Called and was told they would hold the car for me I offered a deposit Alex said ...no thats ok... I sent a check for payment , booked a flight from Phoenix to Bakersfield then I got a call 2 days before I was to leave telling me they sold the car. The flight was nonrefundable so it cost me $380.00 and he refuses to return my calls or emails . Stay away ! FAR FAR AWAY

I would not recommend this dealer.

Fantastic experience. It's becoming more and more standard nowadays to take one's time when shopping for a new car. There are so many brands and models out there now that it is almost reckless to take one day(or worse, a few hours) to make such a huge investment decision. For most, vehicles are the second biggest investment they will make in their entire lives. While these facts are very obvious to the average consumer, it seems as though most car salespeople are either ignorant of this or chooses to disregard it. It is a very rare thing indeed to find a salesperson who not only realizes this paradigm shift but supports and embraces it. In my opinion, Mauro from FIAT of Bakersfield is the epitome of excellence in ability to adapt to said paradigm. It took 3 visits to this dealership to make the decision to get a new 2012 Fiat 500 convertible. Each time, I was encouraged to take my time. Not only was it easy to leave, but I was not forced to shake the hand of a creepy, aggressive, white-shoed, oldschool used-car guy; as is a common practice with many dealerships. I gave respect, and in turn received it tenfold. Mauro and his manager were nothing but respectful and courteous each time I visited. Also, for the first time in my life, I was happy to accept the first offer that was presented to me. I won't reveal how much it was in relation to invoice because I do believe that dealerships, like any business, have a right to charge a fair price. While at Mauro's desk, I compared the price on my smartphone to deals others were getting. The value of his first offer far surpassed the median price that others were paying. Though I could have tried to haggle a few hundred more dollars off the price, I didn't want to because of how well I was treated. This was the best car-buying experience of my life, and I am thankful to Mauro and his manager(I believe his name was Rick, but his card is in the car). I would recommend this dealership to anyone interested in a new Fiat, or any used car.

I would recommend this dealer.
