Poor service

By Cars on 4/23/2019 at 9:34 PM. Helped by Andre.

Buyer beware! Hidden defects on car which they lied about! They are deceitful and sell cars not safe to drive! Will use all avenues necessary to recover damages!

THE MECHANIC DOESNT KNOW ANYTHING!

By cargirl07 on 1/28/2019 at 6:46 PM. Helped by the mechanic..

we bought a used car from these people and the rotors and brake pads on the rear were really messed up! loud screaching noise (we weren’t that upset with this being the only problem) so we brought it back into the dealership because it was under the 30 day warranty and told them to take a look because everywhere we went it was a loud metal on metal noise and when we were braking the car would do a harsh jerking motion too. i had another mechanic who is a close friend for over 20 years look at it and tell me the rear brakes and rotors to be replaced. we took it back to the dealership and they told us nothing was wrong that the breaks had 70% left. once we took it back to the family mechanic and he gave us the old brake pads to show the dealership, they didn’t even care! they said now that there’s a rule with management if the brake pads aren’t lower then 20% not to replace them and that they couldn’t credit us for what we paid for cause it wasn’t done by them! i’m a 30 year old girl and i could work better on a car than them! NEVER use this dealership!

I would not recommend this dealer.

Never again!

By Justine MF justine on 1/11/2019 at 5:27 AM.

They are nothing but scammers at this place! My teenage daughter spent a lot on what we thought would be a reliable car for her to get to school ad work..... she should stick with uber cheaper in the long run!

MAJOR MECHANICAL ISSUES

By Nor on 1/8/2019 at 5:31 PM. Helped by "Champ"..............hardly the right name for the man we dealt with!!.

Should have followed my "gut" and walked away from the purchase when I was forced to sign multiple "AS IS" disclosures, but of course this was AFTER they already had my money! Clue #1: The salesman would only allow us to drive around the block for the test drive. He had all sorts of excuses why we couldn't take it out further/longer (another buyer, getting too late, low on gas, etc). The "service engine" light came on just hours after purchasing the vehicle, and needed over $800 worth of repairs to replace broken engine brackets (so the engine wouldn't fall out of the car!!) and replace thermostat (among other items). Do NOT purchase a vehicle from this place without a LONG test drive and a thorough inspection done by an independent mechanic!!

I would not recommend this dealer.

It died within hours.....

By Girl on a mission on 10/15/2018 at 12:44 AM. Helped by John king Sr.

Only reason I gave 1 star is to be able to write a review. On Monday Oct 1, 2018 we bought a 2012 Dodge Avenger from Beach Blvd Auto. We were assured that this vehicle was serviced and checked over by the service dept and all checked out. We paid $10000.00 in full for the car. It was driven to Daytona that day and on the way back started losing power on the highway. Stepped on the gas and nothing. Pulled off of 95 and the car is dead and steam coming from the engine. The car thermostat indicator read normal the entire drive and no warning indicators were lit. Had the car for 6 hours and now it’s dead. Paid $300 to have it towed back to my house in Jax. This was my sons first purchase. Mr. King (owner of B.B. auto) said he was having it towed to his shop from my house. He then said it needed a new starter and they were putting one on. Never asked me or gave a price, he tries to play slick on words, then tried to say I authorized it. The car was not towed to his shop but rather to an off site shop. The car needs a new engine , Head gaskets blown and seals warped. He said my son needs to learn life’s tough lessons and basically oh well. He tried to say that my son did something to it while driving. Nice assumption from a man who cons people for a living. Whether he knew the car was junk or not, we owned it for 6 hours. He has the ability to make it right but is refusing to do so. We spent $10000.00 to own a car for 6 hours!!! Mr.King is a liar, cheapskate and most of all a conman. DO NOT BUY HERE. READ THE REVIEWS CAREFULLY. This isn’t the first time this had happened here. Mr.King, I don’t care how long you’ve been at this business, a leopard never changes his spots. You are not a businessman but rather a conman, a crook a liar and theif. . People work hard for their money and and you heartlessly take it and give trouble in return. I’m not sure how you sleep at night or show your face in public. You should be ashamed of yourself. If this review saves just 1 person from hassle that you have given us, then my job is done.

Please, if you value yourself do not buy a car from this so called dealership.. They have multiple million dollar lawsuits for a reason. Rude and obnoxious so called sales people. Do not recommend. With any justification they will be forced to close down for ever.

15 Miles up the road and the car Blew up

By Heather1234 on 8/4/2018 at 11:57 PM.

Buyers stay away. Went here for my sons first car. It was a joke from the moment we walked thru the door. Day one we were in the office half the day waiting for them to get financing. After coming back with rediculous interest rate we left & decided to go thru our credit union. Long story short we bought the car & 15 miles down the road the car started smoking. We took it to the closest mechanic and they suggested it needed a new motor. We then had a second opinion by a mutual mechanic per Mr. King and he also suggested we needed a new motor. We had the car towed to our own mechanic and he also agreed that we needed a new motor. We paid over $3000 for a refurbished motor. After driving the car for one day it starts smoking again. We take the car back to the mechanic. The end was burned completely off the spark plug. After the insurance claims looked at the motor they agreed to replace it but only this one time. So after putting motor number two in and driving the car home it still wasn’t running proplerly. We take the care back to the mechanic and was told the turbo was bad. $900 later and we have a new turbo. Received the car back this Monday and it’s still not running proplerly. We took the car to Hynduia and they suggested that the car maybe programmed and they have had this car in their shop numerous times. They were unable to get into the programming and was unable to help us out. Still no solution or Car that runs right.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Absolutely Terrible!

By justin123 on 7/29/2018 at 6:28 PM. Helped by Kevin.

Everyone has heard about how shady used car dealers/salesmen can be, but my god these guys are the prime example of that. I've bought my fair share of used cars over the years and have come to expect that there will be hidden problems not expected/hidden, but a business that intentionally hides issues is pretty xxxx disgusting. As seen by all the negative reviews and the 100% negative BBB review this place has, I am not the only one who has run into this. After purchasing a car here in cash, they tell me they want to wash it before I leave. Cool, that is good customer service I think to myself. I am about to get in and leave and notice a giant white "spot" on the rear driver door window. Weird, that wasn't there a few minutes ago. It turns out, they hid this problem under the window sticker that has all the specs of the car on it. I know what youre thinking, its just a window that is easily and cheaply fixed or can be cleaned. Not the case. This car happens to have double pane windows and this white stuff was in between the glass so, the only way to fix it is to replace the entire window. On this car(Lexus LS430) this is a $500+ part and a $1000+ repair if you dont DIY. Now you know why they put the spec sheet on the rear window in this specific spot. I showed the salesmen who sold me the car (Kevin im calling you out) and he seemed genuinely surprised also. He tells me they will have their "glass guy" take a look at it and see what we can work out. The glass guy actually meets me at my house and confirms in about 30 seconds that the only thing that can be done is to replace the window. Even the glass guy said they hide problems all the time. I speak to Kevin over the phone and he lets me know he's going to talk to the owners son and see what they can do and if I didn't hear from him by the end of the day to call him the next day. So I call the next day, after not hearing anything, and what do you know this is Kevins day off. Maybe he just forgot right? I call the next day and his phone rings forever with no option to leave a voicemail, this happens a few times over a weeks time and eventually the phone operator just starts hanging up when I call and ask to speak to Kevin. Awesome way to do business! Please take the time to read the reviews and lawsuits against this dumpster of a dealership and avoid it. They do have cheap prices on cars, but there is a very good reason for that, they all have problems. They will do or say anything they can to get your money and then you become someone else's problem.

I would not recommend this dealer.

By Angry customer on 7/20/2018 at 6:13 PM.

Awful customer service from the top down. It’s so surprise that employees are rude, aggressive, and unwilling to assist as the owner himself (Mr. King) curses out customers. Save yourself time, money, and headache and go elsewhere!!

WORST Expereance EVER!!!

By Beach BLVD SUCKS! on 5/10/2018 at 1:48 PM.

First off 25% interest rate and that is a fixed rate for all their customers!? I don't believe that! This place is a JOKE!! I put 1/2 of the price down (4K) on the vehicle and a month after driving it the engine light came on.. Took it to a few places for different opinions. Received all the same feed back. Took it back to Beach Bulvd for them to fix and they replaced parts that had no issue nor could they prove the parts they replaced were bad. NEVER addressed the main issue. Told me they reset the error code and that fixed it! SERIOUSLY! *****DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!***** Save yourself the time and money! BTW I am out 4K. I would not give this place another dime of my money!!!

VIN proves vehicle NOT what advertised

By Limaren on 3/27/2018 at 11:07 PM.

Cadillac Joe was great. Contracted for what was listed as a Prius Five. Got the “out the door” price and paid cash. When I went to finalize the paperwork, I let them know that according to Toyota, the VIN was for a Prius Four. A quick check of tire size, etc. confirmed this. We haggled a bit, and because I needed a car as.a.p., I agreed to buy it anyway without any perks or discounts because I was told ALL costs & fees were included. I was told the cost of the title transfer and that It was immediate. I again verified ALL costs were being paid that day. I checked with DMV & the title had been transferred. A little over a month later, I renewed my tags. THREE months later to the day, I receive an invoice for the tag transfer. What?!?! I called trying to offer the same payment I used for the car - my credit card - and they refused noting I might cancel the payment. Again, what?!?! It was good for $13,000, but not for $80.35?!?! So, now I have to buy envelopes and stamps and a money order. I DEFINITELY would not recommend anyone go there. They incorrectly identify their vehicles for higher mark-up and looking like a deal when you comparison shop, then they hit you up for fees supposedly taken care of during the final paperwork (my error, I did not read EVERYTHING with a magnifying glass and a lawyer present). All I can do at this point is warn others NOT to go there.

I would not recommend this dealer.
