Tires

I was informed that my new Edge Titanium with only 19,000 miles was halfway through the tire tread and should plan on replacing them in the not too distant future. When I challenged why a brand new car would only get 40,000 on new tires, I was told sometimes Ford puts “less expensive” tires on their new cars to keep the cost down. On a Titanium? That listed over $40,000? That’s certainly not the quality one would expect on the Titanium. I’ve bought Ford vehicles for over 40 years and this is my last if this is now Ford’s standard for quality.

Service on my 2014 Escape

I am completely satisfied with my experience having my oil changed at Don Hinds Ford. Other items were checked during my service call and I received honest evaluations which appreciate. There was no push for additional services.

I enjoyed buying a vehicle from Don Hinds Ford! Sarah Bolen was bery nice and informative. She was great to negotiate with. She took care of all our needs and was pleasant accomplishing them. I was not pleased with the cleaniness of the inside of the Escape when we picked it up. It was still dirty on the floorboard, a molding piece was missing on the passenger side outside column and the head liner was spotted and dirty. I returned the vehicle to the dealership and it was taken care of. I think the latter things is something that shouldn't happen. Thanks

Friendly, but not super effective.

The people at the dealership have always been really friendly, but have failed to resolve my car issues on two separate occasions. The first time I took my car to them, they told me that nothing was wrong with the battery or ignition, but then my battery died twice the following week. The second time I took my car to them, they had me wait for 2 hours while they attempted to work on the stereo system, but were unable to resolve my issues. They also never have any rental cars available, which makes it very difficult to get my car worked on when I have an emergent issue, as I am a single car family.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Great Salesperson - F&I So So

My salesperson Josh Kern, was great. He went way above and beyond in the purchase of my 2018 4RUNNER and I recommend without reservation. Apparently, the finance manager has very few people write a check for a vehicle. First it was can you get a cashiers check. Then it was, well, just finance the vehicle and pay it off in one payment. Finally got it done by verifying the check was good with the bank and pulling my credit. Clearly he did not trust me and had a difficult time getting past using his finance options.

Easiest dealership to work with in town

I’ve never owned a ford before so my wife and I thought we would give Don Hinds a try. Back in January we leased a flex and then in June we bought a fusion. Both transactions we simple, fast and easy. I was able to do everything via text and only had to step foot in the dealership to test drive the cars and sign the paperwork. Josh in sales is one of the best salesman that I’ve ever worked with at any dealership, and Brad in finance is the one I would highly recommend to work the deal. I would highly recommend Don Hinds Ford for any new vehicle purchases.

100,000 Mile Service

Don Hinds completed a 100,000 mile service for my car. Although the basic maintenance was completed, the maintenance tech missed several items such as both a front and back light not working. I am not confident that it did a full or meaningful inspection. The dealer did not honor our appointment and took 12 hours to complete the service. It also returned the vehicle dirty. For $900, I expected a better outcome.
