Always something to dissatisfy the customer

I have paid several visits to this dealership for maintenance on my car. Twice I have been very disappointment at the level of professionalism of the mechanics inside the building. Once I brought the car in for a flat tire and they sent me back home after they "fixed" it. Turns out a few hours later the same tire was flat again, so I brought it to my personal mechanic and I saw there was NO PATCH TO BE FOUND. Autonation Toyota of Weston sent me back on the street with no patch AND THEY CHARGED ME of course. Another instance, I brought the car for a recall on the passenger side, and I got the car back extremely dirty and grease with hand marks all over the dashboard, door and window. Also they made a complete mess inside my glove compartment. important paperwork all dirty and wrinkled as well as my checkbook torn. BIG MESS.

Sold me a piece of junk, shame on them

Previously wrote about buying a used car for my daughter and it breaking down a month later. Got a response immediately, (posted below) I called and was told they did not know what I was talking about. Told me the response must have been automated. So unprofessional and will never recommend this place to anyone. Response from the owner a week ago Hi Tara, we regret to hear that you are displeased with your recent experience with us. Our General Manager would really like to help turn your experience around. Stay away from these liars

I was looking to lease a car, but tried to keep my credit pristine, as I am about to purchase a home and take a mortgage in the near future. At first I was told there is no way to do this without pulling my credit, but eventually the salesman called me and said he had talked to his manager: they agreed that if the lease is fully paid in advance, my credit will not have to be pulled. When I arrived at the dealership, I was asked to fill a form with my social security number. I crossed out the part where they are authorized to pull my credit, and again reminded the salesman verbally not to do it. A couple of minutes after he takes the form, I start getting alerts on my phone re a hard credit check from Toyota! A manager then admitted he had made a mistake by pulling my credit without my permission, but this was no mistake (he told his salesman to promise me they would not do so). They had blatantly broken their promise to me as a customer, and violated my privacy: that manager then proceeded to say out loud in front of everybody else at the office (salesmen, managers, customers): "Why do you care? Your credit score is [here he actually said the number]; you could buy the moon if you wanted to." All I want is some privacy. And for the Toyota dealership to treat their customers with respect.

Infestation of insects

I have been purchasing vehicles here since it was Maroone Toyota and this has been the worst week with a brand new 2019 Toyota Avalon XSE. My wife was due for a larger vehicle with the new addition to the family a beautiful baby girl. So we went across the street to the Toyota dealership. We saw the new Avalon and knew it was the one. Prior to taking the vehicle home I advised the sales rep and sales manager that I noticed an abundant amount of ants crawling on the exterior. I was told that since the vehicle was parked under a tree and it was raining that was normal and they vehicle would be prepped and ready for delivery once the paperwork was done. We took the vehicle home at 10pm. My wife woke up to take the kids to the bus stop at 7am to find the ants still there. We took it to the dealer that day and they said they took care of it. Long story short the vehicle has been back to the dealer 3 times (they even had to call a “specialist”) and still ants are crawling all over the car and have seen some coming out of the A.C vents. I have two other vehicles in my drive way that have been eatin in and have candy under the seats from the children and don’t have ants crawling around like this. My wife is disgusted with her brand new 2019 Avalon xse, and refuses to drive it. It also smells like they tried to spray some kind of pesticides in the vehicle. Unnacceptable

Misleading Clients Buying Warranty on Certifed Used Vehicles

We bought a certified vehicle at Maroone Toyota Weston and were sold a 7 year warranty. During a service visit we find out our warranty expired after 4 years. We were surprised so we decided to ask the financial rep who helped us when we purchased the vehicle. Turns out that they sell you a 7 year warranty on used certified vehicle but THEY FAIL TO TELL YOU that the 7 years start counting from the vehicle’s model year. So if you buy a 2010 Camry in 2013 that seven year warranty IN REALITY IS ONLY 4 years. PLEASE READ THE FINE PRINTS SO YOU DONT FALL FOR THIS SCAM. I know it’s hard because when you buy a car they’ll pump a bunch of papers for you to sign.

More concerned with the music and dancing, not the customer!

I went to this dealership last Saturday looking for a used car I saw online and when I arrived I found that the car had been sold, no big deal. I told the guy who greeted me thank you and have a good a day. As I was leaving the sales manager, or one of them, said he had other vehicles similar to what I was looking for. I decided I would see what they had to offer. I found one I liked, I spoke to the same manager and he said he would work the numbers while I ran home to check on some things. He never called me back, he never answered his phone, never responded to emails, nothing! I guess my sale wasn’t important enough to them, or maybe it’s because I spoke to him in English, I guess I’ll never know and I don’t want to find out. Either way that place is more concerned with playing music, dancing and having a good time, not tending to the customers wants and needs. Stay away from that place.

Warning: Do not buy Toyota Cars at AutoNation Toyota Weston

I lease a Toyota at AutoNation Toyota Weston back on 2016 and complained after 1 week that I have problems with my alignment on my car. AutoNation Toyota Weston was trying to fix it multiple times but the car still swerving to the left after I took the care for service. I told AutoNation Toyota Weston this issue is manufacturer defect. AutoNation Toyota Weston did not address safety customer concern with the vehicle and unable to help me. I will return this car on December 2018 after my lease is up. I will never purchase, lease or bring my business friends or my business customers to purchase or lease a car at AutoNation Toyota Weston.

Rip offs

I had my car towed in because I thought it was the battery problem lights were flickering all over the dash board , the service manager advises me that they charge $130 something fee to test it electronically which was fine, he calls me back to tell me I need a starter I said OK he puts the new starter & calls me back couple hours later tells me I need a starter & alternator . I know that both things can't go at once so I was a little skeptical about the hole thing. so I call another dealer and ask them what the likelihood of two things going at once and they said it was rare , I call a friend that's in the car business that works at a dealership he's a service manager he says can't happen. I went to the dealership to talk to the guy & he was totally rude never ever asked if he could fix the problem automatically said you can take your car. They toke their starter out and put mine back in . so unprofessional !!! I've been bringing my car there since it was brand new I've taken it no place except there I will not be bringing it back there beware because they rip off people telling them untrue things about parts that you don't need . P.S. I toke it to a family repair shop within an hour the guy verified there was nothing wrong with the starter I needed an alternator . BEWARE

Service department woes

It's Saturday and their service department opens at 7AM. I had an appointment for 7:30AM to have a tire replaced. The appt was made by service advisor Jose Rivera. He told me he would not be here today, but another service advisor would take care of me. When I arrived, there were at least 22-25 cars lined up, in a single row, waiting for the gates to open and then be checked in. I waited in my car for twenty-minutes...unacceptable. This is a large Toyota dealership and they need to figure out the logistics in regards to checking people in and creating a larger service entrance and drive area. I'll never come here on a Saturday morning again. I did lease my 2016 and 2014 Toyotas here, only because they were the least expensive and my employer offered additional incentives, such as a $150 Mobil/Exxon gas card and a $100 AMEX gift card. This location is thirty-six miles round trip from my home and all I needed was a tire replaced. I had their road hazard warranty, which a lot of other dealers do not honor or you have to pay for the tire out of pocket and seek reimbursement...that's not happening. The service advisor called the parts department to inquire about my brand tire and parts told him they don't have any Firestone brand tires. My car only has 13,000 miles, came with Firestone tires, and the previous service advisor, Jose, called me to tell me the tire was special ordered and on premises as of Wednesday. Today they're telling me it's not here and that the tire warranty company doesn't open until 9AM. The tire warranty is an AutoNation warranty and my tire has a nail in it, with only 13,000 miles on the original tire. Multiple excuses not to take care of me or address this situation properly. They found the tire and I was told it would take about an hour and twenty minutes. This was after the long check in and then I was asked, "you don't want it run through the car wash, do you? It's Saturday and will take a long time", said Yorlian the service advisor. BTW, any good tech can get the car on the lift, the tire off and the new one on in about 25-30 minutes. An hour and twenty minutes is unacceptable and with an appointment this entire ordeal since my arrival to departure will have been over two hours to have one tire replaced. Lousy customer service. My recommendation, go to any dealership for service during the week and arrive early, 15-20 minutes before they open, or be prepared to wait with the soccer moms and arm chair quarterback dads. I shared my story with Hector, the service mgr, he was empathetic, listened to my brief tale of woe, got involved and accepted responsibility for the situation 100%. AutoNation Toyota needs to clone their service director!!!

I had been dealing with Toyota of Hollywood since June 12, 2017 about a fan blower that stopped working on my 2016 Toyota Tacoma. They assured me the part would be ordered that same day and would be ready the next day. I called Tuesday...Wednesday...Friday ...and again Monday of the following week everytime to find out the order had not come in and/or they just weren't returning my messages. I ended up taking my vehicle to Toyota in Weston where I was assisted by a nice young man, Service Advisor Jonathan V. He not only had the part ordered right away, but also detected a differential recall on the system, as well as replaced a bad battery and checked on my tire pressure. I dropped off my vehicle that day, the shuttle service dropped me off at home in Hollywood, and Jonathan called to give me an update the following day....on his day off!! Who does that in Florida?! He was very punctual and exact with his words...especially for someone (female) who doesnt understand much about vehicles...! Being that I moved from California where the customer is first and quality customer service is their number one priority, after bad dealings with Toyota of Hollywood, I really went in to Weston Toyota with no expectations...I WAS HANDSOMELY SURPRISED!!! I appreciate now that there are still people out there who want and are happy to go above and beyond for their customer and Jonathan did just that!!

NO MANNERS NO ETHIC!!!

Came to this dealer with my mom, she's trying to buy a new Corolla, Oscar and Tim "financing" just terrible, they want it to play big shots there, no negotiation skills whatsoever.... next day another guy call my mom offering 100$ less monthly if she will come down with $500 more? That is for their pocket so I decide to go to Hollywood toyota and guess what? Better deal she's just waiting for her new car to get out of the car wash, guys in the world of sale you always have competitors.... people buy from people. Next time you guys are buying even with bad credit, you always can negotiate and also you will always need it to be respected no matter the situation. DO NOT GO TO THIS UNPROFESIONAL PEOPLE! I will leave my contact here for any Autonation Employee who wants to really take a look on this, as a consultant what I just see here it's a business loosing sales customers and refferals for a couple of individuals with again: NO ETHIC, NO MANNERS AND 0 INTEREST IN GROWING A BUSINESS. Worst customer service experience I've ever had

This dealership is pretty. When I went the place was vibrant, lots of people, lots of movement. The actually place is the only nice part of my experience there. I paid a deposit on a used car that they said would be available a few days later. After receiving no follow up I called myself and was reassured that there was a part on backorder. Fast forward two days I called again after they still have not contacted me even once, for my salesperson to tell me the car was mechanically unfit to sell. I called and spoke to a manager and what really happened is THEY SOLD IT! I was assured by staff that my deposit on the car meant that it would take the car out of the inventory. They lied to me multiple times and had the worst customer service to add insult to injury. Customer service is dead at this location. Dealt with gems such as the lying car salesperson, Carol, her very passive manager, Oscar, who swears this is a normal occurrence, and the used car manager, John, who also was little to no help as he assured me he would help me get my deposit back and then never called me back. STAY AWAY!!

After many years of purchasing/leasing cars this has been my best experience so far. I mentally prepared to spend countless hours in there fighting for a fair price but to my surprise the entire process from finding the exact car I wanted, test driving and getting to the price I wanted only took a couple hours. I want to thank Isaac for making this a great experience and I would definitely recommend him to any of my friends that are in the market for a new vehicle.

Poor Service

I feel like I was part of a scam. While the order to have my tire repaired was being written up, my battery was "checked" as a courtesy. I was told I needed a new battery. I mentioned that it seemed to me I had a battery put in not so long ago. I was told that it didn't show up in the computer. When I got home and checked my papers, I found that I had indeed bought a new battery from the dealership in May of 2016. If indeed it wasn't any good, although I had no trouble, it should have been pro-rated. I went in to have a flat fixed and came out owing $785. I got no response to my email and text messages.

The Sales Rep (Mr. Thomas) made my experience a very pleasurable one. He literally held my hand through it all because it was my first time actually purchasing a new vehicle. I made a survey and they found out who had done it and I have been was treated terribly ever since. My car has been there four times and it still does not work well. I recommend that you use the 441 site as they treat their customers very good. I know I have been there. I believe that they don't need to treat people good because they have enough customers. Guys this is not Maroone anymore, they don't care anymore. Unless you want to be blackballed do not write a survey. I don't think they want to know.
