xxxxxxxx

By martinez1441 on 9/8/2019 at 4:31 AM. Helped by Service is a joke.

I Bought a truck from these guys. A newer power wagon. They sold me on the "extended warranty". When it came time to honor the extended warranty, they will use every excuse in the book to avoid working on warranty related issues. They will blame you, the previous owner, anybody but themselves. I took my truck in recently to have the ignition system worked on, and they fixed a recall issue while i had it in there. it was in relation to the shifter and slipping/popping out of gear when parked. When they put things back together, the shift/gear selector switch on the shift lever no longer worked. It worked up until they messed with it, how could that not be there fault? they tried blaming me, when that didn't work they tried blaming the previous owner saying that he put in an after market stereo and messed up the wiring. The radio was in fact original "FACTORY" equipment. The guy running the shop there is a moron. IMO... I recommend buying your vehicle elsewhere because if something happens it's these morons that are going to work on your vehicle (or make excuses about why your extended warranty doesn't actually cover anything. They wouldn't even do diagnostics on my truck under warranty. This place is a total scam. I have never dealt with such a xxxxxxx bunch at a dealership before. This is only a few of the issues i had with these guys, theres more, but im done typing... save yourself the hassle.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Banned from Speaking with or entering Dealer premises

By Bobr on 8/18/2019 at 6:22 PM. Helped by Jeff Service Manager and Jeremy Service Manager(Jeremy banned me).

I have been trying to get answers on work performed on my 2006 Ram 3500 Mega Cab since Boulder Doge worked on it July 18th 2019, They have asked for paperwork from me which I have provided to their e mail address Jeff Service Manager provided. I was told to contact Chrysler Dodge by Jeff which I did (opened a case)and was referred back to the Dealer as they performed the work. I contacted the Dealer again (Jeff) Service Manager and was told the area Manager has to deal with this, Jeff told me he would phone me back didn’t happen. August 16 th Friday I spoke with Jeremy Service Manager who told me the Area Manager was in hospital and Jeff had gone home. He could also not answer my questions. Saturday morning Service Manager Jeremy telephoned me and talks at me, when I asked my questions he spoke over me yelling I dont listen was aggressive and condescending Jeff told me to get a lawyer and contact Chrysler Dodge and Then he told me never to contact Boulder Dodge again and never come to the Dealership and slammed the phone down. I was never asking for money only an explanation on why certain work was done along with why in writing I was told all my brakes front and rear were metal to metal cost$1500..I had my brakes checked at another reputable place and they showed me the brakes and put in writing the state which was NOT metal to metal. I contacted the Boulder Internet chat and provide my info and asked for the General Manager to contact me. UPDATE August 20th. The General Manager contacted me from Boulder Dodge and said he would speak with Service Manager Jeremy and I am not banned but to deal with another Service Manager. The General Manager also explained that the experience Boulder Dodge Technicians have is they can tell the brake wear and whether the pads and disks need replacing without looking at them (I am amazed as everywhere else take the wheels off and look before telling the Customer they have to pay $1500). I would think very hard and deep before having any work done at this Dealership even if they can diagnose measurements without looking.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Repairs are made up and charges are excessive

By Mark Stangl on 8/8/2019 at 9:31 PM. Helped by Jeremy, Jeff Andre Copeland.

My history Boulder Dodge goes back many years. I have bought three vehicles off of their lot over the years when they were Valley Dodge before they moved to their current location. I think we all know that things are usually look a bit more expensive at dealerships and we have to be cautious, but I felt like I was always treated fairly. In the last couple of years of been purchasing oil change cards that are good for four changes and a service check. In the past, they've come up with a big, expensive list of things that needed work. I have have taken most recommendations to other places and found that I could get the work done cheaper are even that the work wasn't even needed. So still, I am going there for oil changes until recently. I went in and I had some noise in my front in suspension and I asked them to take a look at it. They could not do it at that time because of a shortage of personnel. They still change the oil and made a service check Two weeks later I had an appointment to check the suspension (I had previously taken it to another place and they said there's nothing wrong with the front in suspension), but I wanted to take it there to make sure. Once the Dodge guys got a hold of it again they came up with about $3600 project, even adding things onto the potential bill that were listed as okay two weeks before. They gave me a bill for looking for $140 which I paid. They had also added that I needed a brake job, which turned out to be not necessary, and they took that off of the $3600 quote because Jeremy realized that I had been in two weeks before and everything had been rated is okay. Sunday, one of my friends commented that if they don't give you a written signed form on what the price will or they are limited to $75 charge which I would have paid. When I went in there to complain about that they refunded my money and told not to come back again and lied about telling me that they had told me what the fee would be. That was an outright lie and was repeated over and over again. I the end when they tell me I would never come again, I didn't have to say that yes I agree, you didn't have to say that. I had taken the vehicle now to two other places that told me that there is nothing wrong with the front suspension and that could have the work done and although not necessary and there were no charges for the examinations. It might improve the sound quality of my suspension, but it would be less than half the price of a quoted. Boulder Dodge did return my$140, lied about what was said and offered. I have learned my lesson with Boulder Dodge.

I would not recommend this dealer.

$5000 to fix a car I bought a week ago

By Slightlypissedoff897 on 3/16/2019 at 7:02 PM. Helped by Chris.

We purchased a car here a week ago, it started making a squeaking sound a day after we purchased it. As the days went on it became a loud clanking sound. I brought it in to a local shop to find out it needs all new front end ball joints, control arms, upper and lower, tie rod ends and suspension. We can not get a call back from the dealership and are now looking at over $5000.00 in repairs. Stay away from this dealership!!

Dwight was great, all others were well below average. Manage

By Jharsy on 7/7/2018 at 12:23 AM. Helped by Dwight, Tyler.

Dwight was great. All others were not responsive and hard edged. I had to call twice to make offers, and they didn’t respond until I called twice. The vehicle was on their lot 90 days and was a fair opportunity but seemed they were waiting for the “sucker” to come along. Best of luck. If you go to Boulder Dodge, ask for Dwight. Young, but great instincts and wanting the best for the buyer and seller.

Tony was terrible, new high end truck, delivery dirty, not even a thank you or introduction to service department. Will never go back! Sales manager didn’t introduce himself or even say thank either.

By RamUnlimited on 6/27/2018 at 7:50 PM. Helped by Tyler Grubich, Randy Grubbs.

Performed major repair and left crucial components incomplete - like not attaching the gas line to the tank! Promised reimbursement, which never came in the mail, so I am compelled to warn other potential victims.

Consistent & High Standard

By Michel on 6/1/2018 at 11:29 PM. Helped by Jeff.

Been coming here for a number of years now - have traveled and been to other service department dealerships as far as South Florida and every time I was in another state getting my truck serviced, I'd wish they were Boulder Ram. The standard of care is extraordinary and consistent. They genuinely care about their clients. It shows.

Best experience I have ever had buying a car

By Vador262000 on 3/16/2018 at 9:54 PM. Helped by Tony.

I prequalified for a car and the car I wanted was at Boulder Dodge. My previous experiences told me that I would have to figure everything out before I arrived. I showed up at Boulder Dodge 30 minutes before they closed. Not only did they do exactly what I wanted as far as financing, but they even got me a better percentage rate than what I qualified for. The 2 guys that helped me made it a more personal experience as well as doing everything they could to accommodate my requirements. I will be going back!

I would recommend this dealer.

The service department is awful, slow and understaffed.

By jim Cloar on 12/2/2017 at 5:18 PM. Helped by service lead Saturday 12/2.

This dealer's service department is slow, understaffed and just awful. Waited almost an hour to pick up my truck. One guy, a long line, and then they bring out the wrong car. Not sure I want a dealer working on my car that brings someone the wrong car. I have a 2015 Dodge Ram eco deisel and I will never go back to the dealer that I purchased it from. Horrible service. When the service guy brought me my key...finally, he did not even acknowledge the mistakes and the wait. Stay away from these people. Y

Go to another dealership

By nadean tanner tanner on 11/21/2017 at 8:34 PM. Helped by Tyler.

I have always purchased new because I want the warranty. I purchased used because I really wanted an FJ and they are no longer in production. When we took possession, we noted the driver side tire was low, they aired it up and since I travel quite a bit for work, I did not drive the car very much. After taking the car to a Toyota dealership, they said that tire was unsafe and should not have rolled off the lot. My children and I trusted this dealership and shouldn't have. Upon reflection and after a returned phone call, basically lesson learned and they will do/did nothing. Go to another dealership.

I would not recommend this dealer.

HORRIBLE!!

By LJF on 11/15/2017 at 12:00 AM. Helped by General Manager and all service employees.

The worst customer service, Slow, I had to call for updates. Took 5 days to tell me I needed a new clutch, which I already knew...wanted $1000.00 more then another local boulder shop and would not pay for my car rental that they said they would cover at $35/day for 5 days because I took it elsewhere.

Don't waste your time here

By Jonathan on 7/29/2017 at 2:29 AM. Helped by Greg, Paul.

I regret doing business here 100%. Worst new car delivery I have ever experienced. Vehicle was returned to me dirty with rubbing compound all over the grille and muddy footprints all over the door sill and footwell. Sales guy looked me right in the eye and sighed "Oh did you want that cleaned?" The service writer actually told me he didn't know what he was doing. It was pretty obvious because they replaced the wrong parts. I can't even bring my self to go back there to get it straightened out. Bottom line, if you're thinking about buying one of Ram's highest end trucks and expect to be treated with pride and respect, don't go to Boulder Chrysler.

I would not recommend this dealer.
