Go somewhere else

By Marie on 10/18/2018 at 2:01 PM. Helped by Michael Ward.

I am not pleased with the car I bought. Upon closer inspection it is rusted, and needs repairs. I wish I had never went there! I now have a huge debt, and nothing to show for it except stress...

I would not recommend this dealer.

Great Service

By erica on 10/16/2018 at 2:39 AM. Helped by Johnny Mahsetky.

Johnny Mahsetky was awesome! He had our vehicles we wanted to look at ready to go at the front so we could test drive them. We have to small kids and he understood, he was able to get us in and out quickly. We had been looking for over a year for our perfect car and he nailed it! We love our new CRV and couldn't be more happy with our purchase! The other staff is extremely friendly as well great place to buy a car! Thank you!

Watch your paper work, they will rip you off. The sales and finance people are so friendly, but can’t be trusted. I have lost all respect for Battison and will never buy from them again.

Save yourself , go anywhere but to Battison

By Gotscrewed on 5/3/2018 at 4:45 PM. Helped by My My sold me the car.

I can truly say they ruined my life! All i got was screwed over at this dealership. I traded in the only vehicle i had to end up with nothing! They sold me a car that broke down 90 days after i bought it. No one in this dealership is willing to even talk to me except the service manager. They got their money and now they hide in their offices! They will absolutely ruin your life! They dont care about you! They only want to line their pockets with your hard earn money! Look around there are tons of dealerships! Go anywhere but here! If zero stars where an option thats what they would get.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Wouldn't go back

By mark on 12/17/2017 at 6:50 PM. Helped by Johnny.

Bought a used car, unfortunately I HAD to (no time) otherwise I would've walked out. Everything outside of the deal they didn't care about, I needed a full tank because for whatever reason they "didn't have the time" when I bought it to go fill it up so they said come back. A week later I did (30 minutes away), they at least honored that part and got me gas but were too cheap and put in about half of the cheap stuff which I've had the car long enough now to know it's 4-5 gallons. What bugged me the most is right before I paid for the car, the salesperson told me they didn't have a spare key, they'll contact the previous owner and if they had no luck they'd cut me one. Don't ever trust their word, next thing they told me was "oh sorry, no luck, were at the mercy of other customers, if you'd like we can give you an estimate of what a spare key costs" I wasn't happy and said you were suppose to cut me one if you didn't get one from the previous owner, that is what you told me before I bought it. Of course no response back. They're not gonna get another dime from me and don't expect them to treat you any different. I work on my own cars so they will definitely not being seeing my car again. Don't go to a dealership unless you have to. They haggled over a key and some gas, then I wouldn't dare go to them if I had a real problem with the car, as you can tell from the other reviews it gets worse.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Horrible “service”

By hadenoughofthispilot on 12/13/2017 at 10:05 PM. Helped by Barbie is the only one I can remember.

2016 Honda Pilot was the worst decision we ever made.  Dealership "customer service" is a joke.  If you're considering purchasing a pilot, I'd read other consumer reviews and rethink your decision unless you know someone that can work on transmissions because the dealership blows you off and then wants to charge you an arm and a leg to fix it because your warranty is up--even though its a documented issue they were unable to remedy well before the warranty expired. We bought our pilot in June 2016, on top of the ongoing transmission problems, we’ve also had: catalytic converter issues-TWICE, fuel injector issues, power steering, anti lock brake issues, radio went out, nav system quit working, back up camera and proximity sensors are hit and miss on whether they work. And to add insult to injury, the value of the car is not even 60% of what we paid for it just a year and a half ago.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Unethical Business Practices

By Johndisappointedwithbattison on 10/6/2017 at 12:14 AM. Helped by I would not like to include employee names..

October 5, 2017 I am writing this review in an effort to “bring to light” the unethical practices I experienced at Battison Honda in Oklahoma City. Last week I called their main number and asked to speak to someone in the service department who could give me a quote. I was transferred to a service representative and proceeded to explain that I would like a quote for parts labor and tax to replace both front wheel bearings on my 2011 Honda Accord. I was told that parts and labor for both sides would be $578.00. I questioned them about if that price was per side or for both sides. The response was that the price given was for everything, both sides. I told the representative that I would be calling the first of the next week to schedule a day to have the quoted work performed. This Wednesday I called and they said I could drop it off, they would do the work the next morning, and I did so. Thursday morning I get a call from the dealership, “Sir we have diagnosed your car and you need to have one of the front wheel bearings replaced. That total will come to $580.00.” I told them I had already been quoted $578.00 for both sides and they told me that I must have misunderstood. At this point I asked to speak to the service manager and was told that he would call me back. After getting off the phone, I visited with my friend and he called Battison Honda service and asked for a quote to replace both his front wheel bearings. He was told, “It will be $578.00 for both sides.” He asks “Is that $578.00 per side or $578.00 total?” The Battison representative responded with, “That is the total to do BOTH sides.” Finally at the end of the day the service manager returns my call and explains to me that there must have been some misunderstanding and that it would still be $580.00 to do just one. At this point I became very frustrated. After further conversation he offered to take only $100.00 off of that price and said that I must have misunderstood, saying “There is no way that we could ever do both sides for $578.00.” I revealed to him that my friend had called just a few hours ago and was told the same quote that I had originally received. The Battison service manager STILL refused to honor their quote. I finally told him that I did not want any work to be done on my car and that I would pick it up in the morning. My main concern is that as we got off the phone he said “We in no way intend to do anything unethical.” I personally have a spare car and will also not be drastically affected by a few hundred dollars. But what if a single mom, struggling to make ends meet experiences the same poor business practices at Battison Honda that I did. What if she was told, “It will be $578,” and she saves her money, brings the car in on a day when she has arranged to be without a car for a few hours, and then receives the same call that I did this morning, finding it will be twice what was quoted. Knowing that she would have to pick her children up from daycare at the end of the day, she would have no choice but to be taken advantage of. This is my concern. This practice used to draw in customers, a bait and switch, hurts Oklahoma’s most vulnerable the hardest. I gave Battison Honda every opportunity to correct their mistake and make things right before writing this review. Even after being caught red handed by the second call for a quote, their management chose to turn away and ignore my concerns. They did not offer to turn from this practice nor did they even acknowledge that it was going on.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Hope they don't treat all female patrons the same

By Tim Danley on 9/21/2017 at 12:52 AM. Helped by Raequwon Hascall, Natalie.

Girlfriend went to see about purchasing a car on her own and this dealership tried to pull all the tricks on her. She had a specific model she was interested in and they tried to convince her to pick a different trim. When they did finally show her the car she wanted to see they never disclosed the pricing they were trying to work on with her. Turns out they were trying to charge $2k over MSRP for a base trim with no additional dealer options installed. Two days later she realized that she was missing her driver's license and didn't recall having it returned to her the second time they collected it. After calling the dealership the salesman informed her that it wasn't still in the copier so it must not be there. She then asked to speak to a manager to see if they would check the car she test drove. The front desk attempted to transfer her 4 times with no one answering. When someone did finally answer she identified herself as Natalie but stated that my girlfriend had the wrong number and that she was not affiliated with Battison. My girlfriend called back to the front desk to double check and was informed that Natalie was in fact an Asst. Manager but just didn't want to take the call. We were interested in making up to two new car purchases but it definitely will not be with this dealership. Additionally, we still haven't heard anything about her driver's license. In addendum I don't know for sure that Raequwon was the salesman that helped her as he did not provide a card but that's the name on the e-mails that I keep getting thanking me for the purchase we did not make.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Battison Honda makes buying a used car Russion Roulette

By Heather Embrey on 8/29/2017 at 5:35 PM. Helped by Natalie.

Buying a used vehicle is ALWAYS a risk; however, Battison Honda makes it Russian Roulette and you should NEVER buy an extended warranty, as it will not cover ANYTHING, and be worth less than the paper it is printed on. If you do purchase it, make sure that they give you paperwork at time of purchase and know what they say it covers (making sure it matches what they SAY) The salesman said that the vehicle was thoroughly inspected and had no major mechanical problems found and was told the warranty covered things that it does NOT and didn't receive papers until following week. Now have inspection report and NOTHING was inspected that they claimed was thoroughly inspected! The last supervisor I talked to actually told me that it was MY FAULT for BELIEVING the original salesman! Within 24 hours of purchase, the Water Pump and the Thermostat Gasket went out, followed by the Differential. Made numerous attempts to get the car repaired or the "warranty" refunded and was only offered a prorated amount of the warranty when it has covered NOTHING. RUN from Battison Honda and actually go to a dealership that ACTUALLY inspects and Certifies their used vehicles!

Buyer Beware

By dinski405 on 6/30/2017 at 9:38 PM.

After purchasing one vehicle from them 4 years ago I decided to go back for this next vehicle. Biggest mistake ever. The sales dept was OK but the finance department apparently has no clue what they are doing. Went in on June 3rd and signed papers. It is now June 30th and I am still getting the run around on getting copies of all the documents from the transaction. I am also still getting notices from the multitude of financing companies that they went through for finance and my credit rating has drop 50 pts in that time because of it even though they assured me it would appear as one inquiry. Guess they will lie about anything to make a sale.

Horrible Horrible experience and service!!!

By Supersonic on 6/28/2017 at 8:31 PM. Helped by Natalie and Johnny.

Bought car on June 2nd using my own finance company and the accounting and finance department has yet to fax my purchase agreement to my bank...I have read similar complaints on the Better Business Bureau regarding this very same type of complaint. My salesman was awesome but the finance and accounting department was by far the worst I have dealt with in my 48 years of life. I will never refer anyone to this crooked car dealership. All that is needed is a simple fax to USAA from the dealership. Today is June 28th and they have yet to update us on anything ..its not that hard to make a phone call.

Great Experience, Top Notch Service and Awesome Staff

By Nick B. on 6/16/2017 at 10:44 PM. Helped by Donnie Graham, Linda Graham.

Purchased a 2017 Honda Accord Sport Special Edition from Donnie and Linda Graham at Battison Honda. My wife and I just had a little baby girl and we did not have a lot of time to hangout at the dealership all day with her. We knew exactly what car we wanted and they had it pulled up front detailed and gassed up ready to go by the time we got there. Paperwork was already printed and we were in and out in under and hour. They made the process extremely easy! We will most definitely be back again! Thanks guys!

Lying con artists!

By Buckshot324 on 6/5/2017 at 8:37 PM. Helped by Jim, Terry.

They lied and told my girlfriend that she was approved for 14.99% financing through capital one and we signed that night for the 14.99%, put $2,000 down and drove away with the car. Then during the first week she had to spend $400 on repairs on the car only to get a call 2 weeks after we bought it saying that she was never approved and that she had to come in and sign for 23% interest or they would come take the car!! The manager Jim was extremely rude when we talked to him and just continuously cut us off when we tried to explain that Terry the finance manager said the capital one approved her for 14.99%. They say they will not reimburse her for the $400 she had to spend on the car and that it will take 2 weeks to get her $2000 that she put down back! WE WERE TOLD THAT SHE WAS APPROVED and would have never spent $400 on a car that we d idnt think was hers! Not only that...we would have never drove it off the lot! BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!

Outstanding experience

By Efdubya on 6/1/2017 at 10:53 PM. Helped by Mark Forth.

Outstanding experience for the 4th time. We were replacing our car with something an older person finds easier to get Into and out of. Our Lincoln LS, thou very low mileage, it was nearly impossible to climb out of for a senior with back problems, so it basically sat unused. We have an Honda Odyssey that's great but we needed something we could both easily enter and exit and easy for the misses to drive. The 2017 CR-V Touring AWD fit the ticket. The sales rep we use at Battison is Mr. Mark Forth. He has sold us three Odyssey's from three dealership names, so we contacted him and he put our name on the next new CR-V arriving in our color choice. When it arrived at the dealership we negotiated a trade and picked it up the next day. It was just that hassle free. Now to be fair, let me say that this was a no-hassle cash sale. No loan to process, no muss, no fuss. A very clean sale. Write a check for the vehicle and take it home. So, if someone had a problem financing thru Battison, I would't know anything about that end of a purchase there. I have also had all three of our Odyssey 's serviced at Battison Honda and its former named dealerships. No issues with heir service either

I would recommend this dealer.
