Tony Fazzina is amazing

I was having issues with the engine light staying on. I had it diagnosed as faulty timing chain. I spoke with the service Manager Tony Fazzina , and he arranged to have the vehicle repaired at a very reasonable price, provided a loaner car, and provided excellent service. The service dept are also very pleasant to deal with.

I would recommend this dealer.

did not honor quote on new car

Wanted a new 2018 Chevrolet Spark. Ten in the morning provided a quote, noon, went to make deposit, They could no longer get the car, told they now only had 2019 being made. Would be several months wait and they were not even willing to provide solution other then, "sorry".

I would not recommend this dealer.

Sold my Mom a car they didn't have!

THEY SOLD MY MOTHER A CAR THEY DIDN'T HAVE! My mother and father have both driven GM vehicles for the past 25 years and never have they experienced something like this until they made the mistake of dealing with Eastside GM. Just like every other car purchase, a negotiation took place, a contract was written and signed, a deposit was made and a VIN number was provided...but she was left empty handed. Two days later they informed her that they had actually sold her vehicle to someone else, and then tried to get her to pay even more money for a more expensive trim level that she did not want or need, in addition to the cost of transporting it from another city. A "GM Ambassador" was contacted and assured my mother that they would "get to the bottom of this", but to her disappointment they were useless in making up for the dealership's incompetence. My mother was even lied to about the details of the contract by the manager, who claimed things that were not even there and went as far as to say that the contract was now cancelled without her consent. Apparently, this kind of screw up is "common" and nothing to be upset about. I guess disappointing loyal customers is common practice for Eastside GM and especially GM's "ambassadors". Then they'll wonder why more and more people turn to different brands. You just lost two loyal customers and one potential buyer (me). Thanks for nothing.

Dishonest, cheating, unreliable.......

I purchased a 2016 Chevrolet Traverse at Oct 2015, we found that the time of the year of the extended warranty was wrong as it stated only 84 months not as what originally told by Gabe Pinto either 10 years or 160,000km, so we questioned Pinto why the term of the year was not 10 year & he told us the extended warranty company ( FCPP ) would send us a confirmation letter for extending another 3 years ( we confirmed with him for twice ) ,but Mr Jason Stewart & Mr John Goddard told us there was not 10 years term & 7 years was already the longest time.I was asked either cancel it or accept the way it is, however, cancellation wasn't my option, so they only offered me for a free maintenance as compensation for their mistake. It was so insulting & make me feel like a beggar for begging something that it should be belong to me ...... Don't go to this dealer

Just love dealing with all the staff in the service department. So friendly, courteous and so very helpful. Last time I was at Eastside was for a recall and I was amazed at how quickly the service was done and my car was washed. Keep up the excellent work and everyone will return.

EXPERIENCE WITH THE SERVICE AND BUYING A NEW EQUINOX

My first visit is to get a safety certificate as my safety expired, your service advisor Lester was very helpful and every process was smooth. Then next day I saw a flyer regarding your financing I phoned and speak to Lasha about buying a new car she asked me my name, and my wife's name and told me I will phone you back and you know what she called that we have a good news that our application was approved, By Saturday we took delivery my wife and I was so happy to own a new EQUINOX. A very smooth process that I promise Lasha to refer the dealership to my friends who are interested in buying a new car or truck. Quick Oil Change

I went to Eastside to get my oil changed. As usual as soon as I drive in I am greeted by name and helped right away. This time I was surprised how quickly they actually got to my oil change considering I did not have an appointment. It was too cold to wash the car, but they still vacuumed and washed the floor mats. I was literally in an out in about 30 minutes, that was the fastest time in a very long time. Eastside always take care of me, and I won't get my vehicles serviced anywhere else. My first experience with Eastside in 1994 at their old location. I have always been impressed by the consistent level of high quality service I have received.

Makes a trip to the dentist something to look forward to

I have bought many vehicles in my time on this earth but this experience was definitely out of this world..........and never to be repeated. I was ignored, left waiting and accused of being a liar, after deposit was taken of course. the truck was brought to me on delivery day, 2 hours later than the agreed time, dirty, the washer bottle was nearly empty, the gas tank had less than 1/4 fill and it was DAMAGED in 3 places. I waited 4 weeks to get it taken in for repair and the parts hadn't been ordered and I was then told I had damaged a bumper that I claimed was damaged at delivery. I have to say the bodyshop foreman is a star and tried to help as did the service guy but the rest of the wasters...nothing. After, I called GM to complain and was given a weak apology from the "GM Ambassador" and that was that, end of conversation, she wasn't interested. GM are suffering against the likes of Ford, I am not suprised. In 2 years, guess which model truck I will be driving!! Don't go near EASTSIDE or GM products for that matter

In 2012 my ignition went on my Pontiac pursuit, yet again, they drove the car to the dealership causing more damage, the repair was over $1000 when I asked for the parts removed they could not locate them, I contacted GM for assistance, they were also useless. Never will buy another GM product and certainly will never enter this dealership again.

Their technicians are really unprofessional. Once, they forgot to do the tire rotation after charged me. Second, they overfilled my engine and caused the engine lost power and got high RPM. But both service manager and technician just lied to me they didn't overfilled.

When I bought the car, the finance guy tried to sell me a FCPP warranty as GM warranty. When I asked them to cancel one insurance, they just lied to me and caused I could not cancel it by myself because it is too late. Too many cheaters are in this dealership.

Worst experience ever! This originally very well driven car from Quebec with very responsive brakes on highways has lost its normal braking after a “safe test” and brake work at Eastside GMC dealership with two visits on June 21st 2013. I lost trust on this dealership that couldn’t even do brake work properly that I expected on a GMC dealer. It’s even absurd to put customer on road in an unsafe car after a safety test plus two visits. After three weeks of dangerous road situations, I drove this car to another GMC dealership with much better Google reviews, and it turned out that the rear brake cylinder was seeping out fluid and air got into the system. As a dealership who can’t even do brake work properly on a 2007 base model Chevy Cobalt, they should refund me the 1016.37 dollars, due to their lack of responsibility of customer’s safety and professionalism of their work. For the sake of my car’s safety, I feel extremely uneasy to put my car back into their garage again. Termination of business relationship with full refund that covers diagnosis and repair fees is necessary.

I had some warranty work done just after driving off the lot I noticed a wobble in my steering brought it back after my trip they wanted me to pay them to look at it so I took it to another mechanic he said the only way the belts in both tires would go at the same time is mechanic error when I talked to them about it the basically said I don't know what I am talking about then they offered to install new tires for free if I had purchased them when most places will install them for free when you buy them anyways essentially making me out to be an idiot.

I would not recommend this dealer.

As per inquiry on phone with Rafi of Eastside Chevrolet, I agreed to cancel the extended warranty bought from FCPP. I will accept the IPAD that I want on Friday, May 18th, 2102. I will change my attitude toward the car dealer which is more promising and friendly. In the future the car dealer will be on the best business bureau list in Markham. Regards.
