Horrible, degrading experience, High Pressure doesn't begin.

Horrible, Degrading Experience, - Sales Mgr - Jay Alasmarrai - gives all automotive sales people a bad name. High Pressure doesn't begin to describe this experience. Jay took my Car keys from my car to do evaluation quote, which took 1/2 hour, All trying to soften me up for the Pressure to come. I had to request, if not beg for my keys back four times before they believed me when I said I would not purchase today the car they desperately tried to shove down my throat- wrong color! Horrible, degrading experience, High Pressure doesn't begin to describe this nightmare of a dealership! And the real sad thing is, I have purchased a car from this dealership before....Never again.

Extremely disappointed with Service department

The service department is very bad and I was extremely disappointed with my recent Service visit for Battery replacement and brake pads and Oil change. They brake one of my breaklight bulb during the service(battery replacement and break pads replacement). After the service, I came home and noticed one of the light stopped working and I reported the issue via email but there was no response. I have contacted online service rep via chat and explained the issue. Next day someone from service department has contacted me to schedule an appointment with Service adviser and promised that the issue will be taken care of since the brake light bulb broken/stopped working after the service visit(It was working fine before the service). I scheduled my appointment and went there but unfortunately the service adviser gave me an estimate quote of $169 for fixing the brake light bulb.I told him that I'm not paying anything since it was working fine before the service. Then the service adviser called the service manager , service manger was also not friendly and he said that the brake light can not be fixed without the charge. When I asked him that you guys break it and fix it then he said the light can brake anytime so it can't be fixed free even though It was very clear that one of the brake light was broken during their service for the battery replacement and break pads replacement. I'm not convinced with their explanation and I was not ready to pay $169 and wait for 4 hours for brake light bulb fix. I left the place and went to near by local mechanic(MIDAS), they fixed the brakelight for $25 within half hour!!! I would NOT recommend any of my friends to this place.

What a garbage place with idiotic sales management. Sales manager Ian Mcleod is an idiot and needs to be trained in customer service. I couldn't understand why is he such an arrogant fool. He is a good pre-cursor and indication of the future problems you can expect from this dealership. DON’T do business with them.

I purchased a used car from this dealership. If you buy a vehicle from them make sure you purchase the extended warranty. Because they will not help you when the car breaks down. My recommendation is do not buy a car from this dealership

Great Service

Bought two cars from here several years ago. Always have had great customer service from the Service Dept., better than most of the other luxury dealerships in the area including BMW and MBZ.

Fast, affordable and went the extra mile to ensure I had a rental car for each day my car was in the shop! The service advisor was great at explaining each step to me and was available to me every time I needed to reach him!

Service department not very friendly

I own a Nissan since Oct 2005, and always liked their way to take care of their customers. This dealership in Dublin doesn't care about your patronage at all. After the change of ownership in 2004, everytime I go there, either minor or major service, they always find a way to let me pay extra dollars. Especially if I do not need anything at all!!! They always find something (brakes, battery, shock, leaking of something). It's not really important if my car needs it. They just want my money. And even after fixed it, I call them because they mess up on something else, nobody takes care of my calls. Called at least 3 times, leaving name & phone number. Still waiting for Service Department to call me back!!! Forget it. They will not see me and my money anymore!!!

How do I give them ZERO stars...

I purchased a used 2012 Mini Cooper JCW from them on Jan 17 2015. The car was being sold as being in "excellent condition" with 42k miles. The sales rep said that everything had been checked and given a multi-point inspection and everything was in "excellent condition". After 3 months (and just over 4k miles) I took the car into the Mini dealership for a it's first oil change and it turns out the car needs $4000 worth of work. They said that the clutch and flywheel were fried and that I was lucky that the car had not broken down earlier. The tech said that there was no way this happened in the last 3 months and that it was obvious to him that this existed prior to me purchasing the car. When I called them to question them about this they basically told me that they didn't care and they were not going to make it right. They initially even refused to return my calls and I had to call up and get rude with their staff before they would even get a manager to talk to me. They did not even offer to bring it in to their own service center and inspect it. The sales manager Steve was rude and dismissive. STAY AWAY from these guys! They are only out to move the car off the lot and will lie and cheat you if that's what it takes. They previously have had many Better Business Bureau complaints and their Yelp rating was fairly low (my fault for not checking them out before I shopped there but I really wanted this particular model) . And as you can see here they have had several complaints on this site. This is my SECOND Mini. My previous model was a stick and lasted me ELEVEN YEARS with no problems at all.

He explains clearly what it takes to own an EV and help us with the leasing process. He is helpful before, during and after the sale of the vehicle. Outstanding dealership!

My wife and I went in not knowing anything about Nissan. Dublin Nissan treated us with respect and created a casual (stress-free) environment for a couple of "newcomers". We tested tested a few cars, fell in love with the Rogue (fully loaded package, with leather seats, XM, Bluetooth, GPS, all the bells and whistles) and walked out winners. The guys at Nissan beat out all the competition, and we looked at several comparables, including the Mazda CX-7/CX-9 and Chevy Equinox LTZ. Chris Zacharakis, Frank, and Norm were the best and worked with us on getting a great price on a car that fits our needs. We're so glad we stopped in!! If you are interested in purchasing a Nissan or are just interested in learning more about their vehicles, ask for Chris, Frank, and Norm!!

Dublin Nissan treated me fairly and handled the delivery of my Nissan Leaf quickly. Maybe a little to eager to sell me extras like Gap Insurance and an Extended Warranty, but I can appreciate they are trying to make their margins. Very professional and friendly.

I’d seen over 20 salespeople and test driven every compact make and model for months before I decided to buy a new Sentra. Joe Khan at Dublin Nissan was absolutely worth talking to from start to finish! He began by giving me the best internet pricing with the color and features I wanted, which other dealers said were not available. He was consistently respectful, flexible, non-pressure and upbeat about my questions and the negotiation. Joe knew his cars! He volunteered understandable technical information about under the hood, how paint is applied, the best financing, etc. His humor made it easy and actually enjoyable going through the buying process. At the end I felt I had made a good deal, that it was a win-win. Joe then spent extra time after the sale giving me absolutely helpful strategies that worked quickly for privately selling my old car. I never thought I would have an attentive salesman and service oriented experience at a car dealership! Hats off to Joe Khan for changing my thinking and taking the edge off! I highly recommend Joe to my best friends and anyone looking for a down to earth, good, professional and friendly car buying experience.

I can be a really difficult customer when it comes to car buying. I dont want to meet your MANAGER after five minuets. If you do that to me I simply walk off, I will not be pressured. When dealing with Amin he was courteous and did not put pressure to buy. He answered my questions without prying into my buisness. HE DID NOT USE THE PHRASE WHAT CAN I DO TO GET YOU INTO THIS CAR TODAY. That is another statement that will make me walk away immedatly. The price for the car was great and Amin really made me feel like he was on my side. I will reccomend buying a nissan from him to anyone in the san francisco bay area or the central valley. I am now the proud owner of a 2012 Altima.

I had an unfortunate experience with this dealership. Clint Burns was the salesman who sold me my used car and pauline wong was the finance person i dealt with. Mr Burns was a little more pleasant, however, he could not deliver a satisfying deal. After sitting around for hrs, his sale price was not the price we agreed on and his finance charge was ridicoulsly high for someone with mty credit. I simply walked away and came back the next day with a loan on my own with a better finance rate and we finally settled on the price. After Pauline Wong found out i did this, she called me into the office and offered a even lower rate, which i agreed too after asking her why she couldnt give me that offer yesterday, she rolled her eyes and simply said the bank was closed, however they knew already that i could have qualified for that rate. She sold me gap insurance which i cancelled but never recieved my refund until i reported her to the BBB, then i finally got it 3 months later after actively contacted the auto gap inurance and the BBB. I didnt even get my full refund. Dublin Nissan has poor customer service and Pauline Wong in particular, she should really seek some training or inservice on how to treat customers and work on her people skills.

I would not recommend this dealer.

I had a excellent experience at Dublin Nissan. I had communicated with the internet sales department the day before I drove 93 miles to the dealership. When I arrived that morning, Jonna was ready to help me with any of my needs.I explained what I wanted to pay, what I expected for my trade in and that I did not want to be there all day. She made sure Derek, the Sales Mgr. knew exactly what I wanted and expected. Derek made the purchase experience as smooth as possible. He was the consummate professional. All of my needs were met and all requests were fullfilled. As I drove home that day I realized I chose the best dealership to do business with and would HIGHLY recommend this dealership for any Nissan purchase!! Thanks Jinna and Derek! P.S. If I am in need of another Nissan, I know Iwould make the drive again!!

I had a very excellent experience buying my new 370Z roadster with Dublin. It started with excellent communication with the internet sales department and then upon my visit to the showroom, they already knew what I was interested and we cut all the small talk and got down to business. The purchase experience was top notch and there was no monkey business. Everything was done as they said it would be. I would highly recommend this dealership for your Nissan new car purchase, especially the sales team of David, Michael, Lori, and Phillip. Thanks Dublin! Also, they had a wicked Datsun 510 racer on the showroom floor, how can you go wrong with that?!?
