Great dealership and staff

I have bought two Toyota Camry from Danville Toyota it was the best experience both purchases. The staff is so friendly and nice they will go out of their way to make sure the customer is happy. I would recommend them to anyone! The service department is also great they make you feel welcome and very helpful. I love my Danville Toyota!

A Home Run with Danville Toyota!

While shopping for a new Toyota Tacoma in my home state (New York), I happened by chance to stumble across the exact vehicle I was looking for on Danville Toyota's website. It turned out to be one of the luckiest coincidences imaginable, as their internet sales department offered me a price on the truck that beat all of my local dealers by about $2,000-$3,000. Well worth the cost of a plane ticket to southern VA and a 500-mile drive back home to NY. The dealership even arranged for a car and driver to pick me up at the airport an hour away - fantastic customer service! Just as importantly, Jennifer Strader and her team were professional, friendly, and transparent throughout the whole process, a huge contrast with the high-pressure (and borderline deceptive) sales tactics I was getting from my local dealerships. Thanks to Jennifer and the entire Danville Toyota team, the often-harrowing ordeal of buying a new car was positive, pleasurable, and stress-free. Though it will probably be 15 years before I have to replace my Tacoma, you can be sure that my first call will be to Danville Toyota. They've easily earned my business for my next Toyota purchase, even from 500 miles away. Though they are a small dealership, their customer service is second to none - do yourself a favor and drop them a line.

Excellent experience

Elijah helped get an excellent deal and find the right car for my needs. He gave me the best value on my trade in according to Kelly Blue Book. He was kind, helpful, and efficient. He personally double checked the car I was purchasing to make sure everything was in excellent condition. I will definitely be back to see Elijah for all my car purchases.

The entire car buying experience from resolving the terms, to finalizing the paperwork, to the final walk-through with Jennifer was exceptional. Working through the details and getting a terrific price was made very easy (and with zero pressure) by Jennifer. When we arrived at the dealership, everything was in order and Nick was super efficient in completing the paperwork. In short, it was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend Danville Toyota.

Great Experience

I wanted to trade in my car for a brand new model and wanted to make sure that I was getting the best car for my money and lifestyle. Eli Williamson helped me sift through the choices and was honest about each feature the different models offered. He even kept in touch with me while I thought over the matter for a few days and answered any questions I thought of during that time promptly. I never felt pressure to buy one specific model over another and was very happy with his salesman approach, very friendly and understanding.

Eli worked with me over several months during my hunt for the perfect truck and was always there with a prompt reply when i had questions. He was never pushy but was willing to find exactly what i wanted and let me buy when i was ready without any pressure. He was able to get me the exact truck i wanted for the price i wanted (they beat out several other dealers on pricing). You simply cant beat that! Id reccomend eli and Danville Toyota to anyone in the market for a new Toyota!

Customer service after the sales out the door

Unfortunately, customer service after the sale goes out the door when it comes to car buying at this dealership. A response, "my hands are tide I can't do anything" supports this dealer is not customer service friendly after the sale.

Love Danville Toyota!

When we got to the lot we were greeted promptly! We told the salesperson exactly what we were looking for and she found my dream car! The process after that was a breeze! We were so impressed with all the things Danville Toyota had to over - especially Toyota Care! The salesperson (Ashley) wasn't pushy and was very knowledgeable about the vehicle we were interested in! She listened and answered all of our questions and really made us feel comfortable. I strongly recommend Danville Toyota, especially Ashley! I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Terrible Sales Management

Drove 2 hours to look at truck that one of the sales managers had priced very well through email. On the CarFax, the original ownership was in Pennsylvania. Concerned about corrosion from road salt, i inspected the underbody which turned out to be in very rough condition. I asked if i could take the truck to get inspected from other mechanics and they insisted that we agree on numbers first. I had a vehicle that NADA values at $22,950 average trade and $21, 225 rough trade. They offered me $20,000 for my truck! My truck is in nowhere near rough condition. I asked why such the low ball? and they said because they'll wholesale it at auction because 2WD trucks don't sell there and it also needed tires and brakes. Then I asked why were they concerned about the tires/brakes if they're bringing it to auction??? In which the sales manager replied, oh no we are going to recondition it and sell it here. Within a minute he told me two completely different things. He still could not tell me how his numbers were so far off NADA's. He never even attempted to change his numbers on either truck because he knew I would take it to a mechanic and learn what a disaster the underbody really was. As soon as i mentioned my concerns about the corrosion and roughed up truck bed before we even got to the numbers, the deal was as good as dead. Besides their lousy sales techniques, they were very unprofessional. I walked around the showroom for 5 minutes before I was greeted. The sales manager who was involved with the deal, Tim Ryan, sat behind a desk and didn't even look up as he ate his food when I walked in. The sales manager who I had talked to through email, Matthew Mello, shook my hand with his eyes in his phone texting. If you value trustworthiness and respect, steer clear of Danville Toyota.

I took my 2003 Tacoma pickup to have it checked for a leak. Was met by a very nice manager that took the truck right in. Truck was gone over and no leak was found. It really eased my mind. Thanks for your great service.

very unhappy !!!!

Did not fix problem with used car i had purchased..Returned 4 times issue never fix! I would never go back or recommend this dealership to anyone.Very poor service ,was told it couldn't be fixed ! I was stuck with a lemon !!!!

Service Department

I took my 2009 Toyota Tacoma in for a sticker and to have a squeak it was making looked at. I was told that it was probably a brake squeak. I was called later and told that they had bad news. I was told I needed a new drive shaft, I asked how much that was and they told me $1536.00. The part alone was $1406,00. My wife called a local mechanic and I called our local Advance Auto store, They both said that it was no way that it could be the drive shaft and that it would only be a $20.00 universal joint.I questioned the service guy which told me that he,the technician, and the master technician with over 30 years experience had all checked it and that it was definitely the drive shaft. I asked to speak with the master technician at which point I was then told it was the $20.00 universal joint. I spoke to the general manager who said he would call me back and let me know that this situation was taken care of which I have yet to receive a call from. Obviously not telling the truth is standard practice at Danville Toyota. I question who are the professionals, Advance Auto or the dealership who was only looking to make big money had I not investigated this first. To even be told that they were all certain that my problem was the drive shaft until it was obvious that lies were being told. The service guy said that it was miscommunication. How could he have miscommunicated since he told me he had checked it himself with the technician and the master technician. Professional? Yes professional crooks. BE WARNED OF ANY SERVICE WORK DONE IN THIS SHOP!!!!

Friendly and precise customer service
