Service department - complete rip off

April 26, 2018 - Visited Castle Honda to get my CRV repaired where trunk was not opening with the help of remote. Service rep - Danesh Verma advised that it would be approx. 1 hour of labor plus cost of parts to fix the problem. After 45 mins or so they advised that replacement part is not in stock so they would need to order the part which would come next week. Charged me $122 for diagnose/open and closing the tailgate and gave me estimated of another 1hour of labour $122 and $90 for parts. I argued that why I am being charged another hour of labour just because part is not in stock which shouldn't be customer problem. Had the part was in stock, my total cost would have been only 1 hour of labour and cost of parts. Even after explaining that the reason I will end up double labour cost because dealership does not have part in stock which shouldn't be customer problem, service rep was not willing to waive 1 hour of labour charge. This is not the first time I had bad experience with the dealership. I hope other customers would learn from my experience as I made a mistake of going back to dealership hoping service has improved over period of time. Thank you, jhnsmee@yahoo.com

Service deaprtment is a ripp off

My Honda civic is still under warranty. Went to get the odometer screen checked which stopped working. It took two grand hours to diagnose a simple issue, only to tell me that the screen got fused due to water damage. Tell me if the water can get into a car's screen what kind of quality are we talking about. It shoud've been a warranty covered issue but still they charged me $275 just to diagnose that and asking for another $1500 to replace it. Of course I declined but they rip me off $275. Worst worst worst experience.

Worst Dealer, Worst Service department I ever seen.

Brought my car in for oil change and brake work cost me $1569, they keep telling me something wrong with this, something wrong with that, exactly three days later, my parking brake made some weird noise brought it back to them, they inspected it and they said it was fine and there are nothing wrong with my car, a day later I have to go back there again for " Safety standard certificate " ( To change owner ), cost me other $ 194 for absolutely NOTHING because they said my car can not pass the safety standard and they asked for other $700 in change to get it fixed and maybe pass the safety standard, Come on it is a four year olds car and they fully inspected my car NOT once but twice within one week period and they still can not give a straight answer and asking for a other $700. SHAME ON YOU FAMILY HONDA. Avoid headache and Save your money, stay away from this Dealer!!!!!!!

Battery not charging

Went to this dealer for battery dying overnight $ 1,500 later problem not solved they keep guessing what the problem is at my expense even though the truck is under warranty.

I wanted to buy an Elentra but the new one was little out of my budget. I got a reference of Goldie Chandiramani from a friend. I wasn't sure how a Honda Dealer can help me but I met him anyway. He understood my requirements and promised to call back. I got a call from him after a couple of days with a request to visit him again. When I went there, to my surprise, there was a brand new Elentra at the price of used one with just 75 km on it. To cut the story short, I and my wife were extremely happy to get this deal. I truely appreciate his commitment to enlighten his customers.

Not a good time here

This is the closet dealership to my house so always used to go here first. They were by far the most expensive quote. FYI I bought 2 Honda vehicles in last 1 year. They were never able to give a compatative offer and their first offer was almost the MRP, and expected my to give an offer. I rather has someone give me a fair offer to start and hence I bough it from nearby dealerships. My last car purchase was done in 10 mins. It went like this.. here is the offer.. and I said YES. Based on my experince at this dealership: either you get ok price, or expect to play the game. At this point, I no longer visit this dealership, as from my experince they will be the expensive one. Something to point: Apart from the pricing, the dealership was very good overall. Clean and with plently of people to go to. It was just the pricing that threw me off.

Excellent buying experience..

The experience in my 2018 Honda Odyssey EX-RES buying process is excellent and above the expectation. I booked EX model and changed my mind for EX -RES. I called Vas and told the situation, he booked an appointment to discuss about the model change and finalize the deal. Once the deal is done, Vas introduced John Paul from financial services for my loan arrangement. He has gone through the purchase invoice and explained the loan process in detail.He told that I will call you tomorrow for the loan approval. Next day afternoon he called and confirmed that my loan is approved. On delivery day, met Paisley for delivery paperwork. She answered all questions and explained all the paperwork. Once paperwork is done she walk-through the vehicle exterior and interior features, it was really great. I read reviews and went to Family Honda thoroughly impressed with their exceptional service throughout the entire process.I would definitely recommend to my friends for family Honda. Once again thanks everyone for providing the excellent service.

I bought my very first vehicle @ Family Honda a few weeks ago from Max Gill. The process was a few easy steps and he was very understanding. The vehicle I wanted had to be ordered and Max kept me very well informed about the arrival and delivery of the vehicle. He was very helpful and knowledgeable with any questions/concerns I had. Amazing experience

My wife and I bought a 2017 pilot and was taken care of from the get go. From Jas answering any questions I had and always being honest a great salesman. Viviana being very kind and thourougly going through the paper work portion and warranties and everything with us. Having purchase many cars from other dealerships, my husband and I agree that Family Honda service consultant, Vasilios is an outstanding service consultant. We were impressed with his professionalism: his rare ability to connect with people within a short period of time, his impressive detailed knowledge, his excellent communication skills and his compelling presence. He was personable, polite, respectful, patient with our many questions, even if they were repetitive. He was articulate and very detailed in his answers. He spent time explaining all the features of the car, explain the manual and various payment plans, insurance, etc. Vasilios also took the time to send us a thank you email and follow up with us after the purchase of the car. Jay was courteous, respectful and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain payment options and offered information regarding insurance options. He took the time to explain all our options and anything else we wanted to purchase with the car. He sent out emails of documents promised and answered my calls in a timely manner.
