WOREST COMPANY EVER , STAY CLEAR FROM THEM

PLEASE DON'T EVER BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP EVER , THE FINANCE DIRECTOR JORDON BASICALLY CALLED ME A LIER AND I WAS STEALING SOMEONE'S IDENTITY . FIRST THING THAT JORDON TOLD ME WAS IF IM WHO I SAY I AM I NEEDED TO REALLY GO TO MY HOMETOWN SHERIFF DEPARTMENT AND FILE A POLICE REPORT FOR IDENTITY THEFT BECAUSE WHAT FORD SAID I WAS A THEFT AND I STOLED MY OWN IDENTITY . SO I FILED A POLICE REPORT WITH THE MAJOR CRIMES UNIT AT THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE AND ALSO CALLED FORD CREDIT FRAUD DIVISION AND THEY WERE BLOW AWAY TO SEE HOW THE FINANCE MANGER OF DEACON JONES WAS REFUSING TO SELL ME A 74K TRUCK WHEN FORD CREDIT ONLY WANTED A SS CARD AND DL AND PASSPORT TO VERIFY WHO I WAS . I FAXED EVERYTHING OVER TO FORD CREDIT FRAUD DIVISION AND TALKED TO A JESSICA AND SHE STATED DEACON JONES WENT TO FAR AND I DO NOT NEED TO DO BUSINESS WITH THAT DEALERSHIP . JORDON FROM DEACON JONES ALSO STATED CALLING OTHER DEALERSHIPS WERE I HAVE BOUGHT OTHER CARS TO TRY TO SNICK INFO FROM THEM . I WENT STRAIGHT TO CROSSROADS FORD IN CARY AND BOUGHT A NEW 2019 F250 KING RANCH DIESEL FOR 10K OFF STICKER WITH 5.99 APR FOR 75 MO WITH NO PAYMENTS FOR 120 DAYS AND WENT THROUGH FORD MOTOR CREDIT . ALL DEACON JONES DEALERSHIPS WENT DOWN HILL WHEN THE OLD MAN DIED . OLD MAN DEACON JONES WAS A GREAT MAN AND A FRIEND OF OUR FAMILY SENSE THE EARLY 80'S AND MY PARENTS WERE ON THE BOARD OF DIRECTOR'S AT FIRST CITIZENS BANK WITH ME FOR YEARS AND WE HAVE HAD A HOUSE IN FLORIDA NEXT TO HE'S HOUSE FOR EVER. I HAVE CONTACT MAY TEAM OF ATTORNEYS TO SEE WHAT LEGALLY I CAN DO .

This was the quickest and most easiest car buying experience we have ever done! The salesman and all we dealed with was very nice,not pushy, and very professional but friendly. I love our 2017 Ford F-150.

Awesome, Sales, Finance.... horrible cleanup crew

I’ve bought several new fords from Deacon Jones Ford since 2001 and I was also an Employee (I left on good terms) Shane Bjoring is the best salesman I have ever dealt with. sales and finance departments are the best around. The only reason I only gave 4 stars is because of the incompetent wash/cleanup crew that prepares cars for delivery. There is generally 2-4 of them back there at a time and and it still takes them up to two hours to wash a vehicle. Additionally when I bought my new 2017 mustang GT, there were deep scratches in the trunk through the clearcoat. Instead of telling management, they used a dealer name plate to cover it up. this was confirmed when the detail crew supervisor admitted to seeing the paint damage and he was the one who covered it up. Once again, I experienced issues with the detail crew not only as a customer but as an employee. If ford would change their surveys and make delivery and cleanup a separate rating that won’t hurt the salesman, you would see a lot more complaints. fortunately, Shane my salesman had the flaws fixed in my paint. I’m overall very satisfied with the buying experience but if I was the General manager, I would Fire every single one of those guys washing cars. Just my opinion.

Best vehicle purchasing experiences

I just purchased my 3rd vehicle from Shane at Deacon Jones. I live on the coast about 2 hours from the dealership, so it certainly is not convenience that makes me shop with this auto group. It is however, the best dealership pricing, customer service and care that makes it worth the effort. Shane helps me find what I'm looking for, the finance folks search to find me the best terms, and they deliver my vehicle to me when we reach a deal. It really is that easy to work with them. Best Service Ever, Not Pushy, only very helpful

I always said that I would never buy another car that I had to have a payment on, after having a vehicle for so long that was paid off. However, my old vehicle suddenly broke down without a warning and I knew I needed something more reliable. I was referred to Deacon Jones by a family member, and I have to say they EXCEEDED my expectations. I wanted a certain payment that I knew I was comfortable with, not what the bank said I could afford (which was higher then my comfort zone). Deacon Jones, found me the perfect car, 2013 Ford Focus, beautiful and in like new condition. Lester and John @ Greenville Deacon Jones went above and beyond to help me. Please go see them.

Made buying my first new car a breeze!

At the tender age of 59, I bought the first brand new car in my life! The salesman, Billy Hedgepeth, was respectful, friendly, and he worked hard to get me the best deal possible. Financing hooked me up with Ford Credit, and I drove away a happy woman. My 2017 Ford Focus SEL is a fun ride, and I will be back to Deacon for my next new car!

Unwilling to fix damage caused to my vehicle

On April 5, 2017, I dropped my 2016 Ford F-150 truck off first thing in the morning for a previous issue they were fixing. Later that day I went back to the dealership to retrieve something I forgot inside my truck. At that time my service writer, Haley McBrayer, told me that my truck was in detail. As we walked back to retrieve my items she asked me if it was okay if they removed some pinstripe residue that was on there. At that point, I could see that the detailer was already half down the side of my truck removing it. Deacon Jones Ford elected to have my truck sent to detail, I did NOT authorize this to be done. However, at that point, I had no reason to think they wouldn’t do a good job. I trusted that the Deacon Jones Ford detailer would take care of my truck and do it properly. Unfortunately, the result is now I have very distinct haze/swirl marks running down all four doors of my truck created in the process of removing the residue. Waiting for a day off, I went back up to the dealership on 25 April 2017. The General Manager of Deacon Jones Ford Scott Johnson, requested that I bring it back up there so he could take a look at the damage. Upon his inspection, he simply dismissed it and said I that he didn’t feel like it was a big deal and that I can get it fixed myself. I explained to him that it would need paint correction to remove the severe swirl marks. This according to a quote that I received from a commercial detailing shop before I returned to the dealership. The General Manager of Deacon Jones Ford, Scott Johnson, after acknowledging there were in fact swirl marks, said that it wasn’t worth what they quoted me and without saying anything else he just walked away.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Big Mistake!

Deacon Jones cost me $2400! My F250 develop an oil leak on the hydraulic pump due to a bad O ring. This shop recommended replacing the pump with a new hydraulic line set ($1200) indicating that the O ring could not be replaced reliably. They performed the work and another oil leak developed after approximately 30 days. This time the hydraulic line set threaded nut had vibrated out of the treaded tap on the pump due to poor quality workmanship. The nut obviously was not properly torqued to OEM specs and came out. Pump port threads were ruined requiring a new pump (another $1200). The dealer GM stated that "they were not responsible for my bad luck". Exact quote! Use them at your own risk!
