Please stay away from this dealership!!! 1. Before I purchased my vehicle I said I need assistance to take the vehicle home. In order to make the sale Roland Gutierrez Internet / Fleet Manager at Diamond Honda in Puente Hills SAID DONT WORRY WE WILL HELP YOU TO DELIVER THE VEHICLE HOME. EVEN THE FINANCE MANAGER SAID WE WILL HELP YOU. SOON AS I PURCHASED the VEHICLE I WAS TOLD TAKE UBER OR LYFT. 2 I DID TAKE A LYFT AND PAID 57$ TO GET THERE. BEFORE I ARRIVED I CALLED 1 HOUR AHEAD OF A TIME AND SAID I AM COMING TO PICK UP THE VEHICLE. I WAITED 3 HOURS TO PICK UP MY VEHICLE SAME PERSON Roland Gutierrez never even came out and told me your vehicle is ready, it was parked outside for 2 hours while another person Gloria was keep telling I need to wait. nobody even checked if my vehicle is ready. Until finally another person went outside saw my vehicle and apologized for the long wait. 3. NOW ITS BEEN 2 MONTH NO REGISTRATION NO TAGS. I AM DRIVING WITH EXPIRED tags. 10/26 CALLED THE DMV JUST TO FIND OUT THAT DIAMOND HONDA NEVER COMPLETED PAPERWORK. 4. Jay Park General Sales Manager SENT EMAIL Thank you for allowing me to assist you in the purchase and said If I can assist you further in any way? I replied back immediately with my concerns never heard from him again. I sent 2 emails no response. You be the judge. I would suggest do not buy from them they are dishonest.

Wont budge price wise & tried ripping me off for my trade in

I purchased a vehicle from this dealer 2 years ago, it was a used 2013 Honda accord lx with 42,000 miles on it. I got it for 16,900+tax and registration. I was helped by Manny however, he does not work there anymore. I am in the market for another vehicle and came across the perfect one on their website. My insurance agent gave me the name of an employee who will help me get the "best price" and the best numbers that will work for me. I contacted the employee by the name of Daniel and right away told me he would be able to lower the price for me and give me the deal I'm looking for. I told him I didn't want to drive an hour and a half to the dealer just to then be told nothing can be done. He assured me of everything. As soon as I arrived at the dealer he came to greet me and blatantly passed me on to another sales representative. Who then told me the car was not even ready to be seen or test driven because it was being repainted. Why would a car need to be repainted if its in excellent condition how Daniel told me. I then went with the new sales person to try and run some numbers and see if the deal I need can be made. Turns out they only want to give me 8K for my car when I have only added 11,000 miles on in two years and is in good condition (not excellent, not very good, on carfax). With that being said my car is worth at least 12K in trade in value and 15K in retail value. After the negative equity, I would have less than a thousand in positive equity + my 4k down. They didn't value me being a returning customer, nor did they give a respectful offer for my vehicle. I know if they really want to make a sale, they can make the numbers work out. I feel like I was not taken seriously because of my age. I came a year ago with a much older friend to trade in his Volkswagon (valued at 7,200 on car fax trade in value) which he still owed 14K on it. He was in the market for an Accord EXL V6 priced at 34K I think brand new. After 2 hours of negotiating, he got the out the door price of 35K. That's an insane deal, he got discounted over 9K. My suggestion to anyone trying to shop at this dealer, only go if you're a bit older (29 and up) to be taken seriouse.

Extremely Unhappy

I took my car in to replace my drivers side sun visor, when my car was claimed to be ready I walked out and my car had not been pulled up. I sat and waited outside and when my vehicle came I sat inside and inspected it before I left. As I looked on the top of my car ceiling there were black marks all over and handprints all along the side airbag. I told the representative who was assisting me and he took it back to be cleaned. I waited again and when he brought my vehicle back I inspected it again. The same spots were still there. Again, he had to take my vehicle back to be cleaned, he claimed he was upset about the carelessness of the workers in the back and I was not the only customer this has happened to that day. Extremely disappointed.

I would not recommend this dealer.

I had a recall for my 2005 Honda CRV for Driver's Airbag. Customer service told me that it will take at least 2 to 3 hours to replace driver's airbag. But it only took 30 to 45 minutes. Very fast service!!! Very good environment, too.

Everybody was nice and friendly but the girls where the customer keys are were whatever. The shuttle people were awesome and Alan Chan took care of me and my car well.

Check Tire Pressure

Before going to Diamond Honda, I went PepBoys to check my tire pressure and mechanics said there's a nail on my tire. After inspection from Diamond Honda, there is no nail.

Underhanded and corrupt. Stay far away!

We're interested in a car at this dealership, had already found a car we liked but were interested in getting a different color. Called the dealership to see if they could match the price we had, they refused to deal over the phone, so we drove well over 1 1/2 hours to negotiate. When we came in they would not just negotiate the price of the car, but made us take it on a test drive and fill out financing paperwork before negotiations passing us through multiple salespeople. Could not meet the price we had and gave us a higher price after making us wait forever for the back and forth from salesperson to manager. They wanted to charge us an additional $1000 for a warranty they promote on their website as being free and included on all of their cars. We initially decided we did not want to pay more for the same car in a different color and went home. Ultimately changed our mind and decided we were willing to pay more for the color we really wanted. Called to let them know we would be coming in to get the car and was told that another manager was now involved and they would not honor the price they had given the day before, but we could have the car for another $200. I asked to have this new manager call us to discuss. He never called us. The first manager did finally call us back over 6 hours later. Underhanded and corrupt sales practices. Stay far away!

major work being done

I come here for regular oil change & service. I have worked with David Gomez for the last few visits. He was very helpful and offered ways I could save money which I really appreciated. I like that they give my car a full diagnostic when I come in for an oil change. Some people might say that this is a way to look for more work. My family depends on my car working well so I appreciate the "report card" each time. I never feel pressured into any work. The service personnel have always been honest about how immediate I need to have the work done. This last visit was one of these immediate visits. The only minor complaint is the long wait time -BUT there is a comfortable waiting area with coffee & tea fully stocked. I was also offered a shuttle to take me home while I waited for my Pilot to be worked on AND even a ride back to service department when it was done! On the positive side- long wait times mean this service department will be around a long time & people must like bringing their cars here. Otherwise, they wouldn't be so busy.

First service was extremely disappointing.

The service manager asked in an email IF we could not mark "excellent" as a review of the service received, to call him or her. He/she did not leave their name or number. We called Diamond Honda and left two messages for the service manager to return our call. No one returned our call. A part of the assembly for the spare tire was left in the console; the hood of the car was left unsecured; the price for the new tire was quoted to be $120 with $20 for installation; the bill showed we'd OK'd $180 which was not true; the vehicle is a 2016 Honda Odessey - and the tire is not warranted. Upon further review, please change that rating to one (1) star.

Oil change

Initially my Civic was alerting me that an A1 service wqs needed. I purchased my vehicle at Diamond Honda & that in itself was a really smoothe experience with Edgar. Anyway David was my auto tech (not sure what the correct term is) I was told it originally costs $96.00 to get the A1 service completed which is an oil change & tire rotation. An hour later my my car was ready and a rotation was not needed so the final bill was about $56.00. It was also inspected for additional services but none was needed.

Just wanted a battery for my key

I went to the Cashiers to get a new bettery for my key. No one helped me after 6 min later. There were 2 girls just staring at me didn't even say hi or how can i help you. After someone came out from the back they helped me and still took a while to get the battery. Wish they were a little faster.

Service with trust and knowledge

I brought my car to Alan for a service and there was a noticeable revving noise after i took my foot off the gas pedal. within 2 hours i was informed the wheel bearings had gone bad. in addition to this service i needed more parts replaced. alan walked me through every step of the process and explained why this was needed and why i should not wait. Parts had to be ordered and not all of them showed up. Alan did not hesitate to extend the rental car for me until the car was ready. Granted no one wants to spend money on servicing their car, but when the details are explained it not only reaffirms my trust in alan, but also my trust in Honda.

Great Service

I came in because I needed a tire immediately as a result of my tire blowing out due to driving over a pothole. I arrived at around 7:15 a.m. without an appointment and was out by 8:15 a.m. thanks to David. When I arrived, David immediately assessed my car and determined I did not need a new rim. The new tire and old rim was placed on my car immediately and I drove off able to finish the rest of day. Thanks David for the great service.
