Best Dealer Experience!

We have purchased six vehicles from dealerships and Findlay was hands down, the best experience we’ve had! Oran was our Sales Consultant and not only was he friendly and professional, he was transparent and a straight shooter. Much to be said these days; we highly recommend him. Their prices are very competitive and the turn around time from arrival to departure was impressive.

I would recommend this dealer.

Convenient

Using Findlay Toyota is convenient. I could make an appointment online. I needed to get home for a delivery to my house. I signed up for a free ride home . When my car was ready, I was met at my home and driven to the service department to pick up my car. Convenient all around.

No pressure and fast service.

As promised

Paid for service with no results

I brought my car in with a check engine light on, they charged me 100.00 and said it was my gas cap. The check engine light came back on, I was told to bring it back, so I brought it back. They did more tests and said it was the fuel filler neck and charged me $1,000.00. The next day the engine light was back on, when I finally got a hold of Leslie, which was not easy, I was told to bring it back, so I did. Guess what...they wanted more money...I told them no. I had my daughter drive the car back to California and took it to my mechanic, he found the problem in less than a couple hours. He found a crack in one of the lines and replaced it. The cost of the hose was less than $10 dollars. The poor service, lack of knowledge and taking advantage of customers, for these reasons I do not recommend Toyota of Flagstaff.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Will not repair defective parts on 2018 Camry

1) Toyota has a problem with defective gas caps which leaks dust into the gas filler neck / gas tank. My 2015 Corolla had this problem (Findlay never resolved/repaired it) and the 2018 Camry I traded it in on has the same issue. The O-ring which is supposed to seal against the filler neck is obviously defective and/or mis-sized or of the wrong material composition. Findlay's Service department maintains that they are incapable of solving this problem and have referred me to Toyota Customer Service. 2) My 2018 Camry also leaks dust past the door seal(s) ONLY on the rear doors and dust is deposited on the thresholds and seat and floormats. Obviously, seals of different thickness / design / material composition would resolve this problem. AGAIN, Findlay's Service department maintains that they are incapable of solving this problem and have referred me to Toyota Customer Service. I / we own 2 other Toyotas (we only own Toyotas, currently), and neither suffer from either of the aforementioned problems, so we know Toyota is capable of correcting the problems..... I do however have serious doubt as to whether Findlay Is.

Helpful service advisor!

Had an issue with my Mazda CX-5 while visiting our flagstaff cabin and wasn't sure what to do! There isn't a Mazda dealer in flag so my wife and I had to improvise. We ended up pulling into Findlay Toyota in the hopes they could check our battery and diagnose the problem we were having. Thank you so much Ashlee McCormack for being so helpful and having our vehicle fixed and back on the road in less than an hour! Although our permanent residence is in Phoenix, I will come to flagstaff and give Findlay Toyota first shot at selling me a new vehicle!

I just want to say Findlay toyota is hands down best dealership in Arizona. The service is impeccable through all departments. Everyone is so nice and warm. They treat you like a person not just a credit score. I will buy every vehicle I own from findlay from now on. We love our Toyotas. Richie Ferguson in service always goes above and beyond for his customers . He is an awesome guy and true asset to findlay. Service dept wouldnt be the same without him and mgr.Steve. our salesman Phil we just met recently buying our mew tundra was well informed. Very helpful. And went above and beyond to make sure we our buying experience was enjoyable. Great guy. And dealership mgr Brian came out to meet us and shake our hand. He made us feel important as customers and appreciated. Never have I ever had that happen before at a,dealership. He s an great guy. I love findlay toyota and would recommend them to everyone I know. Failure to be Honest and return calls/emails

You can check my comments on YELP about Findlay Toyota. I can go on and on about the communication skills and product knowledge the Dealer Principle unfortunately needs to know about. The salesman has shifted the cost price on numerous occasions during our communication and was not up front about the vehicle. He lacked the knowledge and the skills to sell Toyota's and most of all very unprofessional to say the least. Anyway, I have purchased my Toyota in Phoenix today and have saved close to $3,000.00 and also the sales tax in specific towns are way less than Flagstaff. The dealers are are willing to work with you and will compete for your Business aggressively. Take the time and go online and search the Phoenix Dealers for your best price and only purchase in the Phoenix areas. I do know it's a long drive but if you want professionalism and salesmanship and with product knowledge then make it a necessity to go down there for your new or used Toyota. I can't stress the fact about folks not purchasing from Findlay Toyota... I am hoping Robby the new car manager will contact me in reference to my experience at his dealership. The Salesman name was Ernie Cardenas..

pro and con

When bringing car in for oil and tire rotation the two lady that greet you Bobby and Leslie top of the line. While walking around thinking of a new truck meet Marcus and again liked very much and as when coming back an hr. later he was busy and Payton took over and also very nice. Now when working on buying the car the service manager said if I sign now! instead of waiting to get wife here he would knock off a couple of thousands of dollar at as was said would knock off thousands not hundreds but thousands. No way should you work that way and went and got the wife. Now when got back no longer thousands but $700 instead. Felt like almost walked out as never, never should anyone ever be put in that position. That still bothers me as this policy needs to be changed! Did feel like was being cheated but bought the truck as have been a loyal Toyota owner now for years and do put on a lot of mile before trading in on my cars/trucks. This being the last truck going to buy as 66 years old and feel last one of my life time was a little disappointed by the manager and how he handled it.

Can't Even Schedule An Appointment

I've been trying all day to schedule an appointment for service. I have yet to actually talk to anyone other than the operator, who I finally told thanks, but transferring me to a number that never gets answered is frustrating and unacceptable. Finally got to voicemail, but 5 hours later I still haven't heard from a service advisor. There are other shops that work on Toyota's. I guess I'm going to find one of them since Findlay doesn't care about their customers.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Efficient service

We located a vehicle on CarFax and I called and spoke to Joey Gonzalez. We knew what we wanted in a used vehicle for our daughter. He answered all my questions and had the vehicle ready for us to view and test drive when we arrived (3 hour drive). Joey understood what we were looking for and didn't try to sell us on other vehicles with features we didn't need. We appreciated his straight-forward demeanor. Our daughter is thrilled with her used Corolla!

This May Seem Like Small Potatoes But.....

My first impression of Findlay Toyota in Flagstaff was good. On the surface the customer service was friendly and fast and the shuttle service was great. My reason for giving a low rating is that I'm not sure they did everything they said they did. It was a standard 45K service which includes topping off fluids. The service advisor made a point of saying that they topped of my windshield washer fluid, which was empty when I arrived. Well, they didn't. It was bone dry. This is small potatoes but is it an indication of a greater dysfunction? You be the judge

A dealership that actually cares

I initially had some issues with my purchase at Findlay. However, they resolved those issues by listening to what I had to say and really hearing me. Jon and Shawn both worked hard to turn my opinion of Findlay around and they succeeded. I will be heading to them the next time I want to pick up a Toyota.
