. Go somewhere else that worth the time. Overall, this is not a place that you would want to come back to.

Above and Beyond Experience

By Kanoa07 on 1/24/2018 at 4:17 PM. Helped by Karen Walker, Brianna Saffer, Rana Musal, Vanessa Calhoun, Jillian Zimmerman.

I contacted ANFT to find out their e-price for a 2018 Mustang GT. Karen W. Reached out to me right away and went over color, options, etc. The one that was listed and fit all that I was looking for unfortunately sold before I could see it. Karen and Brianna S. both worked so hard in finding the exact car for me. The color I really wanted was very difficult to find with the options, but they didn't give up. They both suggested I do a special order which I was fine with. Just as we were about to set up a date to work on my order, Brianna found my Mustang! She found it up near Santa Barbara and was having it delivered on a flatbed to Tustin. Talk about going above and beyond! It took a few days of waiting but I finally picked up my dream car and it was so worth the wait!! They detailed and gave me a full tank. A big Thank You also to Jillian, Vanessa and Rana for being wonderful and so helpful. A positive experience from start to finish and very much recommended! Thank you ANFT!

I would recommend this dealer.

Don’t buy the maintenance plan!!

By Edward on 11/13/2017 at 6:50 PM. Helped by John.

Do not buy their maintenance plan!! You will not get any help when another dealership refuses to perform the basic maintenance on your vehicle. I have never had such a poor experience with getting a single question answered from a store. John a manager at the location was very rude on the phone interrupting my sentences and then stated he could not answer my question as he had to go into a meeting. So unprofessional. Please be cautious when thinking about their extended products. This was my first time trying to use the maintenance plan and I have spent well I’ve 2 hours on phone calls with no resolution. No manager to take ownership and perform the basic customer service of resolving an issue. Please keep in mind my issue was to simply answer a question. I still cannot believe how a question cannot be answered or the willingness of someone to find out the answer.

They don't seem to know what they are doing - lack of traini

By Beej on 4/21/2017 at 5:45 PM. Helped by Chris Lopez.

Brought my truck (2012 F350) for recall service for one of the exhaust temperature sensors. It took them one week to replace the sensor, then when I came to pick it up I got: "Trailer Brake Module Fault" message on the display. I have never seen this message, since I own the truck (I am original owner). The service adviser said it will take a minute to reprogram the module and took the truck back to the shop. Came back after a while, saying that it didn't help and I need to leave the truck, so another technician can work on it tomorrow. Tomorrow came and I got the call that they reprogrammed the module again, but the message still shows up, so they need to work on it. As of now they still don't know what is happening. Apparently they broke something while replacing the EGT sensor and don't know how to fix it. I don't think I can trust these guys anymore. My advise, find another dealer for any of your service needs.

My new Flex!

By SugarFlex on 4/3/2017 at 8:13 PM. Helped by Mario Ladouceur.

I found my new Ford Flex at Auto Nation Ford Tustin. It was super easy and super quick, not like any other car buying experience I have had before. My sales rep Mario was so kind and helpful. He helped me with my trade-in and found the exact Flex my family and I were hoping for. After a couple emails and maybe an hour at the dealership I was driving away in "Sugar" our new bright white Flex! Thank you to the sales manager and of course Mario for making this transaction fun and hassle free!

Good Service & Car--Not Entirely Trustworthy or Customer Fri

By Grant McArthur on 3/6/2017 at 7:06 AM. Helped by Marsh and Guy who Finalized Sales-Financing (Jason?).

I would give this place a perfect 5 star rating but for a few things. First of all, Marsh was a pleasure to deal with. The car was also what I was looking for and priced to sell. However, immediately while driving away the molding on the windshield started flapping around because (as I later found out) the windsheild had been replaced, and the molding was not secured properly in the process. I drove back immediately and told the manager about it. They took pictures and told me they would set up a mobile repair thar could address this without me losing time at work, or use of the vehicle. I had to call back for two days to get a response, at which point they (and by they I am talking about the same employee that blew off the request that I address in the next paragraph) backpeddled on their promise and told me to take it to another Ford dealership so they could take care of the problem for me. Luckily this dealership dealt with the issue under warranty in spite of the window replacement issue. There was a Car Fax and a 120 Point inspection in the car when I purchased it. I assumed it would be there when I purchased the car and took it home. When it wasn't, I called in and told them that it was important to me for my records. I was directed to leave a message with the employee who worked on finalizing my sale (an experience that had already shown me how bad this guy was at working with customers), and was ignored for days where I continued to do this. Eventually I got ahold of him and, in a familair and frustrated tone, he said I could go to Car Fax and pay for it. I asked it he could just scan me a copy, since I also needed the 120 point inspection. He unpersuasively told me that he would ask. I've heard nothing back about it, don't think he even asked, and am pretty frustrated that he wouldnt take this simple step after I purchased a vehicle from them. Makes me wonder if they don't want me to have this information for some unknown reason? Outside of this one employee, who seems genuinely annoyed and unwilling to go the extra mile for customers, my experience was pretty good.

I would not recommend this dealer.

By alicia111711 on 11/1/2013 at 10:59 PM. Helped by Mario.

My husband and I recently purchased a Ford Edge from a Ford dealership in another city and weren't given instructions on how to use the new technology available in the vehicle with the onscreen navigation and voice technology. Last night, we were driving past the Ford AutoNation dealership in Tustin and decided it might be worthwhile to ask someone there how to operate the new features. Fortunately for us, our timing was perfect. A salesman named Mario happened to be on the lot and more than willing to show us what we needed to know, even though we didn't buy a car from him or even this dealership. He took his time and went through every single feature we were unaware of and showed us exactly how to use them all. We were blown away by all the stuff our car could do and thrilled to have this "on the spot" instruction. He was very kind and even helped us change our remote locking system to allow only the drivers side door to unlock instead of all doors at once. A feature we were wishing for but didn't know was an option. Even though we didn't buy our car here, we would definitely consider it in the future. Mario and the rest of the team, including the general manager, Todd, treated us like family. It was very unexpected and extremely appreciated. Buying a car is a major ordeal and most dealerships are only concerned about their bottom line. This dealership seems different. We get the sense they genuinely care about people and are interested in helping you no matter what your need may be. Thank you, Mario! You made our night!

What a great experience! Every one was pleasant and helpful. Terry worked with both my husband and I. Initially, I was was just there because my husband was buying a new car. The service and prices were so great that I ended up trading my car in and getting a new one two. Terry handled the purchase of my husband's new car and my trade and purchase as well. Tim did our papers. We were there for a bit but Terry used that time to ensure that we both were hooked up to Sync and that my husband knew how to work all the cool features of his new Hybrid. This was the best car buying experience I've ever had. Great deals and great service!

Buying a car at this dealership was quick and painless! The customer service at Power Ford is excellent, they really treat you like you are family. Even one of the managers, Mitch said "Welcome to the Family" ! My salesman Terry Mohamadi was very professional and knowledgeable , he presented all of the options for me and was so patient and helpful. He even set up my SYNC system with my iphone! I am enjoying my new car, and appreciated that Terry Mohamadi and Todd McNitt have followed up with me several times to ensure that I am satisfied. I have already recommended Power Ford in Tustin to many of my friends and co-workers, and will continue to spread the word that this is the place to buy your next car!

By gwong81753 on 5/9/2013 at 2:13 AM. Helped by Kemick Larson & Rommy.

I'd like to thank Kemick Larson at Power Ford Lincoln of Tustin. I bought a 2013 F150 pick up and am very happy with the honest and professional service I received from Kemick Larson and the other members of the staff. Kemick was the first person to reply to my internet inquiry but he was the last person I called to set an appointment, after I had visited other dealers closer to home. Although all the dealers I made appointments with knew exactly what I was shopping for. The first dealer was not prepared for my visit. I sat there for an hour so they could review their inventory online and walked around the lot for another hour and found nothing close to what I was looking for. The second dealer told me he was holding for me the exact F150 I was looking for. I showed up for my appointment and the salesman had the day off. Another salesperson called him to find out what the stock number was or where the truck was located and was told it was being brought in from another location and will be there tomorrow. I walked around to see what they had in stock and seen nothing close to what I wanted. At this time I was frustrated since I been out shopping since 10:00 AM. I called Kemick at Power Ford Tustin at around 3:00 in the afternoon to ask if he had the truck he quoted to me online. I told him I was going to get angry if I came down and he didn't have it in stock. I did not have an appointment with him but he told me to come on in and he'll have it when I get there as it was at another lot. I waited about 10 minutes when I got there and he drove into the lot with the exact truck I've been looking for. My experience and service I received with Kemick Larson and the members of Power Ford of Tustin go above an beyond excellence in providing service and satisfaction to their customers.

By MatthewRuff on 5/8/2013 at 2:41 AM. Helped by Lou.

Today I had my 2005 Navigator in the service department. I came in because my charging light was on. I have had little trouble with the vehicle up until now, with the exception of a rear axle seal leak under warranty. At first I was impressed with how quickly I was greeted at the place of business by "Lou" the service writer. My positive feelings quickly changed when the vehicle repairs were completed. I sat and waited for "Lou" while my vehicle sat parked in the lot waiting for him to deliver my keys, this took nearly 45 minutes. The final price was more than I had been quoted and the bill for labor was inflated as I had personally watched how long my vehicle was in the service bay. In the end, what could have been a pleasant experience was deflated. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone seeking service

We were shopping for awhile trying to find the perfect car and we felt we had done a good amount of research prior to going to a dealership. But once we met Kemick we realized there was more to learn. He was very informative and helpful. We never felt we were at a car dealership. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. We went by one night when Kemick was off and Modesto helped us even though we weren't his client and treated us just as well as Kemick. We are very pleased not only with our experience but with our 2013 Ford Edge. Thank you for all your help and patience during our purchase...
