Do not do business with this group

Do not do business with this group of people. They have tarnished the brand in many ways. I came from out of state to purchase from them. I had (1) dealbreaker: No paintwork or refinishing of any kind. Alexandra (Sales) assured me that this vehicle had no paintwork of any kind, and that it was a Certified Pre Owned. Upon inspection I discovered that multiple things on this vehicle had been painted. Aside from that, they were over 45 minutes late picking me up. They had plenty of notice on the day of travel leading up to my arrival. Unacceptable. They also charged me double the cost for license plates, which was added to the final cost. Had I went to my local BMV myself, the total for the plates would have been about 58$ for the year. BMW has been more than a passion of mine for many years. I’m a factory trained BMW Technician in my former career. I am well aware of BMW standards and ethics within the company. This group had failed.

Great buying experience!

I recently purchased a BMW X3 and Mike Spinale was my salesman. I had done my research and narrowed down my choices to an X3 and a Lexus NX. My test driving experiences were like night and day. Mike sold the vehicle without overselling it. There were no pressure tactics. First of all, everyone at the dealership makes you feel welcomed. Whether I'm buying or not, you want to feel acknowledged. I didn't get that at the other dealership. Mike was meticulous in his explanation of the various bells and whistles. Even when I picked up the vehicle, Mike was just as detailed. It's only been two weeks, but I am very pleased with my choice. From what I've been told, the first BMW is just the beginning! Should I decide to lease or purchase another BMW, I will definitely seek out Mike again!

Poor diagnosis, had to use 2nd party to find issue.

Dealership found not find cause of acceleration hesitation and electrical "weird faults" in January 2018. Engine lights on again and 2nd party noted it was a spark plug and worn coils. Must have been that way for many months. Vehicle serviced in July and dealer noted running as it should but still had some acceleration issues but no engine light. Now 1 year later, mis-diagnosis has lead to bad coils and a $991 bill. Plugs would have been a fraction of this cost!!! Dan Winters, service manager was very rude to wife and speaks down due to being a women. Do not use this dealer!!!!!

Try to sell stuff you don’t need

Had taken my car in for an oil change only on the car for months it was to a be certified preowned bumper-to-bumper warranty and then they charge to me for a bunch of things that I really didn’t need Had the car looked over at by a mechanic other than a BMW dealer and he put it on a computer everything was working perfectly fine Be where they work on commission if they don’t sell you stuff they do not make money

Excellent sevice

I bought my BMW 325i in because the spark plug light came on. I called Jason Betts service advisor, because I knew I paid 500.00 this summer for a tune-up.. Jason Betts said did not know that my car had a waring light for spark plug. Arrived at dealer Jason Betts says show me the warning light.. Jason Betts tells me that the technician mechanic forgot to program the service on my car. I like great a wasted trip. time and gas. I live in Detroit MI. I said by the way my car light bulb service light stays on Jason checked and told me that they are all working Jason Betts had my car washed took care of the spark plug issue gave me two roses. I exit the garage and put my car in reverse to see if they were working properly there glass on the garage door you can see reflection. The reverse left light was out. Jason Betts took the time and effort and replaced the bulb for me no charge.!

Not Buying Soon-No Time For You

Wanted to get info,sit in, possibly test drive a pre-owned 3 series. Will be purchasing in next 60 days. When I sold this to Jeff, his response was No reason to look today, the car you like may not be here in 60 days. TRUE, but a similar one may be.... He still could have shown me one,explained some features, offered a test drive,etc. But he didnt, and if I decide to purchase a 3 series, It surely Will NOT be from this dealer

Driving a BMW diesel vehicle which comes with its issues revolving around the exhaust system. Factory warranty expired Nov 2017. Had issue w/ EGR cooler which needed replacement and was quoted at ~$1,500 parts and labor. Asked service rep Jason to inquire at BMW of NA whether they could help. He did and I ended up w/ getting the issue taken care of by BMW of NA. Thank you Jason and BMW for accommodating a diesel enthusiast!

BMW X6 - 5,000 pound paper weight

Purchased a certified BMW X6 from this dealership. Two years into my 4 year contract (owning this vehicle). The engine stopped working. And no one from BMW North America or this dealership would address the issue. They were kind enough to provide me a quoted for a new engine ($21,000.00.). This vehicle sets in the back parking lot of this dealership. While I continue to pay $800.00 a month payments. I WILL NEVER buy another BMW or recommend this dealership. Smile in your face to get your business. But don't stand behind their product.

I visited Linda a week prior to making my decision on a vehicle. The dealership itself is beautiful and has a small play area for kids, which really comes in handy. While I didn't initially think I was going to end up purchasing here due to price, Linda worked really hard to earn my business, but in a very non-pressure type of way. I wish there were more sales consultants like her. Authentic, down to earth and really works to earn your business. They made financing easier than I've experienced in the past and really worked to respect my time when I came in for delivery. I'm incredibly happy I chose to shop not just with Erhard, but mostly with Linda.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE

Just want to share my worst experience with one of your service dealership Date: 11/16/2016 ZERO STAR(s) All I can say is I WISH ERHARD BMW OF FARMINGTON HILLS was not the only service dealership close to where I live. There I have received the WORST customer Service ever (). I understand if it happened to anyone who is a difficult customer but I am certainly not one of them instead I am there BMW Platinum Member. It happened to me multiple times now, when I went in to get my car washes, Oil changes & get treated like CRAP by the service reps. I had to walk out to the service desk to realize that my car is ready and I was only wasting my time & waiting in the sitting area. I bet this never happened to anyone at any car dealership. Imagine after eating all that continious bad behavior today from the service rep, you paid the bill, came to pick up your car & you sat in & start your car and get HONKED by the service rep & aggressively revving the engine to move your car. (Like literally in 30-40 sec). At the first you will think that he might have to take the car out as well but only when you realize that as soon as you move out they started giggling & stopped the car at your spot NO RESPECT AT ALL. To the owner who take his/her time to write the response: A small message to you, I read all the bad reviews & your almost same replies to them and was surprised to see that lot of people have shared the same experience as I did. Its such a Shame. Anyways At-least you will not see me or my car at your dealership again. Thank You & Have a Good Day

X6 5,000 pound paper weight

I purchased a certified vehicle from this dealership (BMW X6). And unfortunately have not been satisfied with this purchase. Within the first year I had engine performance issues, which required sensors to be replaced. And several months later. I had to replace a water pump. I have had constant engine performance issues. In which I was told by this dealership (service department) to review changing the gasoline. After owning this vehicle for a little over 2 years and 2 ½ years remaining on my contract. As I was driving home from work my engine just died. I was informed that my engine had frozen and would need to be replaced at a cost of $21,000.00 dollars. And this dealership also was nice to informed me. That I had purchased a lemon from them. And no one at the dealership or BMW of North America would do anything about it. So, I'm stuck paying $800.00 per month for the next 2 years for a 5,000 pound paper weight. You have been warned.
