Poor Service

Mark, front Manager makes snide remarks, is arrogant, and pushes to give them top ratings. Their only interested to help you when not busy. Took car there for all service and always had to wait longer than told and prices are very high. Twice needed services right away due to issue and was told had to wait for a week. Ended up going somewhere else where they got the part from Bill Baileys who told me had to be ordered, and had my car completed that day. Last incident and why I will NEVER go to them again is because I had to order part and was told they would call me it would take 3 days for part to be in and could have it installed with 7 days. That was on the 25th of July. Yesterday, August 7, 2017 stopped in to ask did part come in. Mark with his snide arrogant attitude said let me check. After 5 minutes he strolls in and says here are your parts. I told him I didn't want them as I was not called. He proceeded to tell me the service department did call and left message. I said what number it was not my cell or home and snidely says it's the number on file. I said no it's not and I specifically gave you my cell number and that you had my home number also. I ask for credit he said absolutely not and to take my parts. I say no I am very disappointed with your service on this matter and that I was overcharged for these parts I could get them for a 1/4 of the cost. He said we only charge what Kia tells us .I told him no I am not taking parts and would talk with my credit card company. Mark stands taller looks at me and arrogantly said "Good Luck With That". I walked out

Great local small dealer that focuses on the needs of there customers. They will also make sure your informed but do not push products down your throat. Brian my sales guy let me drive a variety of cars without any pressure to buy any of them and never once complained about the below freezing Temps. If and when I need another car I am coming here for new or used. Best dealer around

Quick, Easy and Friendly

I went into the Dealership in a very sticky situation. I had a used Kia Optima I still owed $6,300 on that I was cosigned on with my ex-fiance. Naturally I didn't have the money to pay it off and no bank would refinance it without me having to pay a couple grand out of pocket. I was immediately greeted by Ron who was warm and friendly and answered any question I had. I chose to purchase a brand new Kia Optima 2016. Not only did they manage to keep my payments reasonable for me they were also able to pay off my current loan and hide my negative equity. I was able to drive off the lot with a brand new car and the entire thing was so easy and pleasant!

Excellent Buying Experience

My wife and I spent 3 working days test driving new SUVs and talking "drive away" pricing for an end-of-model-year SUV at dealerships all over the Frederick, MD area. While car buying seems easier than it once was, no dealership was as hard-working and as creative as the staff of Bill Baisey Kia in Frederick,, Maryland in pricing the new 2016 Kia Sorento LX tht we ended up buying.. Our salesman, Ron Torre and the dealership owner - Mr Baisey himself - were far more generous than any of the other SUV dealers in assessing the value of our trade-in automobile and that generosity and creativity was the reason we purchased our new Kia Sorento from Bill Baiey Kia in Frederick, Maryland

Bought a 2016 Kia Soul and had a very good experience. Ron was our sales agent and promptly came out and greeted us. He was very knowledgeable about KIAs and showed us several different models. He was very patient as we weren't quite sure which model we were going to go with. He was very low pressure which is much appreciated as it takes some stress out of the car buying experience. The finance portion was also very easy and the paperwork didn't take long to complete. Thank you for a great experience.

Pleasant, easy experience

Not real trusting right now

Purchased a car and cancelled the gap insurance within the week. I was told I'd be sent a refund check. It's been almost two months and have received nothing. Called a month ago and it was my understanding it wasn't submitted so the guy could get his commission. When I called today, it was at the bottom of a pile, having not been processed yet. I'm not getting a very good vibe from this experience. The people are friendly, but now looking back, a little shady.

Mixed Feelings

I have mixed feelings about them because I grew up in the same area and went to school with the family, I liked the prices and the cars sell themselves. I had a problem with having to pay $ 10. for their valve stem covers and a high price for mud flaps they put on. I asked them to take off the valve stem covers and they wouldn't and I asked for a car they had on the lot that didn't have anything installed and they made excuses why it was not ready. Then came the financing we were told we had to pay a high rate. I didn't question this because we were still waiting for the insurance to pay us for our other car, but later when I checked my credit report it came up 860. the week earlier I had taken my son there and helped him buy an identical car. NOW this being said a little while later we went to refinance the car and were turned down for a lower rate and were told there was a IRS lean on our credit. We checked and there was none BUT we have found out other people have had this problem so much for the 860 credit rating. We have been back for service and one warrenty problem and I find the guys are slammed with customers during certain times but if you go when they are not every one takes plenty of time and workers with you really well. Like I said mixed feelings. I would still buy another car there and I am looking now.

Best Deal!

I have had my car to this dealers service many many times each time they say something diffrent is wrong and never fix the problem sometimes I have only had my car back a few days and the check engine light is back on again I think they are just resetting it and not doing anything to fix my car Last time they had my car for 10 days week before Christmas and now same problem is back they said they had to order a part at that visit and now they said they need to order another part to fix this same problem. I have only had my car to this dealer for all work and I am very frustrated with the service dept that they continue to fail to fix my car IS THIS A SCAM !!! Bad parts Bad service who know nothing about what they are suppose to be doing

Poor service center

Service center back in 2011 refused to fix my 2006 Kia Sedona under warranty. It was just a simple foot rest that broke off of it's bolts. Which is strange considering the plastic foot rest was completely fine. They refused to fix this, the guy whom stated he was the service manager blamed it on me for being overweight and told me by. Since that period, I have paid well over $120,000 in new cars. Bill Baisey, you haven't seen a cent of that money of mine.

Slimy

I took my daughter to this dealership to try the Soul. A few days later we went back to make sure it was the car she wanted and make a purchase. The sales guy was nice, but could not give me a straight answer about the price difference between a base model with back up camera and a + with only the back up camera (not loaded with options). I kept getting vague answers between a couple hundred dollars to $1,500 difference. I told him I wanted to talk to someone who could answer my simple question. He takes me into an office with an older guy who starts the hard sell of how it doesn't matter because they have such great financing. When I told him I didn't care about financing, he tried to insult me by shouting for everyone in the dealership to hear "Why wouldn't anyone want 0% financing?" I shouted back that I would pay for the car and not finance it. Then he tried to tell me Kia wasn't producing the lower end models an shipping them to the dealerships yet. I told him he was nuts and left. I went to Hagerstown Kia and they had 8 of them on the lot with our choice of colors. Hagerstown Kia was up front with prices and came to a fair deal. She drove her new Soul home that day. I will never buy from Bill Baisey Kia - they gave me a dishonest and sneaky impression!

They try every trick in the book off you a price on your trade in then when the deal is almost done offer you a lower price. Also never went over the car with me then a month later I get a form with everything check as if they went over it with my name forged.

Cheats, liars

I just had the most insanely negative experience at Bill Baisey Kia in Frederick,MD this morning at around 9:30am. I wanted to buy a new 2015 Soul from them. I actually originally visited them yesterday. First they tried to rip me off on the interest rate. They told me I only qualified for a rate of 6%. I have GOOD credit and actually qualified for 1.99% at my credit union (which usually has bad rates). I called them out on this and they backtracked and told me some kind of nonsense about it being the end of the month and that was really the rate, blah, blah, blah. When they told me that I could use my own financing I decided to go back and buy the car. I thought I was walking out with a car that cost 16,500 (they told me via text that I might get that deal if I came in). I was completely ready to buy and had a neighbor drop me off at the dealer so I could drive my new car home. We agree to a price of 16,799. Well.... I sit down to do the paperwork and suddenly they are adding on FREIGHT and an "appearance package". Which bring the price BACK UP. The 'on the road price' is creeping up and now is well into the 19,000 range. I start questioning this, and they act like I'm an idiot. I call a friend who sells Land Rovers for advice. He is like, 'the freight should be in the sale price and the appearance package is just baloney'. I give the phone to the salesman so he can talk to my friend. The salesmen, Corey, then goes to his "manager" (sadly - I can't remember the manager's name). Anyway, all of the sudden the salesmen comes back, puts my phone on the desk and says, "we are not selling you a car - you need to leave". I HAD TO WALK HOME ALMOST TWO MILES AND IT WAS 20 DEGREES OUTSIDE WITH A WINDCHILL OF 10 AND ALL I HAD ON WAS A FLIMSY COAT!!! I've been buying cars for 30 years and I have NEVER been lied to and treated this poorly EVER. At this point I was not ever going to buy a Kia - EVER, but my friend who works for Land Rover called and said he spoke to the saleswoman at King Kia in Gaithersburg and that they would give me a fair price and treat me with respect. I called them up and they were WONDERFUL. I had to drive nearly 30 miles to get the car but it was SO worth it. I got the car on the road for 18,392 and used my financing. I've only had the car for three hours but I love it and I'm so thankful the crew and King Kia came through for me.(Valerie was the saleswoman and Shaheed was the helpful person who showed me how to use the car and explained all their service to me). I will be calling the Maryland BBB about my experience at Bill Baisey Kia and and filing a complaint. It's bad enough that they lied, but then when I called them out they treated me terribly. I will warn everyone I know of Facebook and Twitter not to do business with them.

I went all over looking for a new Kia Soul. I stopped by Bill Baisey Kia and was greeted by Thomas Barker. He answered all my questions and was a very good salesman.
