I leased a new vehicle recently. I basically did most of it on-line and by e-mail. It was seamless process. My sales rep (Shakeil Lucas) was amazing (vibrant and extremely attentive).. Make sure you ask for him, you cannot go wrong!!

I was in town for a few days while taking care of family business. While there I had vehicle trouble. I contacted GMC and the representative helping me emailed the local dealerships with my particular needs. That SAME AFTERNOON Phil with Don Bohn Buick GMC Westbank called me. He was sympathetic to my situation, and I truly felt he would do what he could to help. He said he would call me the next day...AND HE DID CALL ME THE NEXT DAY! In a day and time where many businesses’ customer service seems nonexistent at best it was pleasantly surprising that it was the exact opposite at Don Bohn Buick GMC Westbank! Phil took care of everything and had me an appointment with Eric the next day. I was promptly and courteously greeted by a service technician who immediately directed me toward Eric. I was kept updated as to the progress with my vehicle and called as soon as it was completed. I cannot say enough wonderful and positive things about Don Bohn Buick GMC Westbank! I travel and have had reason to visit many dealerships but this one is top notch!! Phil and Eric are true assets to this business!! With that being said - Phil even called me today to thank ME for my business and to ask if everything was ok, to my liking, and to see if I was 100% satisfied. Great customer service above and beyond! I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Metarie, Westbank, New Orleans area (and beyond)! Businesses can sell all day long but great customer service in the repair department is truly what keeps folks returning!

The service personnel and the Technician was professional, courteous, and personality was nice. However, my rating was based on NO deal and/or No promotion in regards to price being more appealing.

Rude staff

I called twice in 6 weeks to schedule service for a recall and no one would return my call. I went to the dealership to speak with someone in person and the staff was very rude. The guy I dealt with kept interrupting me when I was trying to talk and getting me to just stop talking. Another guy was near us and shouted that parts didn’t exist for the recall. The guy I dealt with said he was in sales and didn’t know what he was talking about. So the “salesman” came out of the office he was sitting in and said “technically there are no parts for that.” I already had a very frustrating experience with my calls not being returned, the woman I spoke with at the dealership, and the man that kept interrupting me, then that guy had to be cocky when no one was speaking to him and he had nothing to do with the matter. The guy I dealt with told him nothing and at no point apologized for any of the issues I encountered. He would just cut me off and barely let me talk. Horrible customer service. I will not go back or recommend them.

Brought my car in for service on Saturday, was suppose to receive a call for an update on Monday, no call received. Then Tuesday I called 3 times and left messages for the technician, no call back, then Wednesday my husband had to call to find out what was going on and someone told him that the car would be ready that evening. I received a phone call at 5:15pm on Wednesday telling me my car was ready! Very disappointed in the service.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Friendly and courteous

Buying a used car

Had the worst experience in buying a car. Had to sit there for 7 hrs just to buy a used car. The sales manager Frank doesn't know what's he is doing and Tracy the finance mgr is useless and likes spreading her legs to show everyone her underwear. Very unprofessional. Lied to me about the skylink. It's just to keep track of where the car is, so if you miss a car note, they will shut down the car. Pitiful people.

Extended Warranty

About a week ago i had an issue with my extended warranty in relation to certain parts being covered on my vehicle. The finance manager Mr. Felipe de J Salguero spent several hours with me and he did not stop until the issue was resolved. This was just another example of great service after the sale and I have to say 'way to go Finance department!!' excellent service and dedication in keeping Don Bohn operating as "One" successful team!!!! I have been in the market for a Truck so I decided since my family,friends and myself have dealt with Dohn Bohn GMC for a long time and my last truck was purchased with them; I decided to go back to them even though I live further away now. Well im browsing there website and stumble across what appeared to be a misprint.... I inquired about it and a I got a salesman on the phone who told me that the website price is right and even recited back the stock number to me and I repeated it back to him to make clear there was no mistake. We even spoke every day for 3 days to be sure this was right. SO, I drive my over an hour drive excitedly there to check this thing out in person and claim my prize. When I arrived i was warmly greeted by Corey/ Cory and I stop him with the internet add with pictures to be sure I was not being fooled by a sales pitch. He confirmed that indeed that was it and we were ready to strike a deal. I was actually not even going to negotiate much. I was ready. I fill out all the paperwork with all the necessary personal information needed to get this done and waited for an hour and half. Now Corey/ Cory has come back in fourth a few times between me and his sales manager and is pumped to move this truck. The time has come he is bringing some paperwork (remember after getting all my personal information and running it to see where we stand) and says sit down.... We have a little problem, that price was wrong. So I said how much? Well it was about 25 thousand dollar mistake. Why could this not be caught until after running my information? Why was it not caught within the 4 days before I showed up there?
