Very easy car purchase. Rex helped us make sure we got the car we needed with the options we wanted. No hassles or feeling like we were being misled. All paperwork was done in a very timely matter and they even took the time to introduce us to the service center.

Great place all around

I got a car off salesman Levi and that was great experience. Then I ended up having a flat tire oneday from a nail and saw my tire was dry rotted and they covered everything and very quickly. Very great place and friendly too. Highly recommend boardman nissan.

Demetrius was the salesman when my husband and I came into Boardman Nissan. He was very nice and helpful. Also the car needed a front license plate bracket that was not noticed until I purchased plates.I talked to a man named Shaun and he took care of it for me. Our experience there has been great.

This was our second time leasing a vehicle from Boardman Nissan. Rex, our sales memeber was so nice and informative. He was concerned about what we were looking for and wanted in our new car. He made the process almost too easy. The finance manager was friendly and helped us get everything settled and signed in a short amount of time. He wasn’t pushy about the upgrades to the coverage. We will definitely stick with Boardman Nissan.

Murano Purchase

Terrible experience --

I am writing this letter to share my experience that I had at Boardman Nissan this past Saturday. My girlfriend had been shopping for a new vehicle for a few weeks and we stopped at Boardman Nissan where she had a mediocre reception the week before. Despite the poor previous visit she was interested in giving Boardman Nissan a second try. Her salesperson, Wesley, was warm and inviting. He showed genuine interest in helping his customer find a vehicle. All was going well until we sat down to discuss financing. The numbers that he provided were not what she had been originally quoted and more importantly did not follow the rules of basic arithmetic. The amount for a monthly payment given to us by Wesley was about 100 dollars more than what my CAR PAYMENT CALCULATOR tool was giving me. We reviewed the price of the car, the interest rate, and the number of months and we still came up with different amounts. He sai that there were "other factors" that caused an increase of 100 dollars and required a down payment of $3000.00. We asked what the "other factors" were and he said he would get his manager. The Sales Manager, "BIG JOHN" arrived and said, “ ok what have we got here” and, “ what is it going to take to get you into your new car, sweetie?” Sweetie? Was the year suddenly 1960? I was willing to overlook his use of derogatory terms for my girlfriend and myself like "sweetie", "hun", and "bud" if we could just arrive at a mutually fair agreement. I once again reviewed the data for John. "This is the price of the car, correct?" "Yes", he said "And this is the interest rate, correct?" "Yes" , he said "And this is the number of months we are looking at for the loan, correct?" "Yes", he said again. I showed him the CAR PAYMENT CALCULATOR tool I had with the monthly payment amount and I said that his amounts were off. He smiled and said, "that doesn't matter." Doesn't matter? He again referred to his payment that was almost 100 dollars more than mine. I told him that he was incorrect and I encouraged him to share his math with me. John leaned back in his chair and with a sarcastic sneer on his face said, "What is it you are not understanding?" I was shocked. "What is it you are not understanding?" I could not believe that a SALES MANAGER at Boardman Nissan would speak to a customer like that. Is this the type of behavior that Boardman Nissan breeds into its sales culture? John was insulting, condescending, and not the least bit professional. Boardman Nissan should be ashamed that they employ such garbage. What an embarrassment to your dealership. Is this how you treat all of your customers? Are your staff members given any exposure to good customer service skills training? We abruptly got up to leave and as we stepped out the door John called out, "have a nice day, hun". The experience was one of the worst customer service nightmares I have ever witnessed. BIG JOHN was ignorant, rude, and clearly not trained for the position he holds at the dealership. How sad for Boardman Nissan that they have to resort to hiring stereotypical used car salesman to sell their vehicles. In order to help others avoid the terrible treatment that we were given I will be sharing our story via Twitter, Facebook, Google Reviews, Glassdoor, and other sites. A copy of this letter will be mailed to Nissan Corporate headquarters and the Better Business Bureau as well. I would suggest that at the next weekly "sales meeting" time should be dedicated to reviewing some basic concepts like Courtesy, Ethics, Professionalism, Character, and Integrity. Those items are sorely lacking at the establishment. Look Elsewhere for your next car.

My BEAUTIFUL experience at Nissan Boardman

I needed a car; I had been turned down AND put down by other dealerships for my low credit score. What is sad about that is everyone has a circumstance -people are basically good. Nissan Boardman knew I was more than my credit score. My agent, Wesley Collier, was so kind and non-judgemental. He and the financial staff worked tirelessly -past closing, to get me in to a BRAND NEW car! I have prayed and prayed to get at least a used car. God had a plan and NISSAN too! Now with Nissan's faith in me, I feel restored and ready to conquer my credit score. In 3 years I intend to be better than ever and in to a Titan. Thank you Wesley and all the hard working kind staff there! I was a true die hard Chevy girl with bad credit. Now, Im a proud #1 Nissan girl forever! God Bless Wesley and all the staff at Nissan Boardman.

Love the Parts Department

Paul, Eric, Tony and Justin have all been great with helping me get the parts for my ‘06 Xterra! Justin has been great to the point that when I call he KNOWS who I am! My truck has over 320k miles and that kinda sticks out when I call over for parts! Only thing that I don’t appreciate is when I pull into the dealership and already being hounded by sales reps. Can’t get out of my truck before someone is already hovering over me like a vulture! That is very annoying to me. But the guys in the parts department are just AWESOME!!!!! Great to deal with always!

Exceeded my expectations

Always a little cautious of not getting a fair deal at dealerships I found Boardman Nissan to be a very honest and up front to purchase a car. I worked with both Wes ‘s that work there and they helped me get the perfect car for what I wanted to pay. I never felt pressured into buying a car. Even though I was there till way after closing time I did not rushed to make a decision. My salesman Wes took time to show me on his tablet all of my cat’s features and answered all my questions even going as far as to show me where to park for my free oil changes. I would highly recommend checking this dealership out when you are car shopping.. Rick G.

Rip off place

Hey don’t go here if you want to trade a vehicle or buy a used vehicle. They know that something is wrong and the mechanics tell you “it’s normal...these cars are known to make noises.” Took my mechanic and needs $1000 of work. When called and talked to sales men and manager they said that my trade in needed work so they will call it even but yet they selling my vehicle for 5000above Kelly blue book and had it up for sale in less then 24 hours ( they did not do any work on it). They don’t honor their sales and they idea of certified preowned is not to do the proper checks. Warning to all buyers DO NOT go here the quality and service is horrible. Buy Nissan anywhere but in Boardman. 1 star is generous!

Best customer service experience

There are two things that made my experience exceptional One: Nissan company itself. Being a young foreign professional without significant credit history I faced difficulties in getting approvals from financial services of other brands but not Nissan. Add to the fact that the car itself is loaded with features and drives wonderfully and I got the best I could hope for Two: the people and customer service at Nissan Boardman specifically. I was greeted by Rex, who patiently took down all my requirements, and pulled out a single car that met my needs. And after I finalized it put personal effort to make me an amazing deal that was acceptable for me without the usual back and forth. Even when I drove away the car he called and emailed regularly to make sure I was happy with the car and everything was going smooth. I would recommend everyone to go to this dealership to get excellent cars with excellent customer care. Cheers!

My wife and I stopped into the dealership on Friday 10-24-18 shopping for s.u.v. style vehicles. Sam greeted us and welcomed us to their dealership. We have been shopping multiple makes and models to compare, and we told this to Sam and he totally understood where we were in the process. We wanted to look at the Rogue model with a few more questions and answers Sam had a new Rogue pulled up outside and promptly answered every thing we asked of him. Absolutely not pressured into anything. We would suggest that you call ahead and ask for Sam Shipton and John sales manager.

Its a love/hate thing
