Great Service Experience!

By Noalgem072 on 7/30/2019 at 2:25 PM. Helped by Ray Christian.

I was having an issue with my Jeep Wrangler soft top. Ray Christian went out of his way to insure that my issue was fixed beyond my expectations. He was professional, easy to work with and most of all genuinely caring. What could have been a nightmare was turned into a great service experience thanks to him! Thank you Ray, you have no idea how much I appreciate you!

I would recommend this dealer.

Don't buy car from this dealer you will have no peace

By JAGAN VINUKULA on 7/27/2019 at 2:23 AM. Helped by Joe Fernandez.

The worst Dealership ever please don’t buy car from these dealer. You will have no peace in life. Staff are so careless and IRRESPONSIBLE. I bought a car on Feb 13( Dodge Charger), I took a out side finance and paid them a check but they send my title to different bank, when I called them they said it 60 days for bank to receive my title. I was kept on receiving notice from my bank saying not received the title. In June when my bank charged me 18% for not providing a title I went to dealership and found they have send it to different bank and till now they haven't resolved it. SECONDLY THEY PROMISED 1ST FREE SERVICE, WHICH I HAD TO GO WAIT AND TALK TO 3 DIFFERENT SALES MANGERS TO GET VOUCHER AFTER 3 HOURS OF MY TIME IN DEALERSHIP. THIRDLY I GOT NOTICE FROM NTTA WITH CHEVY TRUCK ON MY NAME WITH MY CAR DETAILS WHEN I STARTED INVESTIGATING I FOUND THAT THEY HAVE ISSUED 2 TEMPORARY TITLE ON 2 DIFFERENTDATES TO MY CAR WITH SAME VIN AND MY DETAILS, ONE TO ME ON THE DAY I BOUGHT CAR AND AFTER 2 DAYS TO CHEVY TRUCK WHICH IS STILL RUNNING ON ROAD AFTER THE TEMPORARY TAG EXPIRED. WHEN I WENT TO SHOWROOM TODAY THEY TREATED LIKE A xxxx AND I HAD WAIT FOR 5;30 HOURS TO MEET THE GM MR. JOE. WHO SAYS HE NEEDS TO INVESTIGATE ALL, WILL RESOLVE AND NOTHING CAN BE DONE NOW. THEY TOTALLY IRRESPONSIBLE. HE SAYS EVERY 5 MINS HE SELL 1000 CARS A MONTH AND DON'T TO HELP ME. General manager Joe Fernandez busy in meeting and don’t want to meet me. xxxxing cheater this dealership is. Ridiculous customer service. I also have few more customers like me here waiting. Trust me don’t buy car and screw yourselves. I HAVE ALL THE EVIDENCE FOR THE MESS THEY HAVE DONE

Unethical sales tactics, blatant lies to make deal

By Abigail1$ on 6/12/2019 at 9:41 PM. Helped by Amber Finance manager.

Was told my vehicle would be sold back due to errors on my orginal vehicle, i.e no signature and the contract was back ended at the very last min in funding. Sales men ( if I can get you in a brand new vehicle lower your payments and no money down, and buy back your vehicle would you do it? ) , well of course no negative equity on the back end at all correct ? (No no negative equity infact you will get a refund later). Not what happened I went home with 2 vehicles day 1 , day 2 returned 1 took home a totally different car with totally different terms. Basically we kept the stock low end no bells no whistles vehicle , sending back the high end model , but instead of the price of the low end we got shafted with the higher end model price and terms on the higher end midel model incorrectly, the returned model. Even though 2 vehicles in question 0were brand new the one kept had hail damage. And scratch and should have been lower cost from damages. The buyback vehicle was placed as a trade in and the negative equity placed on the back end. when this was not what was agreed to at all.never recieved a refund or cashback rebate as promised,in fact just the opisit they rebates were added on as negative amounts not positive. I never missed a payment prior to selling it back to dealership and yet my last payment their payoff payment reflected 30days passed due no explanation or attempt to help fix the ding on my credit the company created. When I contacted the dealership about discrepancy and issues with contracts and warranties and refunds , I was brushed off , ignored, told manager of finance or person that had to approve request was gone. Yet they quick to contact if I want to trade or purchase another vehicle. Lied and told me because I was married they could run my spouse's credit even though he wasn't there at all not would be because he was at work, just needed to sign for him. Its illegal with an POA which I did not know or have at the time. They never sign your contract while you are there in the office unless you point it out. Infact if its signed at all will be weeks later. I have 2 contracts not signed for by dealership, yet the lending companies say they have signed documents? How is it possible and or legal when I have orginal docs proving otherwise, not only that the dates are reflected on 1 of the contracts is completely false and hadn't even been drawn up until the following day in question, yet signature dates say other wise. Dealership claims you have to take issues up with lender and lender pinpongs you back to dealership. Mean while you get stuck with the shaft ,debt, broken promises, all responsibility and no way to rectify the situation. Salesmen and finance rep both stated that vehicle was guaranteed easy trade in 6 to 12 months no negative equity to worry about and turn over would boost credit score. Or could refinance to lower payments if I decided I really wanted to keep the vehicle instead. SALES Rep Convinced and flat out stated dealership only sold dodge ,Chrysler or jeep for new vehicles, I never wanted any of the above listed no interest at all. Yet I was told was all I was approved for. Which was a lie I found out in funding not true I could have had a vehicles of my choice brought over from other locations or go to other locations to retrieve. I specifically asked if they had a Nissan dealership close sales men no just dodge. Which was on the other side of the higher was same dealership for Nissan. I explained to sales men medical conditions that cause issues with prolonged exposure to the sun, among other that cause more serious mental and physical issues that affect my more cognitive functioning that prolonged time gaps between medications and non intake of food will cause. When specifically told I was on strict timeline where i had medications that had to be taken I was quickly rushed into another decision or choice to make instead of being handed the keys to my vehicle I arrived in to go home. I was mislead until the very last minute that my vehicle was already on a different lot completely. However was only parked out of sight there are so many things that I could mention from finance to toy truck driver who explained that this dealership rarely pays off the vehicles sold or traded into it until the last minute, they pick up cars under repo out of their lot multiple times weekly for non payment, its created such a mess in my life I now am looking at attorneys to file suite over the financial mess the entire events have caused. Non of the verbal commitments stated were honored or followed through on , not one. Alex who is now in service department of this location, was my original sales rep at the used location for the vehicle I was returning, (I did not work with him during the sale or the above vehicles in question).

TERRIBLE COMPANY!!

By TXtruck101 on 2/21/2019 at 7:28 PM. Helped by Tony Johnson.

I bought a used truck on December of 2018. I had the truck for 28 days, and the truck all of a sudden would not start. Took it in the next day January 22 with the same issue, and two guys saw the issue it was having. Tony at the Dodge service center had it for weeks and it ran fine. One day after those two weeks it didn't start again (January 26). Tony and his men couldn't figure out what was wrong, so they pushed it over to Chevy service center (February 11). It has now been a month since I took the truck in to be fixed and they still do not know what is wrong with the truck. Also while it has been at Chevy the truck has started all on it's own and they are wanting me to come pick the truck up knowing there is a problem and knowing it has not been fixed (February 18). I have not been given or even offered a rental during this month they've had my vehicle. On top of that I have been trying to get a hold of the general manager of the store, general sales manager, and I have not been able to get a hold of either of these people. I have left several messages and I have called multiple times a day and still nothing. Tony Johnson throughout all of this at the Dodge service has been great, every one else at Clay Cooley has been awful. I will never be back to do business with them and I will never ever refer anyone to them. This has been the worst car buying experience!! And I still do not even have a vehicle that I have been paying for and I am left without a vehicle. As of today February 21, 2019, I am still not even sure if the vehicle has been fixed or not. I have called multiple times for the General Manager of the store and I still have not been able to get ahold of him or have him return any of my voicemails.

Ran my credit 2x and a cheat company all over.

By SK1234 on 2/7/2019 at 6:04 PM.

I have a excellent credit score 789 and they wanted to give me 7.59% finance option after my down payment for balance of 14k which would bring it to 20K. I think these people cheat on anyone who they can. Also, they ran my credit score twice for no reason. I am going to dispute this.

By Hdj_76 on 10/23/2018 at 11:16 PM. Helped by Tony, Chris, DJ, unknown snarky guy.

I am so over this! I just got an attitude from a service guy that said I have to just drop off my truck and hope you get to it. No appointments. Last time that happened you had it for 31 days!!!! My headliner was supposed to be in 3 days ago now not til tomorrow. No communication, i had to call and wait 12 mins on hold to find this out. You have killed my love for this vehicle because it has become such a xxxx nightmare!!!! The biggest complaint i had (engine) isn't even fully resolved. I have complained directly to Chrysler too BTW.

Bought 2 new vehicles within 6 months

By mcparks7 on 7/3/2018 at 1:56 PM. Helped by None.

Everything was ok until it came to the "We Owe" form as part of the deal. The dealership should honor it and not give the customer, who bought 2 new vehicles within 6 months, the run around. Returning a phone call and/or an email for starters would help. Now it will be hard for me to recommend this dealership.

Shady sales techniques

By Mike on 1/3/2018 at 1:51 AM.

We went here to purchase a vehicle and I used to think the age old techniques of manipulative salesman & managers were a thing of the past. They have reminded me that's not the case. We made an offer and at first they declined and countered halfway. Later the manager comes out and says they can't do it and goes back up to their original price so we left (at this point I chalk it up to communication and no harm done). Over the next few days the salesman, Stephen Knight, contacts us via text periodically telling us he is going to take it above his manager to Mr. Cooley himself and get the deal approved. Needless to say this sounded like a story but we went along and he assured us daily he'd get it done. It went on for about a week of texts telling us the car has been detailed and gassed up. Infact one day he told us to come in at 5 because we were good to go. We arrived at 5pm just to wait for 30 minutes while he disappeared and he said "Mr. Cooley is on his way to make the deal happen". This is a blatant disregard for the value of people's time and a lie. I assure you I will never shop at any location with the name CLAY COOLEY and intend to share my story with my family and friends who intend on purchasing a vehicle from a shady dealership such as this.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Will never go to this dealership again!

By armintheman on 12/13/2017 at 5:06 PM.

I had spoken to the internet sales team about a jeep srt I was interested in and if they would be willing to price match another dealer (for the convenience of not driving 2 hours to the other dealer) and they said absolutely they could. The sales woman even checked with the GM and came back to say they could and when I'd be able to come in. I went there on that Saturday to find out they could not match that deal and they weren't sure how the other dealer got to that price. Because of their action I lost out on the other car at the other dealer!

I would not recommend this dealer.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. CHRIS & PAUL ARE MORONS.

By brookem12817 on 9/27/2017 at 6:34 PM. Helped by CHRIS PIERSON, PAUL SEARS.

I reached out to this dealership after my rear view mirror fell off my windshield trying to see if it would be covered under the manufacture warranty since I am under 36K miles. Bear in mind, this is not where I purchased the vehicle, but my local Jeep dealer. After several attempts of trying to speak to someone from the Service Department, I finally had the joy of speaking with some idiot named, Chris Pierson, who claimed he was the Service Advisor. He asked me to bring my car in the following morning to take a look at the damages and get the warranty process started. The next morning when I arrived, Chris took photos of the windshield/mirror and said he would send them off to the Chrysler warranty department for approval assuring me that it wouldn't be an issue to get this repaired. He confirmed later that day that the warranty department would cover this at no cost to me, but that it would be 7-10 days before the parts would be in. At this time, he back tracked and said he was very surprised that warranty covered this, but that he "went to bat for me." I did ask Chris previously, if there was a way to temporarily fix the issue as the rear view mirror was swinging all around while driving, not to mention the safety hazard of not having a functioning rear view mirror. He said no, so I asked if they could provide a loaner vehicle in the meantime since it was going to be such a long wait for material/repair. He told me no that they couldn't provide one. After much persuading and arguing with Chris, I was able to get a loaner vehicle covered by the dealership. 2 weeks go by, and I hear nothing from Chris. I follow up with him asking for an update and he gives me a vague response "parts not in. special ordered from Chrysler." So, I wait a couple more days and finally he let's me know that the parts have come in & he just needs to schedule the repairs. Yesterday, Chris calls me to let me know that my windshield that HE inspected, took photos of, and sent off to the warranty department that was approved for replacement by Chrysler was no longer approved because it was not a mopar windshield. He said it would cost me $800.00 to repair. That's when I became very upset with Chris and asked him why this was not found when I originally brought my car in. He said when the windshield installer REMOVED my windshield they noticed it was aftermarket. He insinuated that I brought my car in knowing it had an aftermarket windshield on it. If he and Chrysler staff don't know their own product, how would I know? His claim was that he was not a "windshield technician" and he was "just trying to help." Anyways, I asked to speak with his manager, and he put me off to the next idiot, Paul Sears, who was a total xxxxxxx and offered no assistance whatsoever. Clearly, this is a trend at this dealership and I can say that this whole situation could have been avoided had Clay Cooley & Chrysler done their jobs and found that this was an aftermarket windshield the first time I brought the car in, but apparently everyone there is incompetent and incapable of checking the brand on the right corner of the windshield. Seriously, how was this missed??? Makes no sense at all. I strongly discourage anyone visiting this dealership and will be leaving this same review on every outlet possible just to save someone the hassle. As others have said, all this dealership wants is your money and/or to waste your time. Stay away!

I would not recommend this dealer.

Mistake after mistake

By Jr12356 on 8/2/2017 at 12:06 AM.

contracts over two months , first one they messed up so bad my interest rate jumped up 6 points and 75 a month difference in payments , through the the process of their numerous mistakes, mis communications and errors , wrong vin number twice! Ran my credit 27 TIMES ! mind you I've been driving the vehicle thinking we have a valid contract. I now have a car loan on my credit for at least 30 days for a car I never owned ( wrong vin number) that was sold to someone else which cancelled my loan . Seriously who runs a business like this ? Didn't offer to accommodate in anyway just gave me my down payment back after mentioning they might have to charge me for the use of the veiechle? made numerous calls to Chrysler financial who were as helpful as they could be but their hands were tied since the dealership cancelled the contract to push someone else's sale through on the vin number of the car I was driving - yep that's right they screwed that persons deal up too. Now because of all their mistakes and actions my credit score had dropped enough and is showing a loan on a car I never even had possession of it's making it difficult to purchase another car ! So I'm spending money on a rental all while they refuse to accept responsibility or even answer or return my phone calls! I really am in disturbed and outraged at the whole situation and if it weren't helping to me I wouldn't believe it! But I have the screwed up contracts and letter from Chrysler financial to prove it ! Anyone know good lawyer???!!!!

horrible dealership

By anonymous on 6/28/2017 at 9:24 PM. Helped by Paul Garret- Sales Manager.

This is by far the worst dealership that I have encountered. They do all possible to get you in the door and then they give you the worst deal only to make a sale. I purchased a vechile with them and was not told that it had been in a car wreck previusoly. Had I known that why would I purchase such a vehicle. They would do nothing to help me out. Then on top of that they make you fill out a review under the assumption that you just received the best service when it is all a load of crap. Find another dealership that will give you better service and acknowledge faulty business practice.

Bought used Compass

By Dahurtu on 5/25/2017 at 6:22 PM.

We went in to Look at a used Mazda but also had a Jeep we wanted to look at at another dealer. The Mazda didn't pan out so Zach started to show us Vehicles that better fit our needs for a college student vehicle. We really liked Zach because he honestly wanted to find us a good fit. Once we decided on a Compass, he was able to work with management to pull a list of vehicles to choose from. It took 2 days (Friday night, into Saturday afternoon) to land on the right car, but that's only because we had such a good selection to choose from. The manager was also helpful in the negotiation process and didn't apply the typical pressure tactics of used car sales. I recommend this dealer if you are looking for a used or new car.
