Great experience

I was treated with respect and appreciate Stan’s professionalism but also being a down to earth, regular guy. Never did I feel pressured into buying a vehicle or making an immediate decision. He grabbed me a bottle of water while we sat in the lounge and discussed the vehicle I was interested in purchasing, I gave him a specific stock number. He found the car on the lot, washed it so it was looking fresh for the presentation and away I went in a test drive. I came back and he got to work on my trade-in vehicle. The numbers initially didn’t look as good as I wanted but about what I expected for a first offer. Stan continued showing professionalism as we worked through the negation. He ended up getting me to where I needed to be on a 2019 Stelvio Ti. This was a great experience from start to finish. I am highly satisfied with the dealership on th sales side - hopefully they are just as good in service. Not a typical dealership where you sit in a showroom with a bunch of desks and it’s feels like 1960 and you are in a confrontation for hours dealing with something that should be exciting and fun. This is a relaxed environment. There isn’t a lot of choice if your are in th market for a Fiat or Alfa Romeo but at least these guys don’t take themselves too serious.

A positive experience with Josh in service and Joe in sales.

I used the service department to make two separate repairs on a Jeep at different times.. Josh Kohn advised on both repairs and both repairs were completed as promised. No issues months later. Solid quality workmanship. I also have dealt with Joe Thomas in sales on a used car transaction. Joe was extremely helpful throughout the transaction. I strongly recommend this dealer for Sales & Service.

Extremely poor experience

I have put off writing this review because I really thought FIAT of Lakeside would make good on their promises. After continuous lies and run around, I need to write this review. I bought a 2017 Abarth in February of 2018. The vehicle had some front end damage, that they agreed to fix. They finally "Fixed" it in April. They ended up having to replace the front bumper and have it painted. The color match isn't even close. Also the front emblem is "on order", so they temporarily attached the old one. Well, that fell off, so I bought one from another studio and replaced it myself. I am still waiting for them to call me and tell the emblem has arrived. Also the car did not have the owners glove box material and I have been trying to get it from the studio since February. "I ordered it"..."have it and will put it in the glove box after service". Never happened. I stopped in a few weeks ago and Joe couldn't even remember what year car I bought, and still didn't have it. And if that wasn't enough, I am still waiting for them to replace the rear spoiler, which is also "on order". They will never call and I cannot get any more updates or responses from them. I will never set foot in this studio again. I have contacted FCA directly and Golling is now taking care of things.

Very helpful and catering to knowledgeable people

I arrived to the dealership with my mom and dad in tow, under the assumption that I, a young guy out of college, would not be taken seriously. When I walked in, I was greeted by Stan, who asked me what I was interested in. I told him I was interested in an Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti Sport, so he found one from the lot to let me test drive one. Throughout my visit, he was very friendly. I hear about all kinds of stories online about bad dealership experiences. Give a thanks to Stan for making a great experience for me!

Great prices and friendly staff!

I enjoyed visiting Fiat Lakeside, they have a nice lounge area and Stan (sales agent) treated me respectfully. I drove a couple of cars before making my final decision, no rush i was told, so i took my time to test them even in the highway. At the end, i got a good deal for my truck so i didn't have to look anywhere else for a used car.

A very positive experience!

I was treated with courtesy and respect. Those persons that I dealt with were both knowledgeable and very helpful. I had some initial trepidation going by myself, a female senior citizen to buy a used car. My concerns were completely unfounded. I could not have had a more positive experience. As an added bonus, I was able to share military experience with Stan.

learning about my car

On my last purchase of a vehicle, it was years before I found out how certain things worked. Well, not with my new 500x!! The day that I picked up my car, the salesman was so helpful in teaching how the car works and functions. I walked out very knowledgeable about all features on the 500x! (Stan was the person that sold me the 500x, but there was a different guy that explained the features...I am so sorry that I don't remember his name!)

Excellent communication start to finish

I contacted this dealer even though they were 5+ hours away after local dealers ignored, were super slow to respond, or didn't pay attention to questions on my internet request. Within 5 minutes of contacting Lakeside, I had a call and an email from David LLewellyn, who had read my "lead" and answered my specific questions. He was the first sales person to do so and I wanted to do business with him. He was also eager to help with my trade from a distance, another part of the transaction other dealers were reluctant to do. We worked out the deal ahead of time, and he was good at letting me know everything I needed to in order to buy a car in a different State. He was also very clear about all the figures and sent the extra details I was curious about. When I arrived at the dealer to close my new car cleaned and ready to go. They were well prepared, and if I'd been in a hurry I could have easily been in/out in less than an hour. David Holder was my finance guy, and I found him to be very friendly, not pushy, and he too was well prepared. Every part of the transaction was exactly as presented before my journey to Detroit. Other employees also seemed so friendly. There were a couple other sales guys on the floor who had a smile and were easy to talk to. The place has a nice family-like atmosphere. I was willing to get up at 3:30 am and do an 11 hour round trip because of the service these guys provided. If I lease another Alpha Romeo in 2 years I will not hesitate to do it again.

I went to Fiat of Lakeside because they had a great inventory of Fiat 124 Spiders. Salesman Dave had me quickly on the road test driving the car of my choice. After answering all my questions, the staff found a good finance plan, and the sale was done quickly and efficiently. After a review of the controls and setting up my bluetooth, I was on my way. A very professional and friendly experience.

I can't say enough about my amazing experience at this dealership!!! I've always hated the process of buying or leasing a new car and this was the best experience I've ever had . My sales person , Joe Thomas, was helpful , knowledgeable, accommodating, low-pressure and pleasant sales person I 've ever dealt with . Terrible Ethics and Service

My 2016 Fiat 500x spent 43 days unrepaired in service here due to intermittent electrical issues. The owner Rusty after several attempts to contact never returned a single phone call or Email. The sales manager Randy Phillips made many promises to make the situation right as we bought the car at that dealer and did not uphold his promises either. The service manager Steve seemed like one of the good guys through the whole thing but at the end showed his true colors as well and lied on multiple occasions and with held repair information from many. Even went as far as to delete DTC codes that were stored the same day they forced us to pick up the unrepaired vehicle, and attempted to keep the fact that the codes were stored from the service reporting. Finally the situation had to be handed over to an attorney for lemon law and buy back. Even though the vehicle is unrepaired I was forced to take it back and return the loaner. When picking up my unrepaired Fiat I quickly realized whomever they let drive the car smoked in it enough that the car reeks of cigarette smoke. I am severely asthmatic so at this point I can't even sit in the vehicle. Also they broke the lock and pieces around the lock on the trunk door. When I called they knew it was broken and openly admitted that their porter broke it while cleaning the car., they didn't attempt to fix it order a new handle and didn't have the respect to tell me about it until I noticed it on my own. They said they would replace it and ordered the part even set up a repair date. Shortly after setting up the repair they called and lied saying the part was on back order and that they were booked with appointments and couldn't get us in the schedule to repair it. They sated because I gave them a bad review they didn't want to repair the handle they broke. The handle costs over $300 and is not warrantied anywhere else because they broke it. I had to get customer care involved to call them and make them agree to set a date to repair the handle. This has been an awful situation without any ethics or respect on the dealerships part.. they made lots of promises to make this right yet showed NO value in us as their customer!! Never trust this dealer to purchase or service your vehicle, now we wait out the legal battle ahead..

Very professional and friendly

I worked with Stan on a used car purchase and he was beyond helpful. He was one of the most friendliest salesman i have met. David Holder was the finance manger we talked to and although we didnt finance through the dealership he was still very professional and nice. While we waited to sign papers we talked with other salesmen and they were very friendly. I have been to other dealerships like buff whelan and parkway jeep and Fiat of lakeside is definatly my favorite. This was my first car purchase because i am only 18 and they still treated me like a buyer. Very happy with my 2010 Chevy Aveo

Whatever Fiat is paying Steve, it isn't enough.

As a Chrysler employed family, we buy lease and drive Chryslers and, in the past, had Chrysler dealers handle our service. That all changed after we had an oil change done at Lakeside Fiat. The service manager Steve Witinko is amazing and offers unparalleled customer service. What a difference! We now bring all of our vehicles to Steve and recommend him to everyone we know. I hope you are taking good care of Steve, Fiat, because with service that good, he seems destined for bigger things. If he moves to another dealership we would definitely go with him. Keep our guy happy. We love seeing his smiling face every time we come.

I just want to applaud Stan, my salesperson for the smooth transition of buying my new car !! He was very empathetic towards my situation of being rear ended by a drunk driver! I did not expect to be buying a vehicle for quite some time as my totaled vehicle had been paid off! He has been retired he told me but missed people contact and went back to work for this dealership! Lucky me to have had a good experience after a bad one!! BOUGHT MY SECOND FIAT 500!!

I bought my first Fiat 500 a few years ago, a manual transmission. I have never in my life love the car before. I am a 60-year-old woman. I love driving my fiat!!! So, today I traded my first one and to get a great deal on my second Fiat 500. I worked with Stan who, by the way, made me a great cappuccino. He is very kind and friendly and made sure I understood everything as we went through the process. You should come in and do a test drive you'll be hooked.
