Terrible Service!!!

By samm on 9/27/2018 at 3:59 PM. Helped by Bryan.

I had a flat today in a DMV parking lot. I called Crest Cadillac to let them know I was on my way to get tire replaced and needed a loaner. I have run flats and was told it was safe to drive on the flat. I was put in touch with a service guy named Bryan. Bryan told me not to bring my car in because he did not have my tire in stock and actually the tire was backordered from manufacturer. He also indicated that he was not going to authorize a loaner due to the extent of time it might take to get a loaner. This part I understood. What I did not understand was his unwillingness to help guide me through what to do. I asked him about a similar tire in another brand. He told me, “I don’t have any tires in your size in stock”! Really? In all of DFW not a single tire in my size? Then he proceeded to tell me to get a tire from Discount Tire! Unbelievably terrible service. Bryan could care less that I was stranded and did not know what to do about getting a tire. He was rude and very unprofessional. I asked to speak with manager but had to leave a message which was never returned. I will NEVER buy another car from Crest Cadillac!!

I would not recommend this dealer.

satisfied

By 350zboy on 9/9/2018 at 9:54 PM. Helped by Kenneth Augustadt.

Top notch, hi end dealership. My salesman Kenneth answered all questions and really made me and my wife feel at home. He took the time to answer all questions and let us test drive as many cars as we wanted with no hesitations. I really believed he wanted is to leave very satisfied. This is the reason I am and will continue to be a repeat customer.

I would recommend this dealer.

AWESOME!!

By Chuck Fleischer on 8/11/2018 at 11:03 PM. Helped by Gene Reeves, Dan Meeks..

Gene Reeves has been handling my aut service since 1999 when I bought my first car there, a 1999 Isuzu Trooper. Then a 2004 Escalade, a 2014 SRX, a 2016 CT6, a 2017 XT5, and now a 2017 CT6. I've NEVER had anything to even think about being upset over. Top shelf service department, top shelf sales experiences.

Upper management to the Rescue!

By ya-eone on 5/10/2018 at 9:22 PM. Helped by Jolly.

I bought a used vehicle from Crest. The conditions of sale was somewhat challenging due to the condition of the vehicle. As I understood it, the vehicle was a trade-in that had not gone through the regular service and sale readiness. Tire, rear light and other minor parts had to be replaced, but I had to agree to buy the vehicle before these services were performed. The vehicle couldn't be properly checked out because regular things like remote etc were not working. I agreed to buy the vehicle because I liked the vehicle and trusted Crest's reputation. Things got complicated when some of the important options were not working after the services were completed. The salesman (Jolly) was understanding, but the manager (Steve) didn't want to fix anything else on the vehicle. Luckily, the malfunctioning options only needed proper operation.and adjustments. 2 days after the vehicle was picked up, we noticed that the A/C was not functioning properly. The vehicle was taken back to Crest for diagnosis. A rental vehicle was provided while the vehicle was being serviced. The service department initially requested that I pay $400.00 of the cost of $1,600.00 to get it fixed. They later waived the $400.00 charge. Although I had some problems with the buying experience, the eventual result was positive. The 5* is to show appreciation for the commitment to customer satisfaction.

I would recommend this dealer.

Do Not Do Business Here!!!!

By Roksoldier1 on 3/26/2018 at 3:51 PM.

WORST DEALERSHIP TO DO BUSINESS WITH!!!! Leased a new Escalade from Crest Cadillac for the first time. It did not go as well as expected from a Cadillac Dealership, but oh well. Ive had the vehicle for a few months now and have used the concierge service twice for scheduled maintenance. First time, the driver took over 5 hours to get to us, we waited around all day for him and eventually had to reschedule for the next day. Wasted an entire afternoon waiting. Ok, now for the second service trip. This time, the Valet driver wrecked our vehicle!!! I received a call from the Valet manager and service manager at Crest. He said " I am sorry Mr.---------. Unfortunately our valet driver had an accident in your vehicle on the highway. Do not worry, we will fix it and it will not cost you a thing". Ummm.....I hope not!! Anyway, it is repaired and obviously we are not happy. I tried to work something out with the dealership and Cadillac District manager Doug _______. No one was willing to assist in this and I was told to take the vehicle back as it is and return their loaner or I would be charged $200 a day, rental fee. I will NEVER purchase a vehicle from Crest Auto Group and encourage you to look at another dealer. We have had great experiences with Sewell and will go with my gut next time and purchase our next Cadillac's from them. Maybe I am over reacting, but when you pay $100k for an SUV, you don't want someone else to wreck it and be told to shove it. I was offered to trade it in though. Put an additional $4500 down, extend my term 3 months and my payment goes up over $100 a month. Yeah, that's a GREAT DEAL!!!

I would not recommend this dealer.

Unsatisfied "Certified" Used Escalade, Really!

By Nmactaylor11 on 3/9/2018 at 3:38 AM. Helped by Salesman was Jolly George, who was very nice and helpful. On my last visit to the Crest Service Dept, I called the Svc Mgr, but still did not get the results that were promised and expected..

I purchased a Certified Used 2016 Escalade ESV a few months ago. I asked my Salesman about the squeaky brakes before I took it home, but was assured that the squealing would stop after a day or so. I took the vehicle home at night, so I didn't notice that my tires were bald until the next day. I had to take it back a couple of days later to get the tires replaced. I also asked them to check the brakes again, because the squealing was getting worse. Since then, I have been back a total of 3 times with no results. The Service Mgr was nice, but I have very little confidence that they put my vehicle through certification process or did any of the detailed inspections that I was promised. I am definitely not satisfied with the service or the results that I have received at the Crest Cadillac of Frisco. They have basically told me that there is nothing that they can do and that I have to live with the loud squealing that comes from my vehicle every time I stop (it sounds like a bus). Very unsatisfied, N. Taylor

Lease Return

By Soniya2608 on 6/2/2017 at 4:41 PM.

Had an issue with Lease returns (wear and tear). Duncan followed up on the issue explained their situation and both parties came into consensus regarding the Bank payments. Overall would appreciate Duncan's and express my thanks to you to deal with the issue in a professional manner extended to me. This service convinced me to close the matter and issue. I would highly recommend your dealership to any person seeking either service on their current vehicle or leasing another. Thanks again.” -

This dealership is a gem!

By robertjb on 3/19/2017 at 7:38 PM. Helped by Andrew Calvert.

Yes, that's right--a gem. Though most (and rightfully so) see the prospect of visiting a car dealership as enticing as getting a tooth pulled, the folks at Crest Cadillac will make you rethink the typical stereotype. The facilities themselves are top-notch; slick, upscale, and loaded with amenities. The staff is knowledgeable. They make everything simple, and perhaps most importantly, they do not play "hide the ball". They are upfront about everything. I cannot recommend these folks enough!

Best Car Buying Experience EVER!!!

By Tony J. on 3/7/2017 at 3:23 PM.

From the moment my wife and I stepped out of our vehicle until we drove off the lot, Hussain Jafri made our car buying experience the best ever!! He was genuinely courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. He had every opportunity to take advantage of my lack of knowledge about leasing but took the time to explain the leasing process. He LISTENED to what I wanted and when I asked what I had to give up in order to be where I needed to be in payments his reply was "Why should you give up anything?" I had spent hours at the other dealerships just trying to negotiate a lease deal but within thirty minutes with Hussain, we had agreed upon a price and started the financial process. While waiting to sign papers, Hussain made us feel as VIP's by offering food, water, soda. I will always be grateful for providing us with the best car buying experience EVER!!! Sincerely, Tony & Ester Johnson

The service and attention to detail is outstanding. The personal touch is excellent. For years I drove Ford cars, I now have 2 General Motors vehicles. You need an appealing product that has great quality. My Cadillac has comfort, elegance, performance and style. Jafri made the purchase easy and entertaining. His knowledge about the cars is first rate. He looks out for his customers and never allows them to feel uncomfortable. Jafri is Crest Cadillac to me.

Excellent Sales Experience with Andrew Calvert

By 17XT5TL on 1/30/2017 at 10:59 PM. Helped by Andrew Calvert, Paul Zugelder.

My 2013 SRX lease was about ends in a few month, so Andrew worked out a deal for us to turn in our 2013 SRX for a 2017 XT5. The sales process took place very efficiently with much less tress with Andrew. He worked out a very acceptable deal for us, we closed out the deal in just a little over an hour. We love the XT5 very much and it has all the things we had looking for. Also Andrew recommended Paul Zugelder, the Service Advisor for our new car and we love Paul as well. Thank you Andrew and Paul for your excellent service.

Bad Service from the Service Manager

By Craig Denton on 10/5/2016 at 4:39 PM. Helped by Randy.

If you plan on getting decent service from Crest's service department, you need to buy the vehicle from them. I bought a used 2012 Escalade with 15k miles left on warranty and the truck needed a lot of work after I drove it for a few weeks. After my 10 visit of having to badger them to fix things under warranty, I still had not gotten my front struts replaced or a whistling sound coming from the engine. I would just get told that the struts have to be dripping onto the floor and it didn't matter that it was 90% leaked out all over the parts near by. They also kept saying they could not find the whistle sound even though I could here it with the radio on. I had to involve GM on the struts and they extended the warranty because Crest refused to do anything to help before the warranty was up. Right after the warranty was up, the whistled turned out to be a $500 oxygen sensor that Goodyear found and replaced. The Struts didn't fail 100% for several month after my warranty was up. I called GM first expecting a fight from Randy and Mary. One shock was 100% failed and the truck was un driveable because of the bounce created by the failure. Crest, after speaking to GM, agreed to replace the one for $100 and refused to fix the other. The Escalade would never drive correct with 1 new and one that was about to go out 100% in a month or 2. Randy agreed that was how close it was but he was absolutely not going to help me. I got back with GM and they said Crest was flat out not going to help, so I pleaded with them to help me on the labor and I would buy the part since I saw that 1 AC Delco Strut was $300 online. Randy/Mary came back and said they would give me a 20% discount on the already quoted $749 (one strut) The total came out to $716 so I can only assume they raised the price then gave 20%. Thanks for that. I do not feel like I was handled correctly but they are very satisfied and the BBB wasn't much help either. Randy or any service advisor never came out to talk to me on all the visits when I came to pick up my truck - Didn't want to explain why they were not going to help me for different items. My last visit to pay from the struts was no different. I gave my service advisor a zero on a hand help, and Randy appeared from no where to confront me on it. He said "Why did you give your service advisor a zero?" I said "I gave that zero to you, I didn't know I had a service advisor other than that" Randy then told me they don't deserve a zero. I explained why they do deserve one and he turned and walked off in a huff without saying good bye. I have never been screwed by such a prominent company like Crest and certainly never been treated like a second class citizen either. I am very disappointed and plan on telling as many people as possible for the way they handled everything. On the good side, I have friends that have paid full price for expensive cars from Crest and they are treated like royalty and given everything possible up and above the norm. I won't be one of those people, because Crest lost a customer for life because of the way they handled someone that bought one of their trucks used and just wanted that same level of service I assumed I would get from them. Randy was extremely unwelcoming and Mary hid from me the entire time and not once got involved even though GM told me to work with her directly. I would write a letter to the Owner but I have already heard that is a dead end as well. I guess Sewell is the only choice going forward...

I would not recommend this dealer.
