dishonest, nasty sales guys

Tom and Johnathan are nasty sales guys. They never give proper answers to questions and keep blaming each other for their wrong doings. Their level of unprofessionalism is disgraceful to all sales people out there.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Excellent experience!

Staff listened, were responsive to our needs; provided options for consideration. Staff proud and familiar with Nissan product. No pressure sales! Hoping the service department will be just as good as I plan on taking my car there for it’s regular maintenance and service.

Warranty debacle

Seems I fell through every crack they had..or found. Not happy. .assured it wasn't their usual service and they let me down again. Don't take a car there if you didn't buy it there as you don't count..even if it is under warranty.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Went in to check out used cars with a firm price range in mind. Met with Dennis Hope and he showed me what was available and not once did he try to persuade me into something out of my range. The GM Tom was also very helpful in figuring out payments that can fit my budget. Just an overall great experience and a great group of people.

Great Staff, Excellent Atmosphere

This is an excellent dealership if you are looking for a more relaxed and easy-going atmosphere when purchasing a car. No pushy sales folks or gimmicky sales tactics, just a good group of friendly staff members who are looking to help and listen. Highly recommend this dealership compared to Whitby's, which was much busier and chaotic than Clarington's - a must-visit when looking at quality Japanese cars.

best experience I have ever had with parts

I went in for parts for my truck and spoke with Brayden ? I hope I am spelling it right , he was great ! ordered the correct parts for me , with the correct pricing and kept me updated when things were coming in . I will be coming to him for all my parts from now on . Great job and excellent customer service Brayden.

POOR SERVICE

Purchased one of the first vehicles sold at this dealership (a Pathfinder), the 5th Nissan we have owned. Took our Altima hybrid there for service and when it was returned it suddenly had Clarington advertising plate covers on it! Since then we have routinely had servicing done there with issues every single time. They always want to do more than what the vehicle was brought in for. Always takes forever for even an oil change. The last straw was today. Took the pathfinder in to have winter tires installed and was told it needed rear brakes done. When we replied we just had "servicing" on the brakes last time to extend the life of the brakes...they basically said "oh well". (43,000km on the brakes that have had servicing). way to many issues to list. But we are done with Clarington Nissan and will return to either Ajax or Lindsay who we never felt was just trying to pad the bill.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Rip off service department

Got an estimate on a blown break line, wanted $1000 to fix it and said that it would take 6 to 8 hours to fix. I had another auto shop in town fix the break line for the price of $241. When told what Nissan wanted, the mechanic laughed. Thieves!

I have not purchased a vehicle from Clarington Nissan, therefore I cannot post a review on their sales staff, my review is all on the service department - although when I do go in for servicing, the sales staff are always very pleasant and not pushy The service department staff at Clarington Nissan are superb. They care about the customer and will go out of their way to ensure you leave a happy customer. I have had a number of issues at Midway Nissan (which is where the vehicle was purchased) and chose to switch to Clarington Nissan as soon as they opened up for all servicing requirements (not currently looking for a new vehicle just yet). The service I was receiving at Midway was leaving me NEVER wanting to own another Nissan product ever again - I tried posting a review on Midway Nissans site to express my immense displeasure and disappointment with them - they censor every review and will not permit negative reviews to be posted. The staff at Clarington Nissan have definitely changed my opinion and views of the product they sell. They are backing up that Nissan name - yet they were not the ones who sold me my vehicle - they have gone above and beyond to win back a loyal customer - the 2 Dan's behind the service desk at Clarington Nissan are honest and do what's required to keep the customer happy. Here's to keeping my vehicle on the road for another 5 years Thank you Clarington Nissan

Did not honour a signed purchase agreement!

In late January we decided to purchase the top of the line 2015 Rogue SL AWD with the technology package. We got a quote on the vehicle and then compared a couple other vehicles. We currently own a Toyota Rav 4 and where interested in the new 2015 model but it was $6000 more than the Rogue. We went back to Nissan and talked to Dwight and the sales manager and negotiated a slightly better price due to employee pricing. They kept telling us we got a great price and they are not making any money on the vehicle. The next day we went into purchase the Rogue and got a final price and signed a sales agreement. They did not have the colour we wanted in their inventory so they ordered one from another dealer. The next day they called us and said the computer made a mistake and it did not include the cost of the technology package. The issue is that you cannot buy the SL model without the technology package.(interesting that Nissan web site has now removed this option) So the business manager, sales manager and the sales person did not pick up that they made mistake on the pricing. The insisted that we pay an additional $2800 + tax. They would not honour the signed sales agreement and basically said too bad for you. We purchased a 2015 Rav 4 Limited AWD instead.

I would not recommend this dealer.

great atmosphere!

I went into Clarington Nissan and purchased a brand new Nissan Titan SL from a sales associate Braden , he was wonderful! Never have I had such a great experience purchasing a car. The staff was friendly and I appreciate everything Braden, Rick and Jane did for us! Good work guys!
