Great Sales and Service

Purchased a certified pre-owned GMC Yukon with a great buying experience. Tried using another certified GM dealership for service and repairs convenient to my wife's work. Big mistake. Worth the drive back to Greenville for dependable and quality repair service with Greg at Brown and Wood.

Unreliable

I drove for 1.5 hours to the dealership to see a used vehicle. After the test drive I sat down with the salesman, and the sales manager (Duane Byrum). We came to an agreement on a price for the car and for my trade in. I explained that as my wife was out of town that I wanted to speak to her before making a commitment and I left the dealership. The next morning I phoned the dealership and spoke to Duane and said that I did want the car and that I would be there later that day. He said "congratulations" and please let me know when you are coming through and I will get the paperwork ready. Just after lunch I was able to get away from my office so I phoned and spoke to the salesman while I was driving to the dealership. However the honorable was at that time selling the same car to someone else. I lost out on a good car because Duane's word is no good and the salesman that I was dealing with lost his commission on the sale. In my business, my word is my bond. This is not so with this dealership spoke I advise you to avoid them as you are likely to get taken advantage of.

Excellent Service! I just bought a 2016 Cadillac ATS. My sales person was Itzak Flores (Issac) who was very professional, compassionate and knowledgeable about his job.He took the time to show me every aspect of the car. Great Job to all of the staff at Brown & Wood Greenville, N.C. If you need a another car ask for Itzak.

Lost a lot of money

This was my third purchase from Brown and Wood. The first two went okay but my third was terrible. I purchased a 2016 Tahoe and had it two weeks. It had a loud ticking noise every time I accelerated. It drove terrible. I got 2 GM Mechanics in my area to look at the vehicle and they said something was clearly wrong. When I took it to Brown and Wood to be fixed, of course they said they did not hear the noise. I probably talked to everyone in the dealership. I asked to trade in for a Acadia and I was told it would have to be new so I would not be in the hole. Brown and Wood was going to charge me a ridiculous price to get out of the Tahoe. With my hands tied I tried my luck at Boyd Chevrolet in Emporia. Luckily they gave me a great price for my trade in and got me in a brand new Acadia for 7 thousand dollars cheaper than what Brown and Wood offered AND informed me the Tahoe I purchased from Brown and Wood had been wrecked. I WAS a loyal customer but I will not be returning.

I have been a loyal customer for 20 plus years. I bring my car to a dealership that I can trust. When my service is complete I don’t even have to check it. I know that it is right. I have bought many cars there some new some used. No problems.

I have been taking my Cadillac to Brown and Wood service department since I purchased it in 2014. I have never had an unpleasant experience. Everyone I have dealt with have been so professional. I have never felt as if they were trying to get over on me because I am a female. They are always finished with my vehicle in a reasonable time and if they cannot get it done in a certain amount of time, they ask if I would like a loaner. The customer service at this place is TOP NOTCH.

Brought our SUV in to be serviced. When any item needed to be addressed, I was notified and given the option to proceed or not. I was comfortable in the waiting area while my vehicle was serviced. Great sales staff

Micah and the gang were great--very helpful and quick to get me set up in my truck. Mike in financing was very efficient and I was out of there in record time for me at a dealer. I would still like to say that the available resources to customers on what they can reasonably expect from their trade need to be addressed as the trade value I accepted was only in the 'range' of the Black Book estimate and much lower than I think it should have been (of course as a biased customer). This in no way reflects on the sales staff that helped me on my purchase process--just the trade in process writ large.

Job was done but paid no attention to Details!!

I had a set of tires put on my truck by GMC service technicians. When I got home I checked the tire pressure and they were over filled. Should be 38 psi and had 51 psi. The tire sensors were not reset. This happens almost every time they rotate or move my tires around. Also they removed my spare tire tools, I assume looking for the lug nut key, and did not bother putting the tools back. With the help of Mark Stamper and Jeff Stein these issues were addressed promptly!
