The staff, Chris, was very gentle and nice and informed and updated the situation of my car promptly. Overall, everything is good. I wish the car wash service could be given so I will be more happy to leave the service center with more comfort and being cleaned even myself.

Trust filled experience working with Rylee

Rylee went above an beyond to really find the exact car I wanted at more than a fair selling price. It was my first time buying a car and I was worried that the dealer I got would be intimidating but she was very sweet and sold me the car as if she was selling it to her own daughter! I would 100% recommend her to anyone who is planning on buying a car. She has gained my trust 100%, she really is the best part of Brent Brown Toyota!

This was my 6th car purchased at Brent Brown and I absolutely appreciate working with them every time. No matter who assists me from sales, they are knowledgeable about the vehicles and they treat me with the utmost respect and courtesy. Financial Team is also very helpful and not pushy on those final touch options (e.g. extended warranty etc.). Accessories Team was also most excellent. They helped me review all available aftermarket options for each vehicle on request (e.g. lift, tires, floor mats etc.).

We Bought A New Car!!

We headed over to Brent Brown Toyota in Orem, just to look around at the cars. My husband wanted to show me what a Yaris looked like, and we thought it would be a fun trip. We also thought we would be safe from having any salesmen be there because it was later in the day, and we thought they would be closed. We did not want to have a salesmen trying to sell us a car, when we were just there to look. Well, when we drove in, and started to go towards the cars, we noticed that the dealership was still opened. We thought that we would maybe just leave, and come back when everyone was gone. Then, a young man started walking our way, and asked us if we needed any help. We decided that he seemed nice enough, and asked him if he could show us where the Yaris models were. He said he could, and he introduced himself as Carter. He was very knowledgeable about all of the models there, so we explained that we were looking for a used vehicle, because we didn't want to spend too much. We asked him if there were any standard shift Yaris. He said that there were actually two new Yaris that had standard shifts, and he could work to get one of them down to our price range. He was so sweet and not pushy at all, so we decided to take one for a drive. Carter jumped into the back seat, and we went for a little spin. By the time we returned to the dealership, we had made up our minds to return on the following Saturday, and buy a new car. Carter helped us through each step we had to take, and made us feel supported and cared for. We were so impressed with his personality and knowledge! We never would have stayed to look at cars, and for sure would have stuck with our decision to get a used car, had it not been for Carter's thoughtfulness and his wonderful ability to listen to us, rather than just do all the talking. We will recommend Carter to any of our friends and family who are looking for a car.

You got to the 10 yard line on a "perfect drive"

Don't get me wrong. We are VERY pleased with the car we bought. Rylee was great. Just know that when you are negotiating, you DO NOT want to see your salesperson "high fiving" the sales manager, as in "Congratulations, you did indeed get the best of the customer". Although I saw it from across the room, it makes me, the customer, feel used . . .taken advantage of . . . manipulated. Guys, it used to be that unhappy customers told 26 people about their negative experience (IBM study). Today it is thousands, and in the case of someone like me, who can use this story as an example in my public presentations, books, seminars . . . it could be tens of thousands. I have done enough sales training of car salespeople to know the pressures and expectations you are under. Just know that the customer can sense and feel if they are being taken advantage of. Thank you for the great car. Just use more discretion in your selling techniques. Kordell

Excellent Service and Friendly Staff!!!

Excellent experience! I reached out via the website to get more information on a Tacoma that I was interested in. Rylee was the saleswoman I dealt with, and was nothing short of fantastic. I live out of state, and was able to negotiate the deal over the phone and via email. Rylee then put me in touch with Kerry, who was very helpful and responsive (even after hours) in getting me setup with some bigger tires prior to taking delivery of the truck. Upon arrival we were, of course, greeted with helpful and friendly faces--Rylee even had goodie bags for the kids. Paperwork was nearly complete by the time we arrived, and the truck was detailed and ready to go. The paperwork did not take long, as Rory was very well organized and friendly. He even handled our out-of-state sales tax and registration. I very much appreciated that his pitch for additional services, warranties, etc., was not overly aggressive or high pressure. Total time at the dealership was less than 2 hours. Overall great experience, and would definitely recommend!

I despise Car shopping, but . . .

I hate buying cars! HATE IT! I harbor intense loathing for the entire process, from test drives to waiting to hear from the bank, the abnormally large papers I have to sign 348 times and initial 372. The entire process from walking through the door to the faint tingles of regret and uncertainty driving home fills me with a level of angst I am hard pressed to adequately describe. Then I bought a vehicle from Rylee Hansen, and the experience was nothing like what I was used to. From the moment she met us with a smile to the time we drove off the lot and the whole ride home, it was comfortable and pleasant. No pushing, no upsell, no “let me go talk to the manager and see what we can do.” No “what’s it going to take to get you into this car.” None of that. She listened, she handled everything and took care of us in a way that made sure that I will be calling her for every vehicle I buy from now on.

Rylee was so amazing to work with! She was efficient and knowledgeable. Our time at the dealership was well spent. Rylee made sure we were taken care of both financially and physically during our shopping experience. Her customer service was exceptional. We loved the care and consideration she took in finding us the perfect car! I had a list of things I wanted (some were fairly unreasonable) and she met every one of them with ease. I highly recommend Rylee Hansen and Brent Brown Toyota for all your car buying needs!

Pros AND Cons

The sales team that sold us our Tundra was awesome.. from Bruce in the St. George (Steven Wade) store, to Riley, to Drew that showed us everything we wanted and had plenty of patients through the whole process.. then Andy (finance manager) who sealed the deal!! But the CONS of the experience were that we had extras (wheels and tired) that the customer relations manager never and still hasn’t emailed me so I can look through the options so they can get the rims, tires and leveling kit ordered!!!

Easiest and Best Car Buying Experience. PERIOD

I've know Rylee since we were kids. After finding out she worked with Brent Brown Toyota it was a no brainer to talk with her and find the perfect vehicle for my growing family. I gave her the specifics of what I was looking for and needing and she absolutely delivered! Not only are we in the Perfect vehicle, but going through Rylee was the Easiest and Best Car Buying experience I've ever had, HANDS DOWN! Never once was I pressured, and when I voiced my concerns she took them to heart and really helped me instead of just filling me with hot air just to get a sale. As long as Rylee is at Brent Brown, she will have me and my family as customers! Thank You Rylee and thank you Brent Brown Toyota of Orem

Not a typical buying experience

Usually buying a car can be stressful with choices, financing vs leasing, price negotiations etc. I have 3 cars now from Brent Brown and I highly recommend the dealership and working with Rylee Hansen. She put in a lot if effort to make the process painless and seamless with her and Andy Butcher. Together they made it an enjoyable experience.

Lots of good attention!

First phone contact with Rylee was great- she referred me to Brock since she wasn’t going to be working the day I came. Brock was so professional and sweet and helpful. He found the answers to all of my questions. I am not an easy sell so after a few sales people and a floor manager or two I was able to negotiate a deal that worked for me. My only suggestion would be to offer some healthy snacks to buyers (for free) because a hard negotiation can take hours and when the blood sugar gets too low all bets are off and they are likely to lose sales.

Great Experience

I was very impressed with the sales team and especially with Dallas. He did not pressure me at all into making a decision, was able to help find terms that fit me, and when I had to make a tee time they rushed all the paperwork through so I could make my time. I would recommend working with Brent Brown Toyota to anyone looking for a car.

Good people hope when we have warranty issues or service we get the same treatment seems to me that when you by all the extra warranty stuff there is always an excuse to get extra money hope all goes well with this dealership

Not as good as previously.

By HappyFolks on 7/8/2019 at 7:07 PM. Helped by Bob is our sales rep - we've known him for years - no worries there. I won't indicate any of the service personnel; they were trying hard but the line of communication they were working under got in their way..

There is something in how the Service Center is set up that is different and not as on point. The only way I can describe it is that there seems to be one or more extra layers of communication that one has to go through in order to make contact with an actual service rep. In the past, there were familiar faces I recognized and they recognized me - we bought our Rav4 at Brent Brown 17 years ago and only allow BB service to touch it. Our salesman always recognizes and greets us. PLEASE find a way to restore the personal touch you once had in the service area. There is already so little trust involved in car buying so when we customers settle in and find a "home" like Brent Brown you want us to always feel part of the family. I love you all - what I experienced seems to be an administrative change, nothing to do the with actual service personnel involved. Please do restore the right feeling, however!
