Great overall service experience

Bernie is a super nice guy. Repairs did take a while but we were told when dropping it off it would be two weeks before anyone could look at it. Took another two weeks after that to get issues ironed out. I was kept informed the whole way through. They do need to look at the phone system though. When transferring to extensions it hangs up if no one answers. Growing pains I’m sure as they just remodeled store.

Last minute appointment

After running over some sharp metal object, my tire warning light came on. This is the worst possible week for something like this to happen! I'm so grateful that Rick squeezed me in to get this issue taken care of. The tire had to be replaced, but my Road Hazard Protection covered it. Rick even expedited my oil change service and had it done today so that I don't have to make another appointment just for that. Rick has indeed gone above and beyond since the purchase of my 2017 BMW X5 in Sept. 2016. Thank you, Rick and the Team at Brian Harris.

I recently purchased a 2015 Mini Cooper S Roadster from out of state. While everything on the car seemed to be running great, I wanted the 'warm & fuzzy' of having her checked by an authorized dealer. I reached out to the Brian Harris Service Center and made contact with November. She was very helpful and accommodating with setting up an appointment for my "new little girl". From the moment I entered the dealership on the day of my appointment, you'd swear I purchased the vehicle from them. Everyone was so helpful and courteous. Especially want to mention how Bernie and Thomas walked me through any questions I had. I knew I was at the right dealership. Expedite Intake

Had an appointment T 11:30 a.m and was in the shuttle and returned home by 12:15 p.m. The courtesy driver was sociable, which was nice to be able to talk. GREAT EXPERIENCE from start to finish.

Oil change and head lamp bulb replaced. I was satisfied with the service. I came back a week later and had a recall parts replacement done. I had shuttle service done both times.

Every time it is time for me to schedule my regular maintenance(oil change/tire rotation) it takes me 3-4 days just to schedule an appointment. I call & have to leave messages usually 2-3 at least before finally getting to schedule. Then they have zero appointments available for over a week. However I’m not certain what the point of having an appointment is because this week I had an 8:00 appointment on Wednesday & they did not touch my car all day! I dropped it off before 8:00 & was shuttled to work. No one called me all day. I called at 3:00 & was told my adviser would call me back. At 3:45 i called again because I need to leave work by 4:15 & i still had not heard from anyone. This time they say my adviser had to leave early & they would check on my car & call me back. Well at 4:15 I get someone from work to drop me off since it was time for me to leave work. I get there to find out that my car had not been touched all day & they do not have a loaner car available. They did try to make things right by coming to my work the next morning to get my car, preformed the service, & brought it back to me. I completely understand that my adviser had to leave early but if someone would have called me earlier in the day to say they would not be able to get to my car that day then I would have came & picked it up at lunch. Instead I had to go there at the end of the day wait for them to check on the status of my car that had not been touched. That put me late getting home resulting in picking up my child from daycare 15 mins past time having to pay late fees.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Service was good but not great

I tried multiple times to make an appointment leaving my name and number and no one would return my call finally I had to drive down to the dealership to make an appointment in person. Once I received my appointment the service was great and timely. My only issue is that I shouldn’t had to drive there just to get an appt.

I will no longer do business here

I am sorry to say that after my visit on Friday I will no longer be doing business at BMW Brian Harris. My first bad experience was a few months ago, when all BMW service business was being done in the Porsche building. I was extremely inconvenienced when I made an appointment to have my brakes done, two week prior to my appointment date. Got confirmation call and an email and everything. On the day of my appointment, no service car was available so I had to borrow my sisters car for the day. Dropped my car off at 8 am. They said it would be done at 3. 3 comes, I call and they say it will be done at 4. I come at 4 to pick up my car just to be told that they didn’t have the parts to complete my service!!!!!! I didn’t come back to Brian Harris for a couple months. Friday I had another appointment. I stated I wanted my front brake pads changed and an oil change. I said that if nothing else was done I at least needed the oil change. So I dropped my car off at 7:30am. Again no service car available so once again I have to borrow a car from a family member. They told me it would be ready before 5. Around 4 I never received a call so I called them. Spoke with Lewis. He stated that they were still working on “putting everything back together”. He said they never changed the brake pads because it needed routers too. $1200. So I asked about the oil change and he stated they did it already. So my husband is at work. I call him and let him know They’re about done and he can head that way to pick it up. My husband leaves work, gets a ride to pick up our car to get there and Lewis says they’re not done. This is 5:30. My husband has me on FaceTime and asks me why I told him to come if they weren’t done. I said “Lewis said they did the oil change and they’re putting it back together” and Lewis again standing close to my husband says yes they did the oil change and are almost done putting it back together. I’ll check now. So my husband hangs up with me. 5 minutes later my husband calls back and states that They never did ANYTHING to my car. No oil change. No brakes. They kept my car from 7:30am til 5:30pm and didn’t do a single thing I needed. FOR THE SECOND TIME! My husband complains to the manager who “fixes” the problem by saying to bring it back tomorrow and he’ll make sure it gets done!!!!! xxx! another day I’m supposed to trust you? Another day I’m supposed to be inconvenienced? Yeah right. This is bad business and coming from a small business owner myself I would never do my customers this way. Customers trust companies to do their job correctly the first time. And here I have given too many chances. For such a big company to be doing bad business was surprising but I am done. I will no longer do business at Brian Harris.

New building, same poor service

I dropped my car off the night before my service appt because I live 45min away from dealership and had to be to work at same time my service appt was scheduled. They kept my car all day no calls, no return calls to my 4 calls and at the end of the day 4:30pm I’m pissed about no return calls they tell me oh we have been busy your service advisor will have to call you tomorrow! I say no I dropped my car off yesterday, your gonna tell me nobody looked at it all day! Needless to say, 5 min later I received a call back saying the fixed a fuse n found nothing else wrong with car. Picked my car up n still heard the same noise they didn’t hear!! xxxxxxxxx xxx dealership!!

Best new car purchase experience ever

Our sales consultant, Cynthia has always been there for us and handled any issue to our complete satisfaction. I will be back to purchase another vehicle for sure. My wife and I were traveling through Baton Rouge on our way to Nachitoches on a Friday afternoon in the middle of rush hour. The air conditioner in my 2018 BMW 440ix 2-door coupe stopped blowing cold air - the exterior temperature was 101 degrees Fahrenheit!! With less than 2 hours before closing, the service department diagnosed the issue, solved the problem, got the AC blowing ice cold again, and we were comfortably on the road again.
