Horrible customer service

Purchased a used vehicle salesperson Ricky was great and also the finance department after about a month the brakes gave out almost was in a car reck from it. Called up the dealership and the service manager informed me that he does not have the equipment to check the fault coded for the vehicle and said you can take it anywhere with the warranty Brought the car over to Woody's auto service and gave them the warranty information on it they called me back saying the coverage company does not have the vehicle in there system and not warranty anything. I called Burns Ford and they towed the vehicle back to there shop that was day 1. The date it was towed was on 8-31-19. Danny was able to give me a ford transit vehicle to use while the truck was in the shop which was great gesture but the vehicle was not even clean windshield was cracked brakes scream from time to time. Next, I have been calling to see if there were any updates on my truck I have been calling Thursday Friday Saturday Monday and now Tuesday nothing all I get is will call you back with no call back. I have been calm throughout this process. The first mechanic I took it to informed me that the underneath of the truck is all rusted out like it was sitting in water for some time even the spare tire rim was rusted. I just want answers. I will not be taken the truck back until everything is repaired or replaced. I went to a dealership like yours because it was a Ford dealership. Now I have asked again tonight to speak with someone and I get they will call you back with nothing. I was sold something that had many issues. Please either give me my money back or put me in a replacement vehicle. The only reason why I am writing this is that the lack of respect I have been getting. I do have pictures of the undercarriage of the vehicle from the first mechanics I took it to. Also, I forgot to mention I transferred my tags from one vehicle to the new one and still never received paperwork for it when asked about this they informed me they messed the paperwork up and will have to redo it.

I would not recommend this dealer.

They give honest assement of vehicle problem and don’t try to sell you something you don’t need. They go out of their way to accommodate you and make sure you are happy with their service.

Great Experience - Always

In 2015, we purchased a new vehicle from Burns Ford...this was our first purchase at Burns...the experience was really great and we received excellent service since...the staff is always so friendly and helpful...we are treated like family...In February 2018, we decided to purchase another new vehicle...Burns was the only dealership that we were considering...the experience in this new purchase was just like the one in 2015...everyone treated us with respect...they did not try to push the sale on us...they took time to understand what our goal was and allowed us to drive the sales' process...the price was very fair...Brian, our salesperson, handled both the 2015 and 2018 purchases...he was very patient and understanding...Freddy, the finance manager, explained each form to us and did not try to push 'extras' on us...he explained what the 'extras' were and allowed us to make our own decision...if in the future we decide to purchase another vehicle, new or used, Burns Ford in Lancaster SC will be our first stop...probably will be the only stop!!!

I reviewed their web site and found a vehicle I wanted to look at. They were very forthcoming with all information. Were quick to respond and when it came down to making the decision to buy were very low pressure easy to work with. They put in the time and effort to assure a great deal. In the end I would rate the Customer Service above any other experience I have had buying a car previously. Nothing has ever been as enjoyable as working with Jodi, Freddy and the rest of the hard working courteous staff at Burns Ford.

Recent Mustang Service

Every time I bring my Mustang in for service the people are quick to respond and courteous. They go out of their way to explain any issues and to answer all questions. On this visit I had a slow leak on one of the tires and the guys in the back searched meticulously until they found the culprit - a very small slit in the rim of the valve. It was quickly replaced and I was on my way. I'm on my second vehicle with Burns Ford and don't anticipate switching. Robert Burns and his team are a pleasure to work with.

Awesome All Around!

We were looking to purchase a 2017 Ford Escape. We tried to purchase through 5 other dealers with no luck, it seemed as if no one was eager to sell us a car. Then we found Burns Ford, and the rest of history! This was the BEST car buying experience we have ever had. There were no issues with buying our new escape, everyone seemed to love their jobs and were very knowledgeable. When we got there to finish up the sale, our car was actually in the showroom...that was pretty sweet. We literally got to drive it out the front door...well, they drove it out the doors but you get it :-) I will definitely refer friends and family to Burns Ford!! Thanks guys!

Outstanding Experience

I purchased a 2016 Explorer Platinum from Burns. David was clear and upfront with their pricing through e-mail. I shopped around and they beat my local dealer on price by enough that I made a 2 hour trip to SC from NC. Although I bought based on price, I was very impressed with the ease and speed of the transaction. Their customer service is outstanding. Randy followed up immediately on my pre-sale questions, and he greeted and helped us right away when we arrived at the dealership. Freddy made the paperwork fast and efficient with no surprises. Seth showed us all the features on the car in full detail. No one knows a Ford product better than this guy! We were in and out of the dealership in under an hour. If you deal with Burns you will be impressed and fully satisfied with all employees. Great job Burns!

The sales process was great (not pushy and willing to negotiate). However, once the truck was purchased the experience went down hill.The truck was not detailed to standards.Service for getting a few missing pieces took over 2 months. They offered to pick up my vehicle to program the key, but were 45min late on the pick up time.Requested the truck to be detailed while it was at the shop, but never was.

I would not recommend this dealer.
