Had a great experience with Bill Kay Buick GMC. Was able to get exactly what I wanted and I didn’t feel like I was being hassled or bombarded with calls and emails. Great Truck and Sales Team

I found a great truck online and living in the west, was uncertain if the transaction would be smooth and worth the effort. I was contacted by Roger Nicklaus who was very attentive, answered all my questions and made my purchase easy. Roger volunteered to pick me up at the airport to expedite the sale. Overall, everyone in the dealership was great and everything explained. I'd recommend the dealership for anyone local or long distance.

Always honest and fair. I have worked with this business since 2002 and have found the experience to be favorable. Hopefully this is enough words. Easy breezy and no delay at Bill Kay!

The entire staff was not only helpful and friendly but extremely informative and quite communicative along the way as the job was completed. I would highly recommend them to anybody who needs to buy a new car or service one.

Staff is wonderful, tactics are misleading

Jazmine was great getting our visit to see a used car we were interested in set up and Gee (our salesman) was very patient with us. We didn't ask for a final price, though, at the beginning of the process at Bill Kay Buick GMC. We should have, because we had already invested a lot of time and effort into our search and had decided this was 'the car.' Then the usual waiting around, maintenance contract added into the final price, but the real kicker was that there was interior protection already added that increased the price substantially and was added in after we had decided the price was good. I would only recommend this dealer if you are a skilled negotiator. I know it's their business to make a buck, but I ended feeling very bitter that we paid so much for something we didn't want

I went to Bill Kay of Downers Grove to look at two used vehicles I saw on their web page. Roger Nicklaus said both cars were available and had one brought up. We went for a test drive and on return the second car was at the shoe room for a test drive. After the test drive I said I was interested in the second car. Roger is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions including the ones I neglected to ask. Roger had the car checked and readied while Noel Rivera guided me thru the final paper work to complete the purchase. I bought the second car and am happy and satisfied with the purchase.

Good deal.

I walked into the dealership and was greeted right away by Herb the salesman. Talked a little and he grabbed some keys and out the door we went for a test drive. 40 minutes later we sat down with Noel and were doing paper work on a truck we have been looking for for a month. I feel we received a good deal on a used truck.

Got it right after all

Had my vehicle in for the 4th time to address the check engine light & issues with the emissions system. After ~$4500 in repairs & no resolution along with getting a call from a salesman who knew all about my repairs, I was rather unhappy. But, Zack took care of me, the tech found the issue, repaired it at no charge, and the check engine light remains off. Customer Service from the service writers, porters, & cashiers has always been excellent!

I would recommend this dealer.

3rd time is not the charm

Check engine light came on in March and had it checked out. In March, stated it was a problem with the emissions system and had $1800 of work done including a tune up (fuel injector service, new spark plugs, etc.) to address the problem. 24 hours later, check engine light went on. Had it rechecked a few days later and was suggested to run a couple of tanks of gas through it as it will sometimes clear. This didn't work. Check engine light on/off over the next couple of months. Returned to dealer and had both catalytic converters replaced to the tune of $3200. Upon starting my vehicle IN THE DEALER LOT, the check engine light came back on. The service writers have been pleasant to deal with and the customer service overall has been good. What makes me skeptical about the quality and motivations for the recommended repairs is that I received a call from a salesman who knew that I had a lot of repairs made and was asking about my interest in trading in the vehicle and purchasing a new one. Now, I'm concerned that I'm being played by both the service and sales departments. Thus, I'm leaning against recommending this dealer for service when previously I was pleasantly surprised by the work and customer service. We'll see if they make this right...

Battery kept dying

I brought my car in for a battery that was dying every time I turned the car off. The battery was only 18 months old. Mike tester my car, found that the battery was bad, and replaced it under warranty. He also took care of my oil change while I was there. I was out in 90 minutes. Great service! Thank you!

- So called "OEM" towing hitch needs welding at the outlet plate; - Missing "SV" letters on tail gate; - Left back wheel lug bolt broken during service, and lug nut with broken bolt inside left in the center console; I emailed collision center regarding this issue and no answer. The only reason that i took my truck to "Bill Kay" was that it is a Nissan dealership and i was hopping for best service. Unfortunately I regret my decision.
