Never buy a car here

I bought a car during a car sale at the Angel Stadium for Disney Cast Members, at that time we were told that we would get a second set of car key, we never got it and kept calling and we were directed from one person to other and it never got resolved, we were charged for licence plates and never got them, again we kept calling and the same thing happened. This dealer has personnel that are dishonest and don't hesitate to lie to the costumers, I had to go to DMV and re-pay for the licence plates. Really bad costume service. I would never recommend this place for anything,

Stay away.

They told me they had the color I wanted and that it was on the way. 1 hour later, they said they coudn't get it. I gave them an alternate color. They said that they had it down the street at the lot. 30 minutes later, they admitted they didn't have it. After a few hours I got my third choice. After a few days I realized the car was defective. Took it in to them. They said it's fine. I called Toyota. Toyota said to take it in and demonstrate the problem to them. I did. They noted the issue on my service receipt. I called Toyota. They said to take it in again and let the tech drive it and for me to drive a comparable car. I did. The tech noted the issue again and noted that I didn't feel the tester car had my car's issue. The tech and service manager told me that my car's issue could not be fixed without a software update and the update was not available yet from Toyota. I started a Lemon Law buyback. Toyota denied it because they said that Autonation said the car was fine. The service manager Mike never returns phone calls. I also caught him leaving details off of my service receipt and I had him correct it. Totally dishonest. The general manager, also Mike, is also no help and dishonest. He offered to let me trade in my car for a new one only after I complained to Autonation corporate. After talking to him on the phone and in emails he sent me the trade-in deal. The deal was $12,000 more than I paid for the defective car! In the email he said that nobody was discounting the car I wanted right now. I went to the Autonation webpage where the car was heavily discounted. I took a screenshot and emailed it to him. No response. A week later he emailed me saying that he hoped that his assistant had sent me a good trade in deal. Blaming his assistant for the blunder. I called both of them several times. No response. I went to to the service center to see Mike. He wasn't in. An employee said that she'd have him call me first thing the next morning. Of course I didn't get a response.

Bad service department

How does this place even get good reviews for their service department? The sales department was good, no problems at all to buy my car, but the service is garbage. Everytime I take my vehicle there for a service even with an appointment I wait easily over a hour. The last time I went 2 hours for a oil change, and tire rotation. They didn’t top off my fluids cause my brake fluid was below the max line. Car wasn’t washed like I asked, just sitting on the side of their lot. I had to ask the service advisor for my car because I was tired of waiting. Also the quality of their work is poor. I e had a rattle in the driver window since I bought the vehicle and after 3 visits they still couldn’t fix it. The most recent was a rattle in my passenger rear tire. The advisor even heard it. I had a box of motorcycle parts in my trunk so the tech assumed it was that and took my jacket and stuffed it in the box of dirty parts and called it a day. xxx?!!!!!! The parts weren’t even In the car when I first heard the noise. I’ve called and left the service manager Mike a message over a week ago and still no call back. Also, my check engine light just came on again and I had it read. It’s the Mass airflow sensor. The dealer instead of replacing the sensor under warranty thelast time this problem occurred chose to clean the sensor. Well now months later, here we are again. Now they want me to go back to have it looked at. No way! This is the worst place to get your car serviced, do not go here. You’ve been warned!

Very unsatisfactory service

3 months ago we purchased our CPO Toyota Sienna. It had no floor mats, so we negotiated new mats into our Due Bill, clearly writing style & color of mats to be ordered and shipped to us. 3 months later we are still having to make weekly phone calls to their managers David Garrotte & Gilbert & Geo to get our mats. Not happy at all. Will never purchase from this dealership again & will encourage everyone I know who’s looking for a vehicle to avoid this dealership. They don’t return calls, they don’t follow through. They got our money, so they have no reason to follow through with ensuring our satisfaction.

long time,happy to repair

Long wait,but worth the wait. Listening to the car making noises every time I turned the wheel or backed the car up left me know that thee was a break problem. Also it is the little tweaks that take care of the larger problems and issues that could have been prevented in the first place.

Sleazy dealer

The worst dealer I have ever delt with.will not honor there own deals. They wanted to sell me a truck without even seeing it.they agreed to a trade in value,but would not honor it,in stead they sent me to car max to get there quote.never did see the truck they tried to sell me my advise, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALER!!!!!! There's a lot more to this story just not enough time to write it all down. This is not the first time I have bought a new truck I am 63 yrs old

I recently traded in my old vehicle for a new hybrid. When I first arrived to the dealership I was greeted by friendly smiles and knowledgeable sales representatives Dietrich and Nick. Both were patient, answered all of my questions, and help me understand my options. Billy was an excellent finance manager by providing an overall welcoming experience, a great deal was negotiated at my perfect price point. I would highly recommend this dealership because of its excellent customer service that is not pushy. It was refreshing to actually leave a car dealership without feeling frustrated and exhausted but instead I felt excited about my new purchase and satisfied.

I called the dealership and made an appointment with Nick to see a 2014 Camry. When I arrived for the appointment, he had the type car I had told him I was interested in (color, features) out in front of the dealership. I was greeted with a smile. He was very knowledgeable about the Camry and its features, warrantee, and services available at their site. He also successfully negotiated the price I was interested in. It was a very pleasant experience and I left driving my new Camry. I would give Nick "5 Stars" for his service.

Asked about back cup holder replacement at time of oil change. Service Advisor said he would check into it. No answer when time to leave, so asked if he'd find out and call me. He assured me he would, Never called. When I called him, he again said he'd check it out and get back to me. Never did. Finally decided to call Manager who told me to come in and he would pay for the new part. Fair enough. Get there and they install new cup holder but leave the material cover hanging out after waiting 1 1/2 hours. Stood and waited for car to be brought to me after service and I waited about 20 minutes before I noticed that my car was parked down a ways from me - just sitting there. Went to my car, took the trash out and went home. Called the manager re the cup holder incorrect installation and he apologized and told me they would fix it at my next oil change. This dealership's service used to be good, but within the last year has declined...

we have had the worst experience of our lives with purchasing a car here at Buena Park Toyota. Mike Goulart was the most rudest man or salesman I have ever come across, very unprofessional and yes we were very upset. Our trade in car had been stripped and put on a lot in Huntington Beach before our new deal was ever complete.

I worked with Racheal thru the Consumer Reports new car buying program with AutoNation. It went smoothly. They tried to appraise my trade in online but I felt it was not enough. Racheal was not able to fined my first choice for an interior color, but no other dealership could either. We did get a color we liked and Rachael told us to see Shawn Ullah at the dealership to reevaluate our trade in. Shawn was great to deal with and Buena Park gave us the more of a trade in Value than any other dealership and the same purchase price as my best deal. It was a good experience and I usually don't feel that way in dealing with New Car Dealers

This was my first time looking to buy a car. I barely had a clue what I was looking for but Precious was a great help. I came across a used 2008 Scion TC and I was pretty convinced to buy it, I just had to talk with my parents about it first. Unfortunately, when I came back to the dealership, another customer had just bought it. I had my heart set on a TC and in black so Precious suggested that I could lease a brand new 2013 Scion TC and that's exactly what I did. I was a first time buyer and had no co-signer, but they were able to make my payments work for me. Though I didn't get the car I originally planned, I got something even better. I can tell they really value their customers at Buena Park and I would definitely recommend anyone to that dealership.

A few reasons on why I rate this dealership so high. I first came to this dealership in November of 2010 to see (not purchase) a Scion TC. I went to another dealership first and the salesman there did not know enough about the car, I researched the bejeezus out of the TC to be as informed as possible before going but still had one or two questions, obviously, they were not answered. He just read from the pamphlet they have there. I told him that I wasn't interested in buying right now but that I would come back if I liked the car, well he pretty much ignored me then and didn't care enough to answer my questions. I ended up going to Power Toyota afterwards and Nick Sllaminku came out to see me and was very helpful. I told him the same, I was not interested in buying right now but would consider my options, he said "no problem, let's go see the car!" He answered my questions and offered me a test drive and was very helpful and courteous the entire time without pressuring me into a sale. I came back the following day and asked for Nick by name to purchase the TC from him, I brought my mom and my uncle to help with the negotiations but the entire process was hassle-free I didn't need them, I was in and out in 2 hours with my car, and it still runs great! I also go here for maintenance and have had the pleasure of Pete Amezola taking care of me. He is very polite and upfront about what needs to be done and what doesn't need to be done. One example being that having a new car I have free maintenance for a few years, I took my car in for maintenance probably at 20,000 miles and he recommended a new air filter and something else that I don't remember but it would cost $125. I said ok as long as he thinks I need it. About a half hour later he comes in to the lobby where I am waiting for my car and says that my old one is in good shape so we don't have to install a new one. Saved me $125 and I appreciated the honesty instead of just letting it slide and collecting money. The service department does great work and have been very prompt when I have gone. There was another guy named Buddy Dudnick that worked on my car too, but I don't believe he is there anymore. Last reason, every single time I have gone to take my car in to get it serviced I wait in the lobby for it. I see Nick walk around the floor at time and he ALWAYS sees me and stops by to say hello. He remembers my name, what car I bought, asks how my mom and uncle are doing and it is always genuine. My mom was recently in an accident that totaled her car and we went back to Power Toyota to see Nick to get her a new car. She bought a 2013 Scion XD and the entire process was once again hassle-free and easy. We are customers for life!

First of all, we absolutely LOVE our new 2012 Toyota Camry, and have come to love Power Toyota Buena Park because of your HONEST, FRIENDLY, and THOROUGH service and employees. Employee Billy welcomed us on the lot back on Dec 21, 2011, and was excellent to my wife Gayle and me when we traded in our 2005 Toyota Camry (which we also purchased new from Toyota Buena Park in Dec 2004). We feel Billy is the BEST; he went above and beyond to ensure our experience was super! Also, I've brought in our new Toyota every 6 months for recommended, scheduled maintenance. Randy Bradley in the service dept helped me the first time in June 2012; Jorge Buenrostro in the service dept helped me the second visit in Dec 2012. Both employees are also the BEST! I feel very lucky with my wonderful Toyota, and am so glad to be a customer of Power Toyota Buena Park, where, in my experience, customers come first. Looking forward to a great future! Thank you.
