Very unhappy Caddy!!!

Very bad work I was charged for work covered under warranty and I still needed work to correct work they did to my car,sad.

I wrote a review of this dealership in February of 2017 commenting about the check-in process. The issue has been fixed, AND it had no effect on the outstanding service provided here. I highly recommend BUICK/GMC of Vacaville for all General Motors vehicle service.

Excellent Service for my HHR

I read other reviews before deciding to write this one. My experience was much different than many that I read. I did not purchase my vehicle from Buick GMC of Vacaville. But this dealership will provide service for all GM vehicles including Chevrolet and Cadillac. But when I am in this area of California, and because they provided me with excellent emergency service in the past, I take my HHR to them rather than the local Chevrolet dealership. The Service Advisor check-in personnel and the Shop Technicians are EXCELLENT! They actually talk WITH the customer and not AT or DOWN to the customer! The check-in process can be a bit slow and I would recommend adding a bit of time for the check-in to be completed. This is a computer issue because of a server problem that slows the check-in process immensely. Work performed on my vehicle has been EXCELLENT! The car is clean when delivered back to me, work accomplished is explained, if necessary and any future work that is deemed important is identified and explained. I can't fault Buick GMC of Vacaville for anything dealing with my repair experience except a really slow computer system. Management should look into getting a new system now that the local golf course has been closed! The work performed on my 2011 HHR at Buick GMC of Vacaville has been TOP-NOTCH! That's why I keep coming back!

Slimy

Don't go here, period. If you are trying to avoid slimy sales people do not come to Buick GMC Vacaville. They put me in a BEAUTIFUL 2013 Buick LaCrosse with low miles. Let me explain to you their methods of getting you in a car outside of your price range. They WILL NOT work with you on the price at all, what they WILL do is adjust the rates to get the payment where you want them. Great, right? Wrong. Don't listen they are suckering you in. Allow me to elaborate. My dad and I were discussing financing with our sales person Paulo. He's playing the, "Let me talk to my manager" game, and my dad draws the line at $349 a month. He goes back to the manager, comes back, says, "I don't know how he did it, but congratulations." Oh no Paulo, I know exactly how he did it. They adjusted the rate to something they knew we couldn't get as opposed to keeping the same interest rate and coming down on the price of the car. Now, why? They knew they weren't going to move that car to us at a dollar over $349 a month, but maybe if I had already driven the car for a week my dad might budge. So they want to raise my rates by $13 a month. No big deal financially for me, the problem here is morally I don't want to support a shady business. So, of course I should just return the car and take my money else where. Wrong. They ran both my credit and my dad's credit through 10+ banks and murdered both of our credit scores. Now even with proof of income and a down payment I'm not going to be able to find financing any where else. Whatever, I want the Buick anyways and I know I'll be able to refinance in a few months. And this isn't Paulo's fault really, how am I supposed to know if he was already aware of this. He was actually pretty cool through the whole process. Steven, the financing guy was also pretty cool. The bottom line is I know the route they took to make this sale, and that's truly weak in spirit. I'm going in today, and they NEED to come down on this price and put my payments where I want them. At this point I have almost no leverage. I just hope now that they do the right thing. Would be 1 star if I wasn't treated so well by the staff initially, but when you have money in your pocket and you're here to buy a car of course everyone is going to be friendly. Here comes the true test, how professional will they be when they have my hands tied.

Great buying experience

I purchased my SUV recently at Vacaville GMC and the experience was beyond professional at every step. The salesman, Paulo, as well as the financing department was extremely friendly and helpful and greatly added to my overall buying experience.

One of my close Friends bought a truck from here still under warranty they said they would pick it up and bring a rental til it was fixed never did than get a bad attitude about it! Pretty lame and sucky customer service. Run while u have the chance!

THEY WOULD NOT HONOR THIER LIFETIME OIL CHANGES

I purchased a GMC Truck a few years ago and paid $300 for a lifetime oil change program that said as long as I owned the truck I could come in for a lifetime of oil changes as much as 4 times a year. Well I went in recently and the dealership went back on its promise and would not honor this program anymore and would not reimburse me any amount of money. I felt really cheated and lied too.

I would not recommend this dealer.

STEALERSHIP NOT DEALERSHIP

To make a long story short Do Not Buy From Here if you want good customer service. I was treated like a person when I before I bought it. But afterwards, your an annoyance if you need something fixed. Took my truck in several times under warranty for repairs. They failed to fix anything then give attitude to me. They won't return any calls. Had my truck for 2 weeks with not a single update or courtesy call. They told my my red toyota tacoma wasn't under factory warranty to sell me there's. I took it to toyota and they confirmed it still has a warranty for 40k more miles or til 2018. And they also told me my truck has been modified. But the salesman chris said it was bone stock. Liars cheaters and thiefs.

I would not recommend this dealer.

R/O open date; 5/15/13 R/O close date: 5/31/13 R/O number: 6020180/2 Cadillac Fleetwood 1971 (75) series Limo. lniemotka@sbcglobal.net 1.Vacuum lines from carburetor to PVC and leveler system not clamped after valve cover gasket change . This resulted in engine stalling and had very bad affect on starting and idle. 2. Service reported heater hose leaking and needed to be replaced. Hose was replaced but the new hose was connected to badly worn heater "T" fitting that was actual cause of leakage in the first place. This caused an overheat condition along with Vacuum leak. This Cadillac is a limousine and it cost me $300 in lost customer ,plus great embarrassment to myself and my business image. 3. I will not return to Vacaville Buick GMC, obviously their principal interest is not quality but quantity!

I want to thank Vacaville GMC for being so professional and sincere. They did a great job helping me out when I bout my Certified pre-owned 1500 Sierra over the weekend. Although I visited a few dealerships, none fo them compares to when it comes to customer satisfaction. This is my first car I have ever purchased and I feel like the other dealers sensed that and tried to take advantage of me, but you can’t B.S. a B.S.er ; - ) finally got fed up and went back to searching on google which then I found Vacaville GMC and even though they knew it as my first time, the sales guy actually started giving ME advice for what to look for and what to ask! I was really happy and when I called my parents to tell them what I just bought and for what, even my dad was surprised and said “that’s a real deal” I am really happy, this was my first buy and not my last, but this is the beginning of a wonderful friendship!

I have family in the area that have purchased cars from Vacaville GMC and I came in for a test drive and drove home in a 1500 sierra. From the beginning to the end of the process the employees here were upfront honest and managed not to tick off my dad for once, I was dreading the moment my dad sat down to negotiate and hung out with my sisters outside. I was surprised to see him with a smile on his face in less than 15 minutes. Thank You Vacaville GMC for the pleasant experience.

Fred and Aria are two of the best salesman I have ever had to deal with........I have bought 2 Acadias and one used vehicle from this 2 brothers over the last 5 years. The reason I keep going back is because of the friendly people and of course their award winning service dept. Hopefully I won't need another vehicle for at least 3 more years, but when the time comes for another one, I'll be back..........

I went to buy a new GMC truck and was mislead on the price by the sales manager over the phone and the owners Eleanor and Larry Felbaum told me the manager was an honest guy and they "NEVER HAD THAT PROBLEM BEFORE" . After I refused to take delivery of the truck Larry called me up and threatened to sue me and later called my wife's phone and also threatened her and made her cry. I diffently wouldn't buy the truck now and Larry continued to call me so I contacted the local police department to finally get the phone calls to stop.

I had a very pleasent shopping experience purchasing a 2011 Sierra at the dealership. I highly recommend that you ask to deal with ARIA RASSULE when purchasing a vehicle. I found ARIA to be a low pressure salesman. I did not have to hassle with the purchase price of the truck. I was able to negotiate directly with ARIA;therefore,avoiding the hassle of having to spend hours at the dealership. I shopped around for the best deals, and ended up at Vacaville because of their large selection of inventory.

Worst Dealership I have ever experienced. I was treated like royalty when I bought my car there (no surprise). But that was it. Started having issues with my radio going out. Turned it in over 7 times in a 3 month period. Still couldn't fix it. They did however manage to put a nice gash in the side of my door. They did pay for it, however paint job was cheap and you can see where the body work was done. On my last visit, I was called 2 weeks AFTER my car was fixed. Since I was in a rental, they said I had to pay for last 2 weeks. After showing them proof they didn't call me, they said "Sorry, but that issue is now between you and the rental car agency" So after the dealership put me in a rental, it was now my problem to get my money back from a company that had nothing to do with the issue. Talk about pawning your problems onto someone else!!! But this is not the scariest part of it all!! After contacting GM with the issue, they said there's nothing they can do since the dealership is privately owned. I was on my own with this incompetent dealership's mechanics and bad customer care practices. I will continue to elevate and spread this complaint for as long as I have to for them to acknowledge their fault in this. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND GM!!! (Oh yeah....the radio still doesn't work!)
