Great Service!

My husband and I went to Baron Honda after a co-worker of mine suggested them. We recently got into an accident which totaled my husbands car. After going through a lot, we were already nervous and anxious to visit a dealership to talk about getting a new car, and we've both have been through horrible experiences with dealerships in the past. When we walked in, we were quickly greeted and Sonny Rahim became our sales rep. We sat down and talked about what we were looking for, and our concerns. Sonny was amazing from the get-go! He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and addressed all of our questions, and concerns. He definitely wasn't pushy. He gave us space and time to think. We did go to other dealerships to look around, but Sonny was the top person we wanted to deal with and in the end, we made the right choice. Thanks Sonny for everything and making it a pleasant, easy experience!

My husband and I went to Baron Honda to trade in our vehicle for a new lease. We met with Dustin who could not have been nicer. He was very knowledgeable but most of all made us feel at ease. Super friendly and made the experience so much better. I would highly recommend Dustin to anyone. He is an asset to the dealership and hope to deal with him again for future car needs!! Has been the best car experience we have ever had.

Bobby Brodeur was so easy to work with, listened to all my concerns about downsizing and met every goal and expectation I had. He is a class act and I would recommend him highly to anyone interested in a Honda.

Excellent in every way

They say in life you get what you pay for. In this case, I would say that isn't true. I did NOT pay a lot and I received one of the best buying experiences I've ever had. I'm not new to buying cars, I've bought a lot of them since 1980 (including 10 in the last 17 years) I know all the games, seen all the scams, etc. I've never dealt with Baron before and called them out of the blue. I spoke to Joe Turner and immediately knew I could do business with him. I went to the dealership a few days later and met him as well as Dominick Roncone. They immediately made me feel at ease with their upfront/no BS approach. I left a deposit late Saturday and was driving on Monday. The car was ready when they said it would be, and the final paperwork went smooth as silk with Theresa in their finance dept. I cannot say enough good things about the experience. I would highly recommend them.

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE

I would definitely recommend this Baron Honda dealership. Everyone was warm and welcoming and friendly. I loved working with my salesman, Sonny Rahim. He was wonderful to work with. He explained everything and never pressured us. He gave his opinions when asked and helped us decide which model and options were right for us. I believe we paid a fair price with no pressure from anyone. We had taken our 3 yr old granddaughter with us and planned on just taking a quick look at the models and coming back at another time. While we were looking, Chelsea came out and handed her a play crown and wand. A few minutes later, my granddaughter started to walk into Chelsea's office and I tried to stop her. Chelsea told me not to worry, that she could stay with her while we looked at the cars. Her office was full of toys and items for children. She told me she has them to keep kids amused when parents are looking in the showroom. My granddaughter loved coloring and playing with her and actually did not want to leave. We came back the next day for a test drive and the staff was actually asking if she was with us! I have never seen this in any other dealership. I have also been using their service center for quite awhile and loved the people there also. They always suggested what should be done if they saw something but never tried to pressure me into having more service than I needed. I have been leasing cars for many years, so I change cars every 3 years or so. This was the best and easiest experience I have had! .

Time well spent at Barron Honda

My Wife and I were so pleased at Barron Honda of Patchogue and our salesman Bobby Brodeur was so helpful, polite and informative for all our questions and concerns. When you give Bobby the idea of what you are looking for he really puts himself in your shoes and helps you find exactly what you can afford and not try to place you in something not in your budget. Thanks Bobby for all your help. I will definitely recommend getting your next car at Barron Honda.

No hassle buying with carsdirect.com and Baron Honda

I knew exactly what car I wanted so I started with carsdirect.com which led to phone conversations with a few dealers in the area. Baron Honda had the car I wanted at the carsdirect price, so we had a deal. Picked up the car the following day. Very smooth experience with Jennifer Sugg and Sonny Rahim.

Run away

When we first came to Baron, we were greeted with a non pushy environment that we appreciated. When we finally decided to buy our van from them, thats when the problems came. The car was very dirty when we picked it up. The people cleaning didnt lift any of the seats nor did they look up. We got a minivan and there were crumbs everywhere and splatters of stuff all over the ceiling. There were things that were broken on the van so we needed to come back. When we set the appointment to get everything done, they didnt have the things and we need to come back again. They charged us with extra finance charges that we didnt know about until we were home reviewing the bill. When we began calling about these extra charges, no one would pick up the phone, when they finally did, they needed to "check on that" and call us back.....which never happened. I chased them for about a week and a half, leaving messages and waiting. When I talked with the manager he said "this is the first I've heard of this." I think this is my first review I've ever written but we had such a terrible experience that I thought I would warn people away from there. My last interaction was with the sales manager. (this was almost two weeks of calls questioning the extra charges and getting the other things fixed ) I talked with him on a friday afternoon that there were still a broken clip on the sun shade and a broken motor to open the back door. He said he would call me back and its been a week. I've given up and will be getting these things fixed at my local garage because I want this nightmare to be done with.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Great experience

After graduating college, my grandparents wanted to buy me a car. I knew I wanted a reliable car, and a Honda seemed like the right choice. Sonny Rahim was outstanding at showing us the vehicle, explaining the perks, and treating us like family. Overall, it was a great experience, and I feel as if we gained a friend in Sonny.

I worked with Sonny from the start and he was very helpful and supportive in my car search. I bought a 2017 Cr-v and I never felt pressured or controlled throughout the process. He followed through with any questions I had for him and gave me the time I needed to decide on what was best for me. Dustin was very knowledgeable when it came to the car itself and explained everything I needed to know about the car and its features and made me feel open to come back or call with any questions. Theresa presented me with my finance options but again I never felt pressured to choose or add any specific coverage. Overall I had a great experience and felt that everyone at Baron Honda really puts first what is best for the customer and their needs.

Fair, trustworthy, kind, considerate

My wife and I have been leasing cars from Baron Honda for 25 years. We just leased two 2017 CRVs and we're both very happy. The latest model of the CRV was a big improvement over 2014. - quieter, faster, more high tech. I usually call Dominick or Bobby and tell them what I want and order the car over the phone. I typically pay the first month up front and then give the car back after 30 months or so. I trust that their giving me a fair deal. Baron's service department is terrific, but I rarely need service - just oil changes. It's nice to own cars and not worry about them. If you don't drive too much I would recommend leasing. Hondas hold their value so the residuals are high and the monthly payment low. If you turn a car back every three years you rarely have to replace tires or brakes or even do a tune-up, plus you can consistently take advantage of the newest technology.

Amazing, and easy!

From the start, Dustin made the entire process easy! He is not the typical "car salesman" where they hover and pressure you. My husband and I took multiple trips to Baron, and every time he answered any and all questions we had. When we finally decided on the 2017 CR-V, there wasn't a need to try and negotiate price! It was lower than we had anticipated. Then when we started to deal with the financing department, the department everyone dreads.. Theresa made it so simple, and she went above and beyond for us. We had an issue where we had to get in contact with Corporate's finance people, who made it impossible for us to reach them. My husband called Baron, spoke to Theresa and explained the situation. She also called them, left them a voicemail (we also by this time left multiple voicemails) and eventually they got back to us to clear up the account. When we picked up the car and sat down to do the finance paperwork with Theresa, she had also informed us about how we were approved for an even lower interest rate! Really just the best news we could get that day! Overall, our experience was amazing! We highly recommend Baron, especially when dealing with Dustin and Theresa! They are nothing like the other car dealerships we have dealt with in the past!!

Bad experience

Ran credit without my authorization (Illegally) Rude, once they cant come to terms with you because they want u to buy what they want not what you want, then they have no time or patience for you. They dont return your calls, once they have your interest they put you on the back burner to keep realing in other (new) customers. Old/returning customers dont matter even when its them trying to lure you in with their false advertisements.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Baron honda was great, the overall process was excellent. This dealership was recommended by a friend, we weren't expecting to leave the dealership with a car but we did. We got the minivan we wanted, with the features we wanted at a great price. I couldnt be happier, especially with our Sales Rep Joseph D Turner.
