I purchased a Chevy Camaro Covertible and I had by far the best service I have ever had while purchasing a car. Alberto was awesome with obtaining my low APR rate from the bank. Tracy in finance helped with the glitches I had in my paper work. I was VERY impressed overall. When I pulled up a week later AFTER I had purchased the car (I had paperwork to sign) I WAS still treated like royalty. So, it was at that moment I realized this place just gives overall great service. I'm soo glad I chose Fairfield Chevrolet. I even gave an awesome review on Yelp that's is happy I am.

Recall not done correctly

Today I brought my Chevrolet Traverse back in because. The week before a pully off the steering belt broke and I took it to FHDaliey in San Leandro was it was closer to have towed. I was informed that the pully may have broken due too much tension from a previous recall done at Fairfield Chevrolet. And my service air bag light was now on. Come to find out when I have that recalled for service at Fairfield Chevrolet instead of saudering the wires together they just clamped it together and wrapped it in electrical tape. So bringing me back to today. I called and had left a message with Ash on 9/29/2014, he never called me back until I just showed up today at service department. When I explained to him and the manager. Instead of getting a I apologize for the fact I've been riding around in a vehicle the air bags probably won't depoly in the event of a accident. I just got ok we can look into that. And it was going to be in over night and the manger didn't want to give me a rental car he offered a shuttle right home. Until I told him that this was car that I take to work he reluctantly said I could have a rental for a day. Needless to say once they fix my air bag. I will not be back to this location for service ever again.

Greasy Hand and Fingerprints

I took my freshly washed black Camaro in for service. The car was returned to me with greasy hand and fingerprints on the hood and fenders. I did not accept my car until it was clean.

Greatest Sales team ever.....

When I walked into Fairfield Chevrolet-I had already been to 6 other Chevrolet dealers and they had all told me, "without a sizable down payment-you will never own a camaro until your credit improves." I was so upside down on my 2012 Ford Mustang, I was buried in it. The salesman that I worked with,Nate, was the best salesperson I have ever worked with and his father, Dwight, was unbelievable. Both of them were so supportive and friendly. I was a pessimist when I walked through the door. I kept telling the salesman and Dwight, that the bank will refuse my application and Nate,was supportive and empathetic. He kept telling me that, "we work miracles here." Then he told me about their finance guru Mark; with twenty years experience and friends everywhere. I told him that, " I had heard all of this before and all of these "gurus" are unable to get me financed into the car of my dreams." I should have sat in the Camaro before I ever sat in the Mustang. The Mustang is a piece of S&^% compared to the Camaro and I wanted one. I sat there, stressing out; worrying; frustrated but resolute in the knowledge that I was again, wasting my time because I would not be driving home in a new Camaro. Mark and Dwight came out of the office wearing a smile, and stuck their hand out while stating to me, "congtratulations; if you are willing to come up a little bit in down payment, you can be the proud owner of a new camaro-today. I had watched all of them; including a guy whose name I cannot recall, go back and forth into offices and other offices; off and on the phone;back into offices. The team at Fairifield Chevrolet were working their xxx off to make me a believer; that they are indeed miracle workers there. I drove my new Camaro all weekend; I even went back unexpectedly with some more questions and the guy whose name I cannot recall-sat me down and explained to me what I needed to know. What surprised me more than actually getting the car-was the support I received from all of the team. Nate told me, "I was not trying to sell you a car. I was trying to make a friend." Well Nate, you did. I sat there; sometimes quiet sometimes not so quiet and Nate never left my side. He never tried to fill up, what must have been awkward silence to him, with false words or statements. He was just, there. Supportive and friendly through it all. The team even re-worked the deal to make my payments lower and when I told them what I needed, they listened and more importantly, acted on it and did their best to make it happen. I would recommend Fairfield Chevrolet to anyone who is thinking about buying a car; new or used. And, if your a Ford person and like the mustang, TRY THE CAMARO FIRST!!!! I have bought and paid for 6 brand new cars in the past 7 years; always Ford. You can bet, that I will buy all of my future vehicles from Fairfield Chevrolet: Nate, Dwight, Mark and the guy whose name I cannot remember. Wherever they are, when I need my next new car (I hope at Chevrolet in Fairfield) that is where I will go. I have never been serviced by such a compassionate, knowledgable and professional team, in my life.

Absolutely the shadiest group we've ever had the displeasure of doing business with. My husband and I actually cancelled our new car order which had already arrived to take our business to another dealership. The finance manager was trying to scam us. We did research online and found that Fairfield Chevy was using one of the top scans when purchasing a new car by telling us that the bank that they were trying to finance us through was FORCING us to purchase the extended warranty as well as providing a down payment of $10-11k. The first salesman we did business with was courteous and actually gave us a better deal than was expected, management was actually angry with him and shortly thereafter he was not employed by the dealership. My new husband and I were attempting to order our very first brand new car and it was our dream car and instead of being filled with elation and excitement we walked away in disappointment.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Purchased a used car on 7/29/11. Salesman very friendly and professional. However get to the finance dept and theres were your trouble begins. Never get return calls from finance manager. I have had to go down to the dealership 2 times now only to tell me that they will take care of it,again weeks pass. Also made General Manager aware of problems. 1 issue was waiting on registration only to find out car had oustanding tickets on it before we purchased it. Again I had to take care of. 2 mths into the nightmare 1 employee Sophia in accting takes care of issues. Never would purcase car here again.

I would not recommend this dealer.
