Still waiting for a reply!!

I bought a vehicle from these guys (online) in August 2018. It is an older vehicle (2008) and seemed to be in good condition when they dropped it off in Oakville. Ive listed 3 items that I am not happy with so far. 1. They upped the price by $1000 over and above the agreed price because I got a better interest rate. 2. The seats are a cream color leather which looked in really good shape for the year until I had sat in the seats a couple of times and had what I though to be very fine sawdust dust all over my back and back side after having no idea what it was for weeks, I finally figured out that it was only when I drove the car. The seats had been spray painted! 3. After taking the car in for its first oil change. I was informed by the mechanic that my rear differential has been leaking and that it had silicone all over the seal and was pretty much empty. (I've Attached pictures) I've emailed the sales person dealt with (Amanda) and only had an automatic reply stating she is away on holiday. I will keep this review here until the 3 items above have been dealt with by this dealership.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Top Notch Service - Thanks to the people at Cobourg Nissan

Two friendly gentlemen my age or younger :) delivered a new Frontier Pro4x right to my house in the suburbs of Oshawa. I didn't expect to see them so early and was actually sleeping when my dog started barking because someone was at the door. The new truck was shining in the driveway but I had no money to pay them. After trying to explain my lack of preparation for this big day (old vehicle had a seized engine and had been cab'n it for over a month) they gave me time to gather my things and drove me to the bank. After visiting the bank and paying for my new truck they drove me back home where we signed off the paper work. Obviously I owe you a heap of thanks for your decorum, patience and helpfulness in dealing with this Zombified dough-head customer :) The icing on the cake is this truck after about a of month of adjusting to a 4x4 & after driving a sedan (infinity g35) for the last ten years, has been a total riot. My dog & I love heading north out of the city and looking for that un-maintained road. I digress, to the people at Cobourg Nissan, Ian, Gary, Victoria and others that helped make this a positive experience and for the extra effort a ton of thanks. All the best - Rodney

Worst service i have ever had in 20 years

This company is useless trying to get me to buy a truck sight unseen and at that before they would even proceed they wanted a 2500 dollar non refundable deposit. As for the owner well he also does not like to keep his word. I will never recommend this dealership will never use them again as there are about 4 employees that i used including the owner that are honestly complete morons and rude and have zero people skills.

I would not recommend this dealer.

I purchased my very first car from Cobourg Nissan about 4 months ago. Dylan helped me to find not only the perfect vehicle to meet my needs, but also a great value. He has an extensive knowledge of the industry and vehicles and an upbeat energy that made my car search a lot of fun! I am extremely happy with my Nissan Sentra and my experience at Cobourg Nissan. I would recommend this dealership to anyone look for a new vehicle!

Worst experience

I booked an appointment to view pre-owned car with someone name Amanda. I clearly told that I'm coming from Brampton and confirmed the availability of the car. After travelling over 2 hours from my place. I came know that car has sold out. I have never came across such a worst Sales agent like Amanda. She did not have courtesy to inform me that car was sold. Alteast I would expect her to let me know that there was another appointment booked before me and she should have booked appointment for later time. So that if car got sold I wouldn't have to make that trip. Worst customer service. To rub salt on wound some doushbag at front desk offering me to buy new Nissan car. I don't have to travel so far if I want to buy new Nissan car. I will never go to this dealership again.

Excellent Start to Finish

Started looking for a new van and came across a 2014 Caravan on their website. It was Easter Weekend and I popped in with my wife to check it out. We were late getting there and so I test drive took us until closing. We were not rushed and there was not pressure tactics by Dylan. Dylan was informative, friendly and up front. I said I'd come back and check out the vehicle after the weekend. He suggested putting a refundable deposit to hold the vehicle. I figured nothing to lose and I did. Over the weekend I texted a few questions and Dylan promptly replied. Wasn't able to go in the Monday for my second test drive, so he held the vehicle until the Tuesday with no questions asked or pressure. I took the vehicle out for a good hour or more. When I came back there were a few more questions I had. We worked a deal in my price range and they even gave me a fair trade in for my old clunker (took $50 less then the wrecker would have given me). The service, friendliness, attention to detail and no pressure/no hassel, made my vehicle purchase a great experience. I never felt it was me against them trying to get a good deal. It felt more like a partnership, they trying to sell a vehicle and making sure I was getting the right vehicle. I bought the van two months ago and waited to write this review. The van is running great and I have 0 regrets. Will definitely go back when it is time for another vehicle. (My only small complaint was a poor job on the detailing for delivery, but Dylan sent it back in and had my concerns dealt with and I was on the road in half an hour).
