They wrecked my truck while doing recall repair. They had there body shop estimate my truck, the estimate was over $1200.00 for the repair. I told them autobody is what I do and I will fix it myself just give me the money for the repairs. They said if I am going to repair it they would give me $200.00 or let there body shop fix it. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!!!!!

I would not recommend this dealer.

Worst experience ever

I strongly recommend to stay away from this dealer. I have never felt so disrespected in all my life. The saleswoman was not knowledgeable even about the technology in the vehicles on the lot. Financial department were an absolute joke. I was led to believe my deal was completed and in fact they attempted to rework deal to charge me an additional amount. I was sent home with new vehicle and they took my trade in, did not pay off vehicle for 3.5 weeks, then called saying I must bring the vehicle in ASAP or they will come to my house and take it, treating me like a thief. When I came down to the dealership they didn’t seem to understand my frustrations. I even received an email from the GM and didn’t see an apology or even a response after explaining the situation. I was lucky enough to be able to back out of the deal, but plan to educate others so they don’t receive similar treatment.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Beware-Tundra/AutoNation

Bought a 2018 $50K+ Tundra. Nothing but problems. We are on our 5th maintenance/update recall in one year. Each one is a min. 2.5 to 3 hour appointment. When problems occur technology doesn’t work properly leaving you without certain saftey feature. So you basically have to get the work done. I’m done with the product. So so very disappointed. Never again. No time for this! Looking to get rid of truck ASAP. Last appointment (today) was just over 3 hours. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Exceptional Service Every Time

Tina Becker in Service is Phenomenal! I have a 2007 Toyota Prius and a 2013 Highlander and AutoNation Toyota is the only place I service my vehicles since I moved here in 2008. I actually purchased my Highlander at this dealership because of the fantastic service experiences I had on my Prius. Service has always been Exceptional here and Tina Becker has always been my service adviser on the Prius, and now the Highlander. She is not only exceptional in her customer service and knowledge of her vehicles, but is such a professional! I cannot say enough good things about her and the entire dealership! What I can say is that when I replace this Highlander within the next year, AutoNation Toyota will be my first stop and Tina Becker will be my ONLY service adviser. Wow, what a FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!

Keep on trucking

I purchased a brand new 2019 4Runner TRD 14 days ago. It has been in the shop 10 of those days, and still is. They have replaced the front axle, swapped out struts, taken lift kit on / off, and numerous other items. I am so upset that my brand new vehicle is being disassembled by AutoNation Ft. Myers. I bought a car that was built in Japan for a reason. I have been unsuccessful to have anyone in management return my calls or email. They deserve ZERO stars, but, that wasn't an option. They are absolutely HORRIBLE at customer service. I want my new car in new car condition, or give me a different vehicle. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!~

Tabata airbag recall

After our Corolla was recalled and told not to drive the vehicle, the Ft Myers Auto Nation offered us a loaner car until our's was repaired but would have to leave our car parked on the roof in the open. Our Corolla had always been garaged. The Ft Myers dealer refused the National Toyota offer that the customer would park their vehicle in their garage and agree not to drive it and receive the loaner with a signer release. The Punta Gorda dealer had absolutely no problem with the National Toyota plan, we signed a release, parked our car in our garage with no problem. Drove a loaner for 4 months. The Ft Myers Toyota dealership was very unsympathetic with our concerns. The Punta Gorda dealership was extremely nice and accommodating. My next Toyota will come from Punta Gorda dealer even though I live in Cape Coral

Autonation refused to repair 2018 Camry with 1100 miles

Just passed 1000 miles in this beast. Nothing but problems. My kia had no problems in 3 years. So far I have had multiple problems with my 2018 Camry. Today I was at Autonation Toyota in Fort Myers Florida. Total frustration at the dealership. Went there for 2 reasons. Yikes! 1 the Lane sensors have quit working. 2. the front sensor ceased to work. because of this failure went to far parking car. Over the concrete stopper I went. Tore up some plastic housing. Couldn't drive car. Went under the car in good clothes to fix it. A normal screwdriver did not fit to tighten. Finally fixed it, Kinda, so I could drive it. I bought a new car to avoid problems and that is all I have had. Never mind that Sirius wasn't installed and that added it on. Was told this was on the XLE. Don't buy this vehicle. AutoNation Toyota refused to replace dragging plastic housing

I would not recommend this dealer.

Auto Nation in general is an excellent dealership. The service department is fantastic. Mr. Greg Flemming has handled my servicing on my 2015 Toyota Tundra 4x4 for the past several visits and has done an exceptional job. A seasoned professional with a great personality. as a long time toyota customer it pains me to write this.... my 84 year old father was taken advantage of by the service department today they charge him an extra $180 above their quoted estimate because they told him the parts person gave them incorrect information how sad for a dealership to fleece those who are least able to stand up for their rights and most easily intimidated I called and they assured me they would call me right back....guess what, no call

I purchased a 2007 Toyota Sienna from AutoNation's used car lot. The dealership replaced the dash under recall and did an excellent job with flawless service from beginning to end. I have dealt with this dealership for my company vehicles and personal vehicles in the past and it was not always a good experience. This experience was a welcome change and I hope that it is a sign that AutoNation in Fort Myers is making customer satisfaction a priority.

Unacceptable

Service was unacceptable, Sean the "manager" should never be allowed to talk to customers to resolve a situation. They screwed us in the service department. I've bought 4 vehicles here. I will never buy another At this location. We were told one thing and the mechanics and technicians did soemthing completely different with out my consent. Don't go here.

Claud was patient and attentive to my aunt's needs

Claud Wood recently helped my aunt lease a new Toyota Rav4 which she loves. She lives in Fort Myers, FL and needed to turn in her previous leased vehicle which she had leased in Massachusetts. She had run into some challenges trying to turn in her car in FL and leasing a new one but Claude was extremely helpful and walked my aunt through the process. He made sure she was comfortable with the process and helped her get the vehicle she wanted in the color she wanted for an even better monthly payment than she had on her previous vehicle. Claude's excellent customer service provided a great car leasing experience for my aunt.
