2014 CPO Jetta tdi

We purchased a 2014 CPO Jetta tdi and after 2 days the ECM went out. They towed the car to dealer for repair, but who knew it would be 2 months to get the part. Chris Roth of service tried hard to locate a part and none were available. I looked myself and also contact vw america. Ron Whaley of sales offered return of money or to select another car, but our son want what he picked and was willing to wait. In the end we got car back and Fairfield VW made the wait worthwhile.

Great Experience and I Hate Car Buying

The entire experience was a pleasure. It was a no haggle, stress free, way to buy a car and I will go back for my next car. My salesman Greg Webb was fabulous and easy going. I went on Saturday to test drive but the deal was too great to pass up. I picked up my new car today. I can honestly say it was pleasure.

Awesome: Fast & Polite Service!

Stephanie was very helpful when I got to the service counter to set up my appointment. I was disappointed initially when I learned that a recall due on my vehicle would add about an hour to my time, so I set up my work laptop to kill some time. Not long after I settled in and got to some work of my own they were coming to tell me that my vehicle was ready! That's a great kind of problem to have!

VW Tiguan

I owned a VW Jetta for the past 11 years and have had few problems with this car. Went car shopping this weekend to replace a Honda CRV and decided to stop in to VW Fairfield. We worked with Greg Webb who was wonderful throughout the entire process! Ended up leasing a 2019 Tiguan SE. My husband and I LOVE the new car! Would absolutely recommend a VW to anyone and this dealership!

Good people

Everything went well. The entire process was smooth overall. Steve and his manager were great guys to work with. The only issue I found with the entire process was waiting for the finance office. Because of the fact that there were to people before me and the entire sales pitch that the finance officer has to go over with you I had to wait over and hour and a half. I don't find this to be the fault of any individual but I think that this process could be a little more stream lined.

Engine light on.

The engine light on our 2019 Tiguan came on a little over 30 days after delivery. I was met by Liz Dietrich at my scheduled appointment. She listened to my description of the problem. Liz was very professional and explained everything that they would be doing with the hope that they could correct the problem. It turned out that the engine light "falsed tripped" and everything was fine. Liz explained everything and sent me on my way.

Long wait, BIG price

I'm sure they have good mechanics but I waited 4 hours to get a headlight changed. I asked the status of my car twice, both times I was told they would get back to me shortly. Furthermore, this place is overpriced. I bought my VW in DC. DC was cheaper than this place. Yes, Washington DC, one of the most expensive places in the world and DC was cheaper!!!

Great experience

Got me in at the appointed time. I was expecting a couple of hours but in an hour and 10 minutes the job is done. Both Tony and Stacy we're both very very helpful and answered some other questions that I had on another vehicle. Everyone was courteous. I also had purchased my vehicle there and thought I got a very fair deal

Unacceptable

I purchased the car with an issue. The issue was supposed to be fixed before I picked up the car that week. It's been over a month. I dropped the car off for service to have the issue fixed last week. Waited a week before I found out they still didn't have the parts so I picked my car up. I was notified that the parts have arrived. I emailed asking to reschedule. No reply a week later. This part replacement would take an hour max for any mechanically competent person to install. I've waited well over a month after spending over $30k on a car just and I still don't have what I paid for. This is completely unacceptable and I've never been so disappointed in a service or company before. My salesman, Marshall, has been the only person to actually contact me and help me even after the sale was finalized. He's done way more than he should have to do for me. If it weren't for him I wouldn't be returning to this dealership again.

All good, mouse house found, wrong tires installed

All was good at the VW. I really like the service desk and how I can see what is coming, etc. The only issue was I had asked for the Bridgestone Eco tires that were on the Golf to be replaced and got Conti ProContacts because they were in stock. I could have come back for tires. Both tires were on sale and the Conti are rated for 55K miles vs. 70K miles on the Bridgestones and were a bit more expensive per tire. Other than that, it is always a pleasure.
