Best car buy experience I ever had❗️

Service Department - Poor Experience

Brought in my X5M for a recall on the passenger airbag. Husker Auto BMW did a 27 point inspection upon arrival. Husker Auto's own inspection report states windshield is in good shape. Husker Auto BMW had the vehicle for several days. At pickup I noticed the windshield was cracked from top middle all the way to bottom right corner. The service advisor said Sara Hansen (Manager) would call me the next day. Nope. I had to follow up leaving a voice mail message and at least a half dozen plus emails. Then I had to bring the SAV back in for another windshield inspection only to be told that the crack was probably preexisting and that the mechanic must have missed the crack during inspection. (A crack that goes across half the windshield - It did not have a crack when I brought it in). Sara Hansen @ Husker Auto BMW quoted me $1,125 and they would get it fixed.

I would not recommend this dealer.

worst service department

I would no longer support or recommend this location as Brooke in the service department had left . they do not return call ,and they are unprofessional .they returned my car after my last oil change with a damaged bumper, oil change computer check light not reset , car not washed . I had left so many voicemail about my bumper and no one has ever returned my calls. bmw lincoln , you seem to forget that you work for your customers and not the other way around . I never had issues when Brooke used to work for you . your service department staff including sarah needs to be retrained . please avoid this place at all cost .

Worst managment ever!

I took my cars there three times, and all 3 had issues with service reps. Manager didn't even call back after leaving 10 messages (voice messages + written messages from reps). I would recommend to use service else where.

Incredible customer service

I have been working with Brett Baker and Husker BMW of Lincoln for the past few years and I have never experienced professionalism and attentiveness at this level any where else. Mr. Baker is personable, reliable, prompt, kind, honest , hard working and makes you feel like you are the only customer he has. I without reservation recommend working with Mr. Baker, and plan to continue to do so ! Thank you for your hard work , you have earned my business indefinitely.

Don't stand behind their vehicle or their service department

These guys were all nice and friendly when I bought the used car (was one year old with less than 5000 miles on it), but when the car had a major failure (with less than 5500 miles on it), it was there service department that screwed it up so the original power train warranty wouldn't cover it and they did nothing other than tell us it was ours to take up with the manufacturer after waiting almost 2 weeks to get any answers out of them.

I would not recommend this dealer.

by far the very worst buying experience I've had in 60 years

Really don't want to trust used department as they are not truthful. Upper management refused to even speak to me. Called upper management over 20 times and they never got back to me. Was promised a refund of my deposit $ and never received. Horrible. I was out of state and they treated me with utter disrespect. Will never buy from BMW or Mini die to this dealership.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Awesome service by Jess and Josh at BMW of Lincoln

I stopped in late in the day to buy a part. Found out in talking to service tech Josh that I needed more than that. Although it was late in the day and Josh and Service Advisor Jess Moody had already worked long hours, they graciously took care of me - got me a quick service appointment while I waited - and got me on the road again within an hour. The kind of willingness to help that you just don't see too often anymore. They were both polite and professional in spite of my showing up late in the day without an appointment. A big thanks to Jess and Josh for going above and beyond!!

Great Dealership to work with!

I visited Husker Highline (BMW of lincoln) To fix various issues on my CPO BMW M3 not purchased from Husker. I worked with Service Advisor Jessi Moody the entire time, and the mechanic who worked on my car was Josh Baideme. Jessi was extremely friendly, helpful, and competent, as she helped me on my CPO warranty claim process, which is very time consuming, saving me thousands of dollars. The mechanic who worked on my vehicle, Josh, did an excellent job.

So bad too many to list

Well it started with 12 hits on my credit the first day got a ford focus ... Paid on it for a year and then traded it in for a Toyota camary found out they didnt have a title for it .. They told me to drive this car on expired intransits till they got the title ... never happened ... So i traded that car in for a bmw x5 .. " the best one they had cause of what happened with the toyota " i have it six months and now there is over $7000 worth of repiars ... And two recalls ... Plz what ever you do do not go to this place for a car ... I got screwed and i am fighting it ...

Used inventory is rough; if priced too good to be true...

The Internet sales guy is sleazy. He's who gives used car salesmen a bad name. Lies about what is sold/not sold to get you there. Website is slow to update inventory. One car looked like it had been flooded inside. Had down to the metal scratches fixed with a paint pen from Walmart. They wouldn't clean filthy cars until you buy them. Other cars had delivery photos on the Internet listing that included cosmetic damage. But had horrible work subsequently done. One had a cracked bumper. One car smoked during a cold start. Their used cars are priced lower than the rest becaus that's the shape they're in.

I would not recommend this dealer.

By far the best carbuying experience I ever had

I've been looking to by a new BMW for a while. I was "just looking" for the right car on eBay, where I came across BMW of Lincoln's inventory. I liked the detailed description and the ton of photos that were on there, so I called Bryan Niebrugge (I think he's a sales manager) who answered the phone almost instantly, and it was him, not some machine or secretary. I told him about the 5-series I wanted and he was very helpful in telling me everything about the car, and how an "eBay deal" would go down. He helped arrange the finance and the transport to my house in Utah (900 miles away). Oh and we were done in a single 15-20 minute call. He sent me all the paperwork to sign I got it back to him and my car came on exactly the day he said it would. I've never met Bryan in person, just exchanged a couple of calls, and yet I have a brand new car without ever stepping into a dealership or being taken for the usual dealer roller-coaster ride. Yes, it was my first time to buy a car unseen, and I was a bit nervous at first, I never planned on doing this, but I definitely recommend both the eBay experience and Bryan specifically. Oh and even with the shipping the car costs over a $1,000 less than what my local dealer tried to lure me down to their dealership for on a less equipped car. I don't do online reviews but BMW of Lincoln is AWESOME!!

My wife and I have bought 2 BMWs from Husker Auto Group and it's been nothing but excellent since we stepped on the lot. Bill Chapman has been awesome and helped us find vehicles that fit our needs and wants. The service department has been very helpful and it's always a quick turnaround. Bill is extremely knowledgable about the cars on the lot and makes sure you know everything about the car, and makes it fun while you learn and test drive. We can tell Husker Auto Group wants you to be happy, and are very readily available even via personal cell phone if we have questions or want to add something to our cars (tint, etc). We recommend this dealership to all of our friends looking for a new vehicle!

My wife took our X5 in for an oil change and complete detail. He knew it was going to be several hours, and didn't bother to ask my wife if she wanted a loaner. Seriously, they alway offer me one when I take the vehicles in. They never ask her if she wants one when she does. She sat there 5 hours, and then I got there and sat the next 1 1/2 hours. Service advisor was condecending, and frankly rude. Denied having a conversation with my wife, and then told me that he wasn't going to argue with me about it. They do good mechanical work, however....it never ceases to amaze me that they ALWAYS find a few thousand dollars of work that MUST be done, it's a safety issue, or engine may blow up etc... Another couple was there with a check engine light on, and they were told it was going to cost something in the $5K range to fix it. They were extremely angry as they had just spent $2000 at a dealership in Denver that didn't mention that there was any problem like they were faced with.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Went in to look at a BMW 530i advertised on a few sites....

Went in to look at a BMW 530i advertised on a few sites. It was sold when I got there. Salesman didn't know it wasn't available, but took the time to find out, and then find me a 545i in the same price range. We took the 545i for a test drive, and I told Todd that I thought the price was more than I wanted to pay for a car. THe "sales manager" said they'd give me a good deal on the car, before I took the test drive. I have little, to no, patience for the back and forth game with sales managers. I find it just to be a tactic to prolong the the negotiations. I told the salesman he had one opportunity to get a price I was willing to pay, or I would be going up the road to Markel BMW in Omaha. Unfortunately, the salesmanager didn't think I was serious. I left after he came out a talked directly. Later I called and offered what I was willing to pay, and the deal was done in about 5 minutes. The waiting for two hours for the finance guy was annoying as heck. I had a cashiers check in hand ready to go. The paperwork should have been done by the time I drove back across town with the cashiers check, so I could hand them the check, sign the paperwork and go.
