I have owned many different cars over my lifetime, all different brands and dealers from Colorado, Virginia, New York and Florida. Devoe Cadillac is the best I have encountered. From the sale to the service department, they are great people to deal with. I highly recommend them. I have bought two Cadillacs from them since I moved to Naples and my next one will also be from them!

Service Refused

I brought my 2002 Escalade in for a brake inspection/service. I had the brake lines replaced a month prior and had some continued issues the the ABS system. I just moved to Naples so I took it to Devoe because they are a GM certified dealership and wanted my GM repaired by them. Scheduled the appointment, gave them my vehicle information, once I arrived I was told my truck is too old, has too many miles (160,000) and they will not be able to service my vehicle. So, instead of getting my GM repaired by a GM certified dealer, I was refused service and sent on my way with my Cadillac not having a correctly operating braking system. This order came straight from the service manager as I had the assistant phone him, I will note the also enjoyed a laugh together. VERY poor form and I will gladly take my business elsewhere while passing the word along.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Fast and efficient

Recently I made an appointment with the service department because I was concerned about my new vehicle. Upon getting to the dealership I was politely greeted and asked to step inside to meet Jose. He was waiting for our appointment, on time and well presented. He asked about the problem, then got into the car to see the problem for himself. In seconds he had recognized that it was "operator error"-showed us the proper procedures-and we were ready to go. He did all of this without making us feel as if we were foolish for bringing in the car. Lovely!

Typical car thieves

I brought my vehicle in for a clunking noise in the rear end. (Shifting problems at low speads)... They had originally said there was nothing wrong with my truck and told me to test drive it with there tech.(After they had it for a week before I called). In which I did and now all the sudden there is a problem, there tech said with the transmission. But couldn't find it for himself till i drove with him. Note:(I know nothing about vehicles). The service writer Ronald then told me they would write a ticket stating the transmission was slipping which I said it was originally the rear end! (I thought)!Now the transmission has been changed and the problem still remains but worse than before!(THEY HAD MY TRUCK FOR 4 WEEKS)!!! I called to inform Devoe of the issues. We scheduled an appointment for today to take yet another test drive with (now the shop foreman) he stated yes I hear the clunk! The other service written that I was dealing with today says you may need software updates for the clunk noise to be adjusted. My opinion is they have no clue what is going on with my truck and are playing a guessing game. This is very unprofessional. I do not wish this on anyone. I will post the full report when they are finished. NOTE: The service writer Ronald was fired!

Always A Pleasure

I have been dealing with DeVoe for over 12 years. I had a problem with a used STS I had purchased elsewhere. I had it brought in twice and it was an anomaly, couldn't be replicated. I was in a situation with a disabled husband and two children. I need a dependable, safe car. The service mgr sent me to Galen in sales and he found me another on the spot. Rolled me out of the STS into another used car, better in mileage and warranty, with pretty much a switching of keys! Every two years I give him my preference of colors and he takes care of everything else! I'll never go anywhere or drive anything else.

Service...Above & Beyond

My Daily Driver remains my 2006 Cadillac XLR. Not Only Do I Treasure this car, but, I take Great Care in selecting those that handle it's Routine & Less Than Routine Service Issues. While I know that my car is out of most outside of most Warranty Issues, I continue to bring this car to my Dealer (DeVoe) for any mechanical problems or to handle All maintenance because of the care that I receive. Of all the people that I work with, I consider Greg Prudente most special. Not only do I consider him a very knowledgable resource to keep my car in the best possible condition, I have found him to be truly interested in taking care of my car on a consistently personal basis, I think of him as a friend who I have worked with for many years. I would say that Greg Prudente, himself, is the primary reason that I so fully trust and have confidence in working with the Devoe dealership.

I had a wonderful experience when dealing with DeVoe. They were above and beyond all of my expectations. I dealt with them via email and phone since I was arriving from out-of-town (IL). When I arrived in Naples everything was ready for me to pick up my vehicle and continue on my way. Car lock into thief mode and fix a leaking sun roof

Tim help me get Transportation when my car was waiting for parts to be delivered. Noise

My car had a very strange noise. I really think it was a vibration. The motor and transmission checked out fine, but it was so noticeable. My passengers noticed it and even women would say, "What is that noise?" I try to keep my car in perfect condition, and this was embarrassing. I had it at the service department three ties, but the mechanics could not determine the cause. It would be nice if GM had a specialist that could be brought in to diagnose a problem when the regular mechanics cannot determine the problem. I could not sell the car on my own to another person with this noise, so I finally was so frustrated with it, I traded it in at another Cadillac dealer in another city. I must say that Susan McLean, Assistant Service Manager was fantastic!!! DeVoe is fortunate to have her.

bad experience

Sent car in for oil change and 2 recall items. When received car outside thermostat read a RED 50. Therefore my A/C didn't work properly. Left car and seems everything adjusted and outside temperature recorded 71 like normal the next morning. Therefore A/C worked properly. Drove car that night and friend told me my parking light did not work. This was on drivers side. This was after I received my 12 point inspection with my oil change. I called after my golf game around 3:30 the next day but service was wrapping up for the day so I can't get this fixed until my return to Naples in February. I only have less than 6 thousand miles on the car. U have more service representatives than u have service people. I may have exaggerated that statement. Ur approach to the customer is great and appreciated but the bottom line is when service is complete that car needs to be checked by that rep. To make sure everything works properly rather than just standing behind a desk and handing back my keys. Also it is a nice gesture that u wash the cars but if they are not wiped down u r giving me back a car with a lot of water spots that have dried up in the sun. Better not to wash the car if it is not done right.
