Didn't even know what they were servicing

I made an appointment for a remote start key, which I said numerous times. I get the new key and there is no remote start. When I ask about it they say "I didn't know you wanted a remote start"

A nightmare

I drove 3 hours and took an entire day of my time to purchase a 2018 Certified Honda Accord Sport with roughly 7K miles on it. I drove the vehicle home and the next day when I turn it on every dashboard light comes on the vehicle. I take it to a dealership in my area and there is an oil leak that ran rampant and caused multiple electrical components to fail so an engineer at Honda recommended an engine replacement. Casey Honda decides to tow the vehicle back to their service department and expects me to trust them to fix the vehicle when I couldn’t trust them to see an obvious oil leak during their certified inspection process. I decided to request a refund or another vehicle. They did not have the same color I purchased and would not give me another model or new car for my troubles. I’ve wasted days of my time, a rental was never offered to me, and I will get essentially zero compensation for this and finally not a single time, not once, has anyone at Casey Honda apologized for this issue I have had. Not to mention once you buy the car good luck getting ahold of them. I’m still waiting for a call back to get my refund. Do not buy a car from here. I would give zero stars if it was possible.

Don goes above and beyond

My husband wasn’t really a fan of Casey’s Honda but then he met Don when we brought our 2005 accord in for a oil change. Don went out of his way to make sure all our needs were met . When it came time to purchase a new vehicle we bought from Casey Honda mostly because we liked working with Don. He is a true asset to the dealership.

Don Matol excels again

9-10 years as our Service Rep, he gets you in and out as fast as he can, but at the same time ensures that the work done is quality and at the best price. Casey Honda service has been outstanding for us with our 2008 Accord and now our 2014 Accord. I always thought you paid more for service at a dealer rather than a independent garage, which I found true in some cases, however, generally they are competitive and I know they will use genuine OEM Honda parts and their service folks are certified for Honda repairs. They will continue to get my business on our Honda.

I recently purchased a Honda CVR from Casey Honda, it was one of the best experiences I have had buying a new car ( at my age there have been several) . I worked with Cody over the phone who provided me with an “Out the Door” full detailed quote ( probably not the preferred method but I was already frustrated by other dealers and just wanted to get this over with) we arranged for me to come in and look at the car , I had already done my research and knew what I wanted and the price I was willing to pay. Cody introduced me to Howard who assisted me from there. First off, the deal was the deal, Cody knew what I wanted and what we discussed and relayed that to Howard. There is as no trying to sell me another vehicle or changing the deal once I got there ( which happened at my local dealer in Williamsburg) . Howard couldn’t have been nicer and explained all about the car and the process and also the Casey perks ( free oil changes, etc) . I told Howard I didn’t have a lot of time and I wanted to get paperwork finalized as quickly and painlessly as possible. The whole deal took about an hour to finalize including the time I spent with the Finance Mgr. ( for those of you have bought cars in the past you know this can feel like an eternity sometimes). I scheduled a pick up later in the day because I had to make arrangements for someone to come with me to pick up the car, Casey is about a 25 min drive from where I am. By the time I got home Howard had called me to say that since it had started raining , he didn’t want me to have to drive there and back in the rain , he would deliver me the car if I would like. That was amazing! In all my years of buying cars I have never had a dealer offer that. My family members could not believe it either. When he arrived with my car we spent time reviewing all the features, setting up my phone, programming ratio stations, etc. all in my own driveway. My suggestion to new car buyers, do your research , know what you are willing to pay (and get approved for) ,ask for the “out the door price “ and work with a reputable dealership like Casey. When making a purchase all I ask is that they be fair and treat me with respect, I know a dealer is not always going to be able to give me the price I want and that is fine, but don’t tell me something to get me through the door and then change it. When I arrived at Casey the general manager came over and introduced himself and thanked me for coming in, at the other dealership I worked with, the manager sat behind his office door and left it up to the salesperson to tell me that they could no longer offer me the price they quoted the night before . All the associates at Casey were pleasant, positive and easy to work with and seemed to take pride in their service. I recommend you visit them if you are looking for a Honda. You will not be disappointed.

The service we received at Casey Honda was excellent. From the curb side greeting to the final delivery of the car a few days later. At no time did I ever feel that our business was unimportant.. one could say that everyone made us feel welcomed. The excellent service we received from our salesmen(Joseph Bolton) showed just how well trained he was. 5 STARS FOR CASEY HONDA OF NEEPORT NEWS!!

Great salesmen at Casey Honda

I was in the market to buy a brand new car and I narrowed it down to a 2018 Honda Accord EX. I test drove one at Casey Honda and I was impressed by Michael because he knew everything about the car, there was nothing that he was unsure about, believe it or not I came across salesmen who didn't know everything about the other cars that I have test driven. The best part is that he wasn't pushy like other salesmen I have come across. I have been in contact with Michael for two months, patiently waiting for the price to drop low enough to meet my budget. Michael was able to beat the other competitors. I came in on 12/21/2018 at night, Michael happened to have other customers so he had one of his best co-worker's Howard to wrap up all the paperwork. He was great, he got the paperwork done, took the time to go over all the features of the car with me, and took the time to answer any and all questions that I had. I would recommend Casey Honda to anyone looking to buy a Honda.

I went into this dealership to purchase my first new Honda and Arya was the first person who greeted me. He was extremely warm, polite and professional. He showed me every car I wanted to see and answered all of my questions. His demeanor was so calming! Even when the finance department was being a pain to deal with, he made me feel reassured, relaxed and like I was making the right choice. He even came to me one day so I didn't have to leave work to sign some papers! If it wasn't for Arya, I might have not bought my car that day. I would definitely follow him to wherever he is for my next vehicle purchase and he will definitely be the person I refer to in the future. Thanks Arya!!!

This is our third Honda purchased from Casey Honda. First was an Odyssey for my wife in 1999 and second was a Civic for our daughter in 2005, made possible by Jay Malone at the old Casey location on J. Clyde Morris Boulevard. Today Jay is the general manager of Casey Honda now located on Jefferson Boulevard and our latest purchase, a 2017 Pilot EX-L for me, was made possible by Sean Davis. Sean provided the highest level of customer service for this purchase as did Jay Malone for our first two purchases. Don Matol has been our maintenance service manager at Casey forever - over 10 years. The three make a great team - great cars at great prices with great service after the sale.

I was helped by the best

Joe did everything he could to help me get the car I have always wanted. There was a lot of loop holes he had to jump through to get me a car with all I wanted and at a very reasonable monthly payment. He made it happen! He was very informative, never made me feel pushed or pressured, always understood when I said ‘No’ and most importantly he cared about my wants and needs as a consumer. He took so much time that he didn’t have to just to show and educate me on EVERY function of my car on the inside and how and where to set things up. Not only did Joe exceed my expectations but so did Stephan and Derek. Again, never pushy and very patient. They made me feel like the ball eas always in my court and they were there to help get me my wants and needs as much as possible with keeping my payment exactly where I needed it. Derek is very helpful in the finance department, down to earth and overall just wants you to make sure you get the best bang for your buck when it comes to an insurance/warranty on your vehicle.
