Super experience; great salesperson

Laurie Barfield was our salesperson and she did a great job of selling us a Honda CRV EX L AWD. We usually buy a car every three years and try to find the best price. We thought Cale Yarborough would be high priced because it is a smaller dealership than the ones in Columbia and Myrtle Beach. We were wrong. After shopping a bigger dealership and not finding what we wanted, we went to Cale Yarborough. They had the vehicle we wanted, did not try to upsell us and Laurie was extremely patient. She knew her vehicle better than the hard selling salesman at the larger dealership too. The price was a good deal better than the larger dealer wanted also. So this experience was one of the best car buying experiences we have ever had and we are old people.

I would recommend this dealer.

Wife and I experienced a great car buying event at Cale Yarborough Honda on 07/28/2015. Thank you for your interest and skills, Jemel Lyle, our on lot salesperson!!! From the moment we first met Jemel to the time we purchased a new 2015 CVR Touring, his enthusiasm, concern and "no pressure" sales approach never fluctuated. I gave him a proposal of what I thought was fair and he met our numbers even with the inclusion of a hundred thousand mile bumper to bumper Honda warranty. Thank You Jemel and other CYH team members involved in making this car buying day a pleasant event. Also, anyone looking for an automobile would be well served to contact Jemel Lyle at CYH.

I received calls from 3 people other than my sales rep with contradicting information. I was promised a car by a certain date before they checked to see if they could even get the car. A week later, still no car. I got my money back and will not ever go near them again!

I would not recommend this dealer.

Cale Yarborough Honda, Florence, SC I Bought a new...

Cale Yarborough Honda, Florence, SC I Bought a new honda accord 3 weeks ago.The car had to be washed 3 times that day. The wash crew could not get the spots off the windows. I was told by Laurie that, they would have a special crew come in and clean the windows with a special compound. When i picked my car up, the windows were worse than before. They used the same crew that cleaned it the Saturday before. Then the next week they picked up my car to have the windows cleaned with a special compound. When i picked my car up this time, the water spots were almost gone, but now it has swirl marks all in the windows, and we noticed it had a lot of scratches and water spots in the paint. I was told by the General Manager David Haney, that I was the only person out of 99.9% that would not like the way the car looked. that he and his wife buys new cars all the time that look like that, and i was not buying a $250000.00 Farrari, and he didn't have a car or could not find a car on any other lot that looked any better. This is my 6 honda in 10 years. The paint on my 2007 Honda Accord looked better than this, after driving it for 4 years. My cousin also bought a new honda accord 2 days before i did. His car had the same problem. David had 3 of the 6 windows replaced. When he picked up his car, they had dropped chemicals on the hood. Now the hood has to be re-painted. He is taking his car somewhere else to get painted, in fear something else will happen.

Took car in for oil change. After a couple of days I noticed a oil spot under the car. I felt underneath and found the oil plug loose. So I called them and said something was leaking. They came and got it. The feed back to me was that there was just a puddle of oil on the cross member. He said they cleaned it off and it was good to go. So when I got home I checked the drain plug again. It was tight this time.I could have forgiven the issue if I was told the truth. But to lie to me, I guess I will need to travel long distance for service from now on

I would not recommend this dealer.

I purchased a 08 "certified" Honda Accord....

I purchased a 08 "certified" Honda Accord. After two weeks I noticed the entire bumper had been painted. Went back to Cale Yarborough, they didnt care,didnt try to make anything right. They are a bunch of crooks! Go to Columbia if you want to buy a Honda!

I would not recommend this dealer.

This is a small dealership, but everyone was very nice to me. Our salesman, Stephen, was not quite as knowledgable as I would have liked about the stats of the cars we looked at. I asked him several questions he could not answer. However, he more than made up for it by being friendly, and not pushy. He didn't try to talk us into the car, he let the car speak for itself. Unfortunately, the dealership did NOT have the inventory we were looking for. They only had one CR-V. We had to go elsewhere to try it out, but in the end, came back to this one. The people were willing to work with us on price, were very helpful in reducing time spent in the office (you know that hour you half to wait between deciding on a car and signing the paperwork? Took care of all that over the phone). If I buy another Honda I'll come back to them. I'm really a toyota man, but they sold me on this one.
