This is my second Honda CRV that I have purchased from Barbour Hendricks Dealership located in Greenville North Carolina. The sales representative Tony Johnson was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the vehicle. He listened to what I wanted and made suggestions. In the end, I walked away with the CRV model that I wanted at a good price. They answered and addressed all of my questions and concerns --truthfully. Therefore, if you are in the market for a new vehicle contact Barbour Hendricks Dealership and they will take care of you.

I didn't buy but they were willing to go the extra mile

I inquired through email about a certified car they had listed on the website. Unfortunately that car had sold the day before. They asked about my requirements and said they would try to locate something that would work for me. The sales manager, Christian, was who I was corresponding with the most. I found one car in their network that I was considering but it was on the other side of the state. I am about 2.5 hours away from their dealership in the first place. Christian offered to get the car transferred to her dealership and personally deliver the car to me! I contacted 5 or 6 dealerships, none of which were less than an hour away. This is the only one that even made this offer. I decided to go with a different car from an out-of state dealership but I would definitely consider using this one in the future!

Great Experience! I do not like going to car lots because most are high pressure...Barbour Hendick however is not! Monte' my Client Advisor was awesome! He made sure I understood the vehicle and showed me all the options for add-ons but I didn't feel pressured. I feel that I can call him if i have questions and he will definitely be a valuable go to person about my new CR-V! Judah, in the finance department was also fantastic. He made sure I understood what I was signing and all of the ins and outs of the financial aspect of the deal! Great team=GREAT experience! Thank you!

I thought I purchased a new 2015 Honda Civic, but two weeks after signing the contract @ a price & rate I agreed upon....I received a phone call practically demanding me to come in & sign a new contract w/ a lower interest rate, but higher monthly payments. Although, I loved the car I still have to pay insurance, eat, & pay other bills. Before you sign make sure your purchase is guaranteed & bring your attorney!!

Terrible

CHECK OUT THEIR BBB.ORG page first. Bought a used vehicle, with 3 month 3000 mile warranty from Honda. 1100 miles later major issues.Bought this vehicle and traded in my old vehicle and paid the difference in cash. Was told vehicle passed all checks etc and had the warranty with it. I put just less than 1100(One thousand, one hundred miles on it) and I noticed for a coupe weeks it was leaking a fluid and making a weird noise. I assumed oil or transmission and wasnt sure about the noise. I carried it in and was told the radiator was cracked causing transmission fluid to leak. I assume it was under warranty. Oh no. Service said they couldnt do anything that I would have to speak with the sales manager. The service tech told me if they transferred me he wouldnt pick up so they would transfer me to the front and I needed to ask for John or Jon. I did this. Right off the bat he was arrogant and rude. Told him the situation and explained it only had 1100 miles on the warranty period etc. He basically said I dont care and it was my problem. He did say if the issue had occurred the first day or two he would understand even if I had put 1100 miles on it then. At this point I am upset because 1100 miles is 1100 miles regardless of two days or two weeks in the warranty period. Basically at this point the manager was so pompous towards me on the phone I got off the phone. The service department then tells me my timing belt is bad and so is my tensioner. Now at this point I fail to beleive all this happened to my vehicle with in the warranty window and i was basically forced(cause I need my new vehicle i just bought) to pay close to a $1000 to get my vehicle fixed that i just purchased and had 1100 miles that I out ion it. The sales manager should not be talking to customers the way he did and offer to help people who spend this kind of money. He did nothing and said he didnt care. I will NEVER buy anything from Barbour hendrick honda ever again and it is sad when I have purchased several hondas from them and this manager and vehicle can ruin a name. I had to carry it back in again because it was still leaking and now the NEW radiator had a manufactures defect and had to be replaced again. Now when I pick up my vehicle there was oil all over my armrest which is now tainted with smell and discoloration and when I told the service advisor they looked at me like I was stupid and didnt know what I was talking about. She sees it and says oh let me take it to detailing to wipe it off. This should have been looked at before it was brought to me saying it is ready and I can pick it up. Poor experience all around but mainly from the sales team and their manager. People who just paid several thousand dollars for a vehicle with a warranty shouldnt have to pay another 1000 to get it fixed under a warranty period. Not to mention the person who worked on my car said he could or could not tell me it may have had that issue when it was originally brought in. Also the noise I had they never figured it out. I had to fix it myself but getting on Pilot Forums online. To see what the fix was, Honda had never heard of it but google and other have.

I bought a 2006 chrysler pt cruiser from bob barbour...

I bought a 2006 chrysler pt cruiser from bob barbour honda. I was under the impression that this was a reputable dealership. IN fact bob barbour honda went through several loop holes in which to not certify my vehicle. Just imagine driving a car with defective problems like wind shield washers and tires being severaly bad. These types of problems could have been handled by the service department, but bob barbour refused. I'm demanding the return of my money. That totals over $1000.00. You can see my better business complaint along with others they are numerous.

I would say that this is a great place to buy a car,...

I would say that this is a great place to buy a car, however I am not so hot on the service. Guy Wade makes the car buying experience a painless one, but the service techs leave something to be desired. More than once I have been there to find normal service items were not taken care of. Ie tires not rotated when I paid to have them done, improper inflation, sending car out with low coolant. All this when these are some items that come with a basic 20+ point inspection. They actually let my mom drive out with almost no coolant. I just happened to take a look under the hood one day before she was going to take a long trip to check things out. Good thing I did. If you are paying someone to maintain your car your should as well go somewhere else. This dealership also has a history of trying to sell you things you don't need, especially brakes. I know three people that were told they needed brake pads replaced/resurfaced rotors and that they had <5% left. When taken to a indepent shop these same people were told they had 15-20K left.
